Wake up Judge Kathyrn!
Downers Grove, IL —
Family and friends of the murdered Kristine Gilford admitted shock this afternoon when Judge Kathryn Creswell announced she would be delaying the sentencing of Kristine's killer-husband yet again.
Sentencing of Eric Gilford, who in May 2010 brutally stabbed to death his then-pregnant wife, has been moved to Tuesday morning, Creswell announced to a surprised group of family, friends and prosecutors in a DuPage County courtroom just a little after 3:30 p.m. today.
Creswell reasoned she had to review notes on court proceedings, forcing her to postpone Gilford's sentencing.
I now have a good idea why - they were shocked court was to be at 9:30 am, they waited until 1:30 to hear you say you needed more time? I pay taxes for what? Why did a family need to miss a day of work for something you already knew?
Apparently your docket was full before the case came up.
when the docket says 9;30, it should mean before lunch time. :banghead::banghead::banghead:
Welcome to DuPage! Never in a million years would anyone wish to rely on justice in this county. Our tax dollars are spent to pretend nothing happens.
