We had made plans long ago to meet up Saturday near Redtop Mtn because I'm going up to his neighborhood for a wedding this weekend. We were going to meet afters years chatting.

Maybe that pic is a fake - like a pic of an undercover officer to get the real perp thrown off track. Does LE ever do things like that?

Going through Liberty's face book. She looks so much like her sisters and mother. How sad. These girls had age appropriate fb and both looked like regular, sweet kids. No makeup, no fake nails or skimpy clothing. I'm really not getting a catfishing vibe here. I'm getting a feeling this one will hit close to home and be really hard on this small community.

This is awful beyond belief.

Outwardly, the person of interest seems dressed like a local ( he is wearing arguably farm clothes or work clothes) and the area has working farms and probably also has agricultural based business like irrigation supply, grain elevators, and tractor dealers.

At the same time, he looks over dressed for warmth as I dont think it has been bitterly cold. For example, he seem to be wearing a jacket, a sweatshirt, a flannel shirt, and possibly an additional shirt or some sort. All of this is in addition to thick hat that seems to have ear flaps.

Though his clothing could imply somebody working in construction that keeps layered clothing and either adds or removes clothing depending on the weather, it could also imply a drifter who wears his entire wardrobe. A construction worker would probably just keep the extra clothes in his car or truck. A drifter, however, would not have this option.

Does anybody know how cold it was that day?

I have several thoughts on this case.

The thing that jumps out at me the most is that the location that the bodies were found looks to be so close to multiple houses. I find it odd that the girls (whether alive or dead at the time) were taken through a more remote area, only to be left so close to those houses. I think that this is either someone local who had intimate knowledge of the property on which they were found, or it was not a local and they are incredibly lucky that nobody heard or saw anything.

If they were taken from the vicinity of the trail itself, it is incredible that this happened in broad daylight on a trail that seems to be well used. If the man in the pictures turns out to be the murderer, he saw other people on the trail that day- knew that there were others people nearby- and still managed to subdue and murder two girls. My logic says that they must have been lured away from the trail, but the focus on the trail itself really seems to indicate that LE feels that whatever happened started on or in close proximity to the trail.

It's hard to go through 60 pages of yes and no, but has anyone looked at this long list of people at county sex registry? It's around 40, one is in violation and around 10 work at a meat processing plant which I back searched the work address after seeing multiples reporting the same address. Someone on Reddit suggested townsfolk are talking about seeing a very heinous crime, which would match a profile for a desensitized meat packer. Also read about fathers obit (of pedo in violation) and he was a huge star wars fan. If you dig into profile of some killers (serial) you'll find this as normal for a father or individual.

yes many members have suggested this. Seems possible if not probable.

In the 16 minute video press conference on this page, I just don't get any indication that they are concerned with the public using these trails. Comments such as "we will just be more vigilant" do not indicate a murderer is out there to fear. Am I the only one concerned with what seems a lack of urgency?
