It's worth remembering there are two sets of probable cause here

One was in the affidavit supporting the initial search warrant, then another one set for the arrest affidavit.

I wonder if the search warrant affidavit will be disclosed?

I have two ways of looking at this.
1. RA is innocent and initially thinks he doesn;t need a lawyer. Then when the gravity of the situation hes in kicks in, he disengages completely.
2. RA has something very bad to hide and is expecting some other 'friends' to dig him out of the mess he's in.

Its probably neither of these :).

Maybe like you say, he gave up. It's possible he thought he would never be arrested after so long?

I do wonder if he was given up by family, or some other careless mistake.

I've been thinking about to the day the girls went missing and when the search roughly started and ended on the 13th. Do we know if they searched where the girls were discovered (the night before the girls were found), did they search that area on the 13th? It's hard to wrap my mind around their first search, which was around 5 to 6 hrs long and they were not found that night.
I'm not aware that they did search that specific area - I've certainly not read that anywhere - but I always got the impression from comments that it was kind of scaled back/called off due to the danger the terrain etc posed in the dark which makes sense.

Hey all. I have not been posting but am closely following. I know some think KK and TK are not involved other than the CSAM.

I think there has to be some involvement either directly or indirectly. The fact that they took off to Las Vegas and tried setting up alibis is a sign of guilty knowledge. Plus the phone reset of KK and his search history makes me think he knew what happened. I believe KKs lawyer had KK hold out until a better deal was on the table for him. Imo I feel KK got in over his head and did not know a murder would take place. I don't think LE/Pros. would offer a deal if he was directly involved in the murders. I don't know about TKs involvement if any other than CSAM but either TK or KK (or both) was at the cousins (name?) house the day of the murders so one or both were up and out of thier house before the murders. Thier phone auto logged into cousins wifi. Maybe KK/TK was facilitating a meet up for a SA. Imo maybe KK/TKs involvement was for film of that not knowing it would result in the deaths. Maybe RA was recognized by the girls and he felt he had to kill them. Mike P went to CVS often, I can see Libby going with him at times. So much to consider and this is all my opinion. I can wait for answers if it helps the case.

How many should KAK have? My brain has turned to mush trying to figure out what documents we're missing on him.

I always thought I saw a gun in BG’s jacket pocket JMO… but even if not, there was no question in my mind that he had rope sticking up out the collar. But now I realize the “rope” may’ve been bandana-type neckwear to hide his face, per the witness who saw him with it up.

In any case…. whether gun, rope, mask (remember this was before the pandemic), catfishing and/or stalking, & caught-on-tape abduction “down the hill,” hard to imagine he wasn’t there very specific trouble on his mind. Even if not quite premeditated murderous intent … premeditated felonious intent at least MOO
I'm pretty positive he had a gun under his jacket as the outline is clearly visible in the stills from Libby's video.

Sorry if this has been discussed. But this article says felony murder can be used against someone who is involved, but may not have committed the murders. I thought it was a charge of actual murder, but combined with other crimes at the same time like kidnapping, etc?

If you go directly by the Indiana Penal Code for the definition of murder, that's a slippery slope. Murder is only for one individual who intentionally kills another. However, IC 35-42-1 (2) noted below could leave some interpretation because if this was a pedo ring type of thing, anyone who helped RA lure the girls to the bridge that day may be guilty of one of those crimes which led to murder.

IC 35-42-1-1Murder

Sec. 1. A person who:

(1) knowingly or intentionally kills another human being;

(2) kills another human being while committing or attempting to commit arson, burglary, child molesting, consumer product tampering, criminal deviate conduct (under IC 35-42-4-2 before its repeal), kidnapping, rape, robbery, human trafficking, promotion of human trafficking, sexual trafficking of a minor, or carjacking (before its repeal);

It looks like a grab from a video feed. Maybe they do it remotely with a camera pointed at the prisoner.

Could TA ask for a public defender for now until he sets up a private attorney? Advantage/disadvantages to that?
Is this day 10 of the 20 day countdown? Surely, he's getting close to finding someone. JMO

I'm fairly certain he will have some type of representation before the hearing on the 22nd. Whether privately funded or publicly appointed.

It seems to me, that LE realized some time ago when they released the second sketch that they had been played a bit by someone. Thus the reason for the comments by LE “hiding in plain sight” “ you might be here with us today” “ we may have interviewed you, or someone close to you”. I applaud LE for their diligence, and May this case be closed, the right person or persons punished, and justice be granted to the families of Libby and Abby. Sadly, there will be no justice for these victims.

Is red for high risk? I was just thinking that might not be the best color choice for an entire prison population. JMO

I'm not really finding anything specific to Indiana.

I don't feel like they set him off with comments..I really think he came prepared and nothing they could say would prevent
him. I mean we can see the gun, we can see he has things in his coat...we can see he is not there to enjoy nature.
I agree 100%. In my opinion this was premeditated. Even if he is not connected to KAK, he was out "hunting" that day. It may have been connected to a shots, or not. Either way he had a plan that day.
