While we all know that I want to see KC spend every day for the rest of her life in prison, I think that the most appropriate punishment for CA for what she has done would be to have KC right back at home, stealing, lying, looking up information online on how to kill her and GA to get the house. Be careful what you wish for CA...

I believe that if the DP wasn't on the table, they might fight some. But they wouldn't go to this extreme. Probably they would have just satisfied themselves with an impact statement where they might have pleaded for her to get parole someday, but I think they would have been truthful.

No fire from me, everyone is entitled to their opinion. the part I have trouble with is them being truthful. I think they pick and chose when to tell half-truths, mis-truths or divert from the question all together.

I also am not sure that they "know" how to tell the complete truth. Seems to me that every story has that little added detail...IDK if it's their way of making themselves llok/feel better about what they are saying but it doesn't seem to matter what the subject at hand is.

I want a more wishy washy option. I think Cindy would lie her head off all the way no matter what was on the table. I think the men would be more truthful (maybe not 100% but mostly). I gotta feel that GA started out that way and was shut down by Cindy. I don't know that that sock in mouth would have happened if it were lesser charges.

Cindy has lied to herself and to others all of ICA's life to save her. ICA stole money from her, her grandmother, lied about being pregnant and Cindy was there to mop up all the messes and blame everybody else. Of COURSE she would lie to save her on a lesser offense.

P.S. I know you said the Anthonys plural but it goes without saying the other two have been taught/raised to be her pawns on her nice lil chess table of life.

I did plural it but only because GA has yet to testify for the DT. I'm still not sure about him and if he's capable of swearing to "god" to tell the whole truth and nothing but the truth.

GA was the only family member (that I'm aware of) that testified for the grand jury. He litterally helped put ICA behind bars to begin with, so for me, the jury is still out on him.

I voted yes because I do believe CA & LA would say/do anything necessary to get ICA off. I haven't been able to watch the trial or read the daily trial threads all the way through the last couple weeks. I was shocked by what I saw on HLN's evening reporting of both CA's & LA's testimony the last 2 days. CA seemed like a totally different person on the stand under JB's questioning than the devastated grandmother my heart went out to when first questioned by the prosecution team.

From what I've seen, GA is literally the odd man out here. I don't believe he would lie to save ICA. But I've been so wrong so many times about this family, I just don't know anymore. It seems as if ICA, CA & LA would all gladly blame GA for anything & everything and let him take the fall, especially if it would save ICA.

All just my opinion .... & I've been wrong before.

This is a tough question for me. After all this time, I still don't know what motivates this family. I don't understand Lee's emotions today; I don't understand Cindy's about-face testimony; I don't understand George's silence/seeming lack of emotion regarding the abuse of Casey (nor Lee's either). I think I will feel devastated if Casey isn't punished in a serious, severe way.

Regardless whether or not the DP was involved in this I strongly believe that GA, CA and LA would lie to help protect their sociopathic inmate sweetheart.

We are here BECAUSE they never made the inmate suffer any consequences.

They would try to save her without a doubt.

1. I think Cindy's biggest regret is calling 911 in the first place, any guilt she feels is over this.
2. I believe they are such an arrogant family that they think they are not accountable to anyone but "their own family" and any wrong doing that anyone of them might perpatrate should be delt in house, society should butt out.
3. I believe they think of each other as property to be controlled and munipulated in what ever manner they choose. Therefore it is up to them and them only to decide and handle anything they deem necessary about this "Casey" situation. Everyone else should butt the he!! out. They are above us. I saw this attitude time and time again in the first few months. How dare we not jump to do things as they propose they be done.

Therefore I believe they would lie regardless as the courts have no buisness handeling something their child may or may not have done. That's Cindy's job to decide.

Yours is the opinion with which I most agree, having known a family very similar in which the father bribed barristers, solicitors, even court reporters in order to keep his sons out of jail and their antics from the public. In private though, that same father took his fury out in full on his children, once he'd secured release

I came to know the father's parents and discovered they'd operated in exactly the same way regarding their children's lawlessness. So I suspect it's genetic plus learned behaviours

Interestingly, those children are in their 30s and 40s now and they haven't changed and their father is *still* bailing them out and covering up for them

So even if the Ants secure KC's freedom down the line, it's possible they'll all find themselves in similar situations through the years and that they'll repeat their current coping tactics. Imo, it's basically a family of chip-on-shoulders who believe no-one but themselves has the right to chastise them or find them guilty. It's a kind of egomaniacal arrogance similar to a renegade monkey-pack, imo. They pit themselves against the world and believe it's their right to do so

Respectfully RBM, but I disagree. I think that dress suit her well, and she chose words that were appropriate for her age. Granted, she didn't say what *I*/*we* wanted to hear, but her apparel and wording didn't make her any less credible, imo.
To stay on topic. I believe they would lie to sway the jury re: premeditation. How far will they go/at what cost?? I'm withholding judgement until after the trial ends, because I honestly have no clue what's gonna happen next....
