38,000 tips, expect more today
If you see something, say something, need the missing piece
Shows chart on a good tip, name, identifiers, last known address, frequent places, ties to Delphi
Don't do side by side photos
Still working on all leads, confident to get it solved
Thanks families

Sgt Riley, use email not phones
(Questions...can't hear, wish they would give them mics!)
Reward is still there
Hoping one day they can show their complete hand as technology gets better
Doesn't think it will take 30 yrs like April Tinsley
FBI has been a huge help
Forward info but don't do analogy
If you are watching, we are coming

Nothing new at all so far...

Are there any reporters Tweeting this? Can't hear any questions, only answers that they can't comment....

You would think by now during these press conferences that the people running them would have learned to always repeat the questions first before answering.

And yet it never happens. What is it going to take to educate any folks that run press conferences. Its so upsetting and such a simple thing that needs to happen.

Getting a non-answer to an unknown question is one of the most frustrating things. Grrrrrrrrr

It is very difficult to feel positive after watching the press conference. They are desperate for tips. I don’t know how much media coverage there is going to be since they have nothing new to add.

It made HLN which is a national news network. Hopefully other news organizations will pick it up and rerun it as they always do.

Exactly!!! Double grrrrrrrrr

I don’t understand why they didn’t put his photo and the sketch front and centre and give details about him and the time frame that day. How do they expect to get useful tips without making people aware of this information? Not everybody has watched previous press conferences or has prior knowledge about the case. I’m not criticising I just find it baffling.

Screenshot from live presser. What is good tip? They listed it out. They have had over 35,000 tips.

I took notes throughout the press conference. A summary of what they covered would be that this is not a closed case; everyone is completely dedicated to solving this case and they believe it will be solved; they need the public to keep sending tips, no matter how small; they can't comment on any specifics of the case because they must protect the integrity of the investigation.

Unfortunately, not one new piece of information was given. As other people said, they didn't even show the BG photo, the sketch, or play the audio clip.

They began the presser with a prayer asking for strength, answers and guidance.

They had representatives from state and local law enforcement and the FBI. The chief speaker was newly-elected Carroll County prosecutor Nicholas McLeland.

Some snips beyond the list of what makes a good tip that dixiegirl provided:

The case has affected the community in so many ways. Abby and Libby deserve justice.

LE is also still working on the unsolved case of 4 children killed by arson fire that occurred before Abby and Libby case.

Have received over 38,000 tips and LE follows up on all of them. They currently get about 12 tips per day, but they expect the presser will increase the volume of tips.

The FBI has brought extraordinary technology and resources to the investigation.

They asked that people quit doing side-by-side comparisons of the BG sketch and other people on social media. If you suspect something, send it to LE.

They prefer tips by email at abbyandlibbytip@cacoshrf.com. You can also call in a tip, although calls are less preferable to LE, at 847-459-5786.

There was a Q and A, but none of the questions were miked and the people answering didn't repeat the questions. Still, it was obvious by the answers that most questions were about specifics of the case. To protect the integrity of the one-day prosecution of this case, no answers were given to questions asking about case specifics.

"We don't believe this will be another April Tinsley case. We don't believe the family will be waiting for 30 years for answers."
