The comments are on the Facebook post from KXLY linking to the story, my bad. I thought all the comments linked together.

Interestingly, as I'm searching for the Facebook post to link to, it appears to have been deleted.

EDIT: Above linked story still works, linking post was just deleted from Facebook. Possibly from all of the negative comments?

Most likely from all the flak they were getting.

I am puzzled as to why a person driving a car would go after a big guy in a larger vehicle (a truck) not knowing whether he was carrying a gun.

I am really having a problem with the road rage 'story'.

Especially if that person in the car even advertised that he was having a sale because he needed money "for medication".

Yes and Idaho is an open carry state so they were really taking a risk.

Anybody else having trouble with this thread? I can't get beyond the first page unless I click on "View First Unread"...but I want to go back and read other pages that I missed...It is the only thread that is giving me this problem...Anybody else?
No problems for me.

A local news station has filed a motion to unseal the case:

http://www.krem.com/news/motions-filed-to-unseal-documents-in-kirk-murder-investigation/346455127

Bo's family members vehemently oppose this. TJ in the comments section is a relative.

There are two new comments under the article itself which state that the motion to unseal the case yesterday was successful and it is now unsealed. The fourth comment has the whole docket from the beginning until yesterday afternoon.

I can't see any comments.

Some quotes from the article:
Many people in the public have asked KREM 2 to not unseal the documents in the case, saying everything will come out in due time and that the motion to unseal the documents might jeopardize the case.Jeopardizing a case is the last thing we want. What KREM 2 is asking for is very similar to what was released in three other high-profile cases in Kootenai County in the last two years; nothing KREM 2 is asking for is out of the ordinary.
Most times, when records are released in cases like these, it comes to the media as redacted. Sensitive information is usually blacked out by the court and law enforcement. On top of that, we look for sensitive information before releasing it ourselves, to ensure we do not taint the judicial process.

She urges KREM 2 to leave the investigation alone, and that she and her family trust the process and don't want anything to mess up the investigation.

Also, this article confirms that she and family believe it's possible Bo was in fact kidnapped in front of their house.

Horrific.
Oh my. How sad. I fear unsealing because the media wants info. could harm the case and getting true justice for Bo.
Imho...they will never get close to what they did to Bo and his family.

So it HAS been unsealed? Wow.

Unrelated to the unsealing but does anyone know if the "motion to preserve crime scene" is a normal procedure? I wonder which crime scene they mean? The suspects house? Or the location they found Bo's body? Or the driveway where they took Bo? Or the place they burned his truck? Seems to be multiple crime scenes...I'm guessing it is the house since the outdoor crimes scenes would be harder to "preserve" and this leads me to a horrifying question--did they take Bo back to their house and kill him there?

Agreed. While I've been completely consumed with finding out everything that I can about this case since it began, I think filing a motion to unseal the case against the wishes of the immediate family is taking it way too far.

Link's not working, did they remove it? If all suspects are in custody and there is no threat to the public, the media needs to let the investigation continue without interference. Everything will be brought out in trial. IMO, DH's panicking FB contact with his sister a day before his arrest expressing his desire to move back to SC shows he was feeling the heat and getting ready to run. So thankful LE stepped in when they did to get this monster off the streets.

Legal terms always confuse me, plus I'm British. But the medias motion to have the case unsealed appears to have been successful.

Dated yesterday. Yet nothing in the media yet? Did they grow a conscience?

Fat chance on the conscience growing -. But we can all dream, Mrs. S
