Hello Ivan's Phoenix!!!

welcome.gif

Did they actually do a story on Robert on AMW? Or was it his picture and stats only.

Is Stephanie's "blood" story true, or misinformation?

Why did this guy leave town right when Robert went missing???

I live in northern Colorado, and all I want to do is get in my car and drive the 800 miles to Boise. I want to be there until they bring him home. Until they find his body I will not give up hope.

Where is Robert Manville? Where is Trenton Duckett? RIP Ivan Aguillar-Cano, found in the back of a Louisville KY city garbage truck as city workers were doing their rounds.

Children are not trash.

Hi Ivan's Phoenix and welcome! That guy that left town and said his truck was stolen gave me the creeps. He was VERY nervous when they interviewed him and just gave me the impression he knows a whole lot more than he's saying! It breaks your heart that these people are throwing our little ones away like trash..We need to do something about it....NOW!

Thank's to all for the welcome!!!

Indeed you may add little Adji D. and Hayleigh C., and all the rest. Where are these children?

Every time I look at Robert's picture I just break. That precious little grin. He deserve's the best from life, and not this gut wrenching treatment. When they brought in the canopy, the orange buckets, and the bloodhound I thought I was going to be sick.
The guy that left town bugs me.

I have to go to work at 10am and I can't get any Idaho new's station on my cell that gives any info on Robert at all.

This is going to be just like Ivan Cano's case in that LE will clamp down on anything getting out to the public. Ivan died 07/07/07, they arrested and jailed the alleged perp 12/07, and nothing has come out since. At least they care enough to work so hard at getting the person convicted that they believe murdered him. At least Boise LE is not giving up like Florida LE did with Trenton.

Praying that Robert is still with us. What was in that yard? Why the canopy? They said they have not found Robert, so what the heck did they find?

This crap has to stop.

Welcome aboard, Ivan's Phoenix! :)

-----------
He is most probably "tuning out" his surroundings. He has probably done this many times in the past to drown out the sounds of abuse going on in that household. I hope and pray that LE has questioned him throughly about the mother and her boyfriend. I feel that he knows a lot of information that could aid this case in being solved.

I thought the older brother was Mr Manwill's son? Unless he heard about it from Robert I can't imagine he was around the mother or boyfriend that much.

A Memorial for missing Robert Manwill lines the street in front of his mother's apartment complex.

Letters from the family ask the little boy to hang on and promise they won't give up hope.

But Robert has been missing for nine days now and Heather Estrada is just one of many who are still praying for the best but wants answers.

"People have probably lost hope and it's hard after nine days," Estrada said. "You start thinking the worst."

Police say they know where Jenkins is but won't disclose her location. CBS 2 knocked on her apartment door but there was no answer.

Authorities say no one is in custody and no arrest warrants have been issued. But no one has been cleared from the investigation either.

More than a dozen people carrying green glow sticks and lighting candles gathered Sunday night at a makeshift tribute near Robert's mother's apartment.

The group, which had attracted 60 people to a vigil on Friday, intends to meet every night until Robert comes home.

"We just did it to show that we aren't giving up and the family shouldn't give up either," said Steve Adams, a resident of the Southwest Boise neighborhood.

Those who gathered said they don't talk about who may be responsible for Robert's disappearance or details of the investigation.

At a Sunday news conference, Boise police urged residents not to listen to widely circulating rumors and to know that officers will pass on information through the media. Officers received 315 leads via the helpline and are working on those that are credible.

"This is day nine and Robert Manwill is still missing", says Deputy Chief Jim Kerns.

Boise Police and FBI Investigators are still searching for 8-year-old Robert Manwill. Police have been aggressively following up on a number of leads they say could help them to finding the missing boy. Now with the help from two national groups, Team Adam and the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children they brought in a bloodhound from Indiana trained to identify scents and track them down.

"My bloodhound is scent specific which means they only go after that one particular scent that i give them", say Miriam Perry.

Tips lead investigators to search the apartment of Robert's mother Melissa Jenkins, The Ada County Landfill and Saturday they spent the day digging through the backyard of a South Ada County home.

Police say they do believe Robert is the victim of a tragic event but as of right now no arrests have been made, however, they say they are getting closer. Meantime family members are still holding onto hope Robert will be found alive.

