Found Deceased IN - Abigail (Abby) Williams, 13, & Liberty (Libby) German, 14, The Delphi Murders 13 Feb 2017 #143

Welcome back to the Delphi Murders discussion thread.

On the afternoon of Feb. 13th, 2017, best friends Abigail Williams and Liberty German were dropped off at a bridge in the town of Delphi. On Feb 14th their bodies were discovered around noon about 50 feet from the north bank of Deer Creek which is about 0.5 miles from the bridge.
The Sheriff's office gave a press conference on 4/22/19 and we have some solid information. Please take a look below

I’m just catching up with everything the last few days. The police soundbites are basically the same as they have always been but just said in a roundabout way - “Might be today. Might be tomorrow.” For me that makes me think they are no closer, at present, to a resolution on this unfortunately.

The new video info is interesting though, I always had it in my mind for whatever reason that “Guys, down the hill” was near the beginning of the video, so it would make you think there is more video of BG approaching Abby and Libby available but there’s obviously reasons we haven’t seen it.

There was clearly something about him that spooked them, that resulted in Libby starting a video recording. I wouldn’t be surprised if they passed him heading towards the bridge, maybe a comment or look was passed between them at that time, and when they realised he had followed them onto the bridge the alarm bells started going off for them.

Chilling to think about, it always is.

The trails were a popular hangout for teens and preteens.

According to Abby’s mom, Abby wasn’t allowed to walk the bridge so she said that was the first time she was on the bridge.

"It just amazes me that she was able to think of that at that moment.


"I don’t know where the case would be if we didn't have that video," she added.

"I think that's one thing that intrigues people [about the case] to continue to look at it."

Today is the first time I have imagined them meeting BG on the bridge.

Picture: they've made it almost all the way across, and he enters toward them. That would be odd enough. Maybe he says something, maybe he says seeya later. Just something unnerving. What if, when Libby starts recording, he's actually walking away from them, toward the far end of the bridge. But he turns around, where the released clip begins. Libby conveys something to Abby maybe with just her eyes, leading Abby to conclude that BG is now behind her.

I'm convinced the girls weren't expecting to meet anyone that day, but BG was expecting them.

I am not in favor of them crossing on the bridge only because I don't think the girls would have continued in the direction if someone came toward them on the other side. I think it would have not felt safe enough do that. But we truly don't know. I suspect that he was sitting at the north end. Under the google reviews of the trail there is a review with a photo of a bench. I was wondering where that bench is located.

When listening to KAKs voice, for the first time I was able to imagine that BG’s voice can belong to a younger guy and not an older. I Think KAKs voice resembles BGs in the audio, however perhaps not to the extend that KAK is BG, but KAK is a younger guy as well, and if I close my eyes and listen to KAKs voice I picture him being an older guy. So I can definately see now that BGs voice could belong to a younger guy.
Hope it makes sense. I am not saying that KAK is BG, more that KAK may also sound older than what he is, when you listen to his voice.

Caveat being that at this point my brain has probably overlapped some facts vs. theory in this case.

If DTH was at the end, then why did the recording stop? Timed out, told to stop recording?

We were told that "investigators believe the clip was recorded as criminal behavior was about to occur."
