Can we get some consensus here?

1) So, is the consensus that he cornered them on the south side of the creek and the hill 1/32nd of a mile away he told them to go down is on that side? Or is the consensus that they were marched back across the bridge and walked to the right about 1/8 of a mile then went down the hill below the cemetery?

2) Was the video that they captured the two still photos of the suspect the only video..that she just kept running? Or was there another video?

I guess I need to re-read the press conference transcript. They were discussing the PC in that article I posted and I thought that the question posed may have been once they opened up to questions...however I could very well be wrong. I've read so many articles and transcripts that it's possible I crossed my wires. I'll review again and apologies if I caused any frustration for you - although by listening it again to its entirety did you hear anything that stood out to you? Regardless Carter said it...which still bugs st me.
I hope I am understanding this exchange regarding the possibility of a serial killer...

During the big press conference, FBI assistant special agent Masser said working with the FBI's behavioral analysis division the crimes do not appear to the work of a serial killer.

😠Yet there will be 100 new posts with a serial killer angle.

....😭😭😭 but Ma! I don't wanna go to the time out corner, just statin' facts.

#1 - doesn't matter to me because knowing this information will not help find the killer.

#2 - I believe there is more, but unless more is released, at this point it also doesn't matter to me because it will not help find her killer.

I thought it was 2:07 and 2:30?
This was speculated due to the "time last seen" on the billboards, flyers. I don't think we actually have an official answer...moo

I'm wondering if the unsub speaking was from audio, not a video, thus them insinuating it could be different people. Moo

Yes I believe his ear is clearly visible when zoomed in, that was why I thought he has the newsboy cap on rather than the hoodie or ear flap hat. Just IMO though.

I also think it's a plastic sack handle in his jacket.

I googled "plastic sack handles" - and I didn't find a single one with this shape.

Do you have a link to his serial killer comment? I don't remember ever hearing that.

Seems more and more to me, that he possibly had a car down there and took them off property. How in the world else does no one hear anything or see anything at all. Thats the only explanation I can come up with. Like most have said this isnt really a huge spread out area. If they tried to get away, or even when the realized what he was doing they wouldnt have just been silent. Someone would have heard something, People were there around the time this occurred. It would take some amount of time and doing to march them across a river and kill both of them with no noise whatsoever. JMO of course!

Or they may never release it. In the Lyric & Lizzy case, they never even released COD and it's been 5 years.

With the bodies being found 5 months after they went missing out in the elements, from july 13th to dec 5 i can understand why the cause of death would be dificult, not to be graphic but if the skulls had bullet holes or there was a rope tied tight around their necks then it would be easy. Jmo these girls were found about 20 hrs after going missing. Jmo

I do know that he tweeted this morning that there is no KNOWN connection to a SK. I'll find it.

No disrespect intended but you are looking at a railroad tie. There is not a person standing there. It's simply the grain of the wood.

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

agreed! These are several inches thick and you are seeing the railroad tie... not the ground... IMO

Yes sorry just thought it might be relevant

No worries, was the one you just posted the one you meant? IMO that doesn't really say anything about there being a serial killer involved or not.

They may still have that on the fb page to deter and at one point it was the case when written . At one point I believe Indiana had a blanket law ... no sm sites for RSO. You can read article below which is current

https://www.google.com/amp/www.cbsn...nders-on-facebook-supreme-court-to-weigh-law/

FB has it's own TOS, which are enforceable. The courts are deciding if offenders are allowed on media sites in general. Even if they say, 'yes, it's allowed', individual SM entities can still deny accounts. Kind of like dating sites that run background checks before allowing a person to sign up. After the ruling, FB still has every right to deny a RsO an account, and would, IMO, possibly be sued if a crime happened if a RsO used FB to find and groom victims. Enforcing is harder for a myriad of reasons.

I agree with you 100%. No "known" can conjure up anything

Based on the videos I've seen it looks like the road goes under the South East side of the bridge closer to where Libby and Abby met up with BG.

I've always struggled with how BG managed to lay in wait for the girls (whether he knew of them, knew them or didn't know them at all) and then managed to get control of Abby and Libby and get them down a hill, across a creek, and up the other side ( approx 200-300 yards in total) without anyone seeing them. Not impossible but certainly a lot of risk of losing control of the girls or being seen. If however, he had parked on the private road below the SE end of the bridge he could see the girls crossing the bridge and have time to get on the bridge and intercept. He may have walked by them and the turned around and came back towards the girl (this is when Libby takes the picture because she is concerned when he turns back around toward them) and takes control, walks off the SE end of the bridge to the closed trail and "...down the hill". Getting the girls to a waiting car and off the property is a much easier and less risky scenario than the creek scenario and explains the cell pings across town (not sure if this is verified). He then brings the girls back to the back of the cemetary after the fact. Obviously, JMO!

IMO - This was a crime of opportunity. He took a huge risk. Just like the video, BG escorted them down the hill, but still being visible from the bridge, and private drive he forced them across the creek and into better cover. His clothes were soaked, so he must have had his car close or been within walking distance of his house. The fact he left the phones, and tossed some clothes in the water knowing it could go down stream back to the bridge tells me it was opportunistic planning, and he has a low level of education. More than likely he has priors.