Day Nine In Search For Robert

Meet mattie.

"Mattie..you wanna work?....<dog barks>...alright!"

She's a bloodhound, and she's the newest recruit out of Indiana to aid in the search for Manwill. She brings along her handler Miriam Perry who volunteers for the National Center For Missing and Exploited Children. They've come to Boise free of charge to help find Manwill.

"Smell it, seek it and she's off!" said Perry, handling Mattie in a demonstration.

Mattie is a sent specific bloodhound.

"It doesn't matter how many people have walked that area, she is gong to go after one sent I've given her," said Perry.

The Boise Police says Mattie has been crucial in the investigation, but won't elaborate on the specifics. Nor will they elaborate on what they're looking for at they Ada County Landfill Saturday. Or the house in Southwest Boise, where police set up a tent in the backyard.

Meanwhile, police continue to filter through hundreds of leads -- 315 to be exact. Beyond that, it's been very hush hush.

Welcome To WS'S Ivan's Phoenix!

There is a court case for Baby Boy Ehrlick birth year 2005 in Ada County but of course the case is sealed. I don't know if this has anything to do with either Daniel Ehrlick or Melissa Jenkins, but it is certainly possible that this was their child - given the lack of a first name, it seems plausible this could be an adoption. If she was married to Frank Sieber and got pregnant with Ehrlick's baby, that might have been what precipitated their divorce in early 2006. It's unclear how long she has known Ehrlick and when they started dating.

Maybe a long shot but the thought just crossed my mind so I thought I'd toss it out there.

There is a birth and death certificate for Baby Boy Ehrlick in 2005. I cannot get a copy of them to load though to get the details. I can see that they are there but they seem to restricted in access.

Or I don't know what I am doing, which is always a possiblity.

My *guess* is they were going to charge someone with something related to this child since it is in the criminal court records but were not able to build a case the prosecutor would proceed with. That is pure speculation though.

I am really surprised there hasn't been some kind of a presser in the past couple of days - or is one expected today?

where are you searching? I didn't see a birth or death record, only the court case...

Maddy and her handler, Mimi Perry were brought to Boise courtesy of Team Adam, the Missing Child Rapid Response Team, a program of the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. Maddy and other search dogs have been valuable in aiding investigators as we continue to search for missing Robert Manwill.

Good morning everybody! Just checking in to see if there were any developments... looks like we won't hear anything until the presser..... Hope the stations stream it this time! (however the last two pressers seemed to may have been taped by LE with no media there at all and they may want to keep it that way... just a thought....)

TY Angel! For some reason, I thought that information had all been released on Friday.

I'm trying to catch up so please don't be aggravated if I ask something that has been covered. Has this guy's truck (the one reported stolen) been taken by LE for evidence? Very suspicious that the truck was "stolen" and the owners left town at around the same time.

I know what you mean. I live on the NC coast and wish that I could help search for Robert. He looks so much like my eight year old grandson.

No problem lonetraveler! It helps all of us to review anything related to the case after a few days to refresh all of our memories.

His truck has been taken by LE! IIRC as well as 2 vehicles from that were the mothers' & her BF's.
It might have only been one from the apt. I'd have to look that up to be positive.....if my memory is correct LE has taken a total of 3 vehicles in the case.

I am so far behind. I wasn't on all weekend and now I'm trying to play catch up. I'm on page 17 of the first thread and I can see just by checking in here that this beautiful little boy still hasn't been found. I pray he's brought home soon. This is just awful.

I was just looking at the news releases from the Boise Police Dept. site of the latest arrest the last month or so! I'm shocked at how many have been arrested for meth in Boise! There is a definate meth problem in the area, confirming what another local poster from Boise has posted here! :shakehead:

I will never understand the attraction to any/all drugs that ruins your life & destroys your body like meth does! Haven't any of these people ever looked at the before & after pictures of meth addicated people?????

Sorry for being a bit off topic, but I'm begining to wonder if meth is/was being used by any of the suspects in this case. Like the Melissa & her BF etc. etc.!

Take a look at the news releases & click on the arrests for last month or so for yourself.
I haven't even opened but a couple of them & most of them are related to meth! :shakehead:
