Trail officials say they are adding cameras today on the trails inside of canal park.

I almost wish they weren't announcing it in case the perp "revisits."

Woman who lives near trail near monon high bridge in Delphi says they often see cars parked in lot at 10&11 at night.

There is a video with the story---at the 2:00 mark the reporter talks about the searcher who found them seeing obvious signs of foul play.

Wouldn't two ,not too long ago healthy and vibrant ,teenage girls being found deceased near a river be signs of foul play anyway ?

I do however think BG has a gun concealed in his jacket. I do doubt this was used except to make the girls do as he instructed.
Too loud...

I have read things that would explain the very obvious signs of foul play though (if they are true).

How close were they to RL property? Perhaps the killer/s knew he was not home at this point?

:tyou: And, a mighty fine opinion you do possess, NIN. Bravo! :loveyou:

Thank you for blowing this case wide open while I was online. I am humbled yet my faith fills me with gladness. Maybe the nightmares won't haunt tonight.

Liberty and Abigail thank you, and so do I. The truth will be told. They deserve for the world to know what BG is capable of doing to young girls.
This case was "blown wide open" with this same exact fanny pack theory. Not sure why it's only ok now, however alot of really good sleuths did this work and credit should go to them as well. Otherwise it's just not fair. JMO IMO MOO.

Not sure what I can or want to say about the condition of the bodies. I'm understanding "obvious signs" as just that...I think all our imaginations are sufficient to supply the possible details.

I also don't believe a gun was fired but I do believe bridge guy has one in his right pocket (indicating left handed -- to me).

As to location, I'm not comfortable saying how far the house was from where the bodies were located.

I read the article. It did not have a video with it of the news story. I did not see anything said about a neighbor noticing foul play.

There is a video. At 1:50 in the video - RL SAYS the volunteer searcher is his neighbor.

My thinking is that even is he is local, he probably flee the city and hide in a different states or cities right now.

Am I missing something? When was this case blown wide open and how?

http://fox59.com/2017/03/13/police-...est-a-month-into-delphi-murder-investigation/

To me, this statement is telling. It seems that they are looking for a very specific piece of information and I don't know what that could be, beyond a confession.

If they don't have "the" tip after a month and 13,000 tips, a photo, a voice, 6,000 billboards then I losing faith that they will get it.

I am disappointed that they didn't come out and say RL has nothing to do with the murders as they did for the first guy.

From the article:
"Indiana State Police Superintendent Doug Carter told FOX59 News that he thinks the clue to solve the murders of Abigail Williams and Liberty German is not yet among the more than 13,000 tips that an FBI database sifts through around the clock in order to give Delphi investigators a solid lead in the hunt for their suspect."

Something I always keep in the back of my head when reading 'quotes' from police is that they tend to only release (say) what they want the public to know or think. If he said, "I think we have the golden clue", then that might put people off sending in more tips.

Also, when speaking for publication, police are also aware that the killer is likely to be taking an interest in every news article. They sometimes only say what they want the killer to know or think.

Bottom line: I wouldn't be too disheartened by the statement.

I noticed one other interesting thing at that point--RL mentions that his neighbor was with another searcher when the bodies were found.

RBBM

Yes, one would generally conclude foul play if two children were found dead in the woods, unless it was believed to be an accident or double suicide or murder-suicide, or accidental drowning, or death from hypothermia (exposure), which it obviously wasn't.

For example, if it appeared that the girls had fallen from the bridge or from a tree or something, that wouldn't necessarily show signs of foul play.

I think it was probably really evident right away that these girls were murdered and that there was no other possible explanation for their deaths.

Also note that it is illegal for NSA or CIA to be surveilling US citizens in the US - that is under FBI's jurisdiction and requires warrants.

Google smart TVs and smart phones. You are in for a shock.

Agreed. I personally don't think geocaching has a thing to do with this, but folks seem curious about how it works, which I get. I'm also one of the non creative sorts who can't see a logo or even a fanny pack at all no matter how I look at the photos.

Hopefully soon we'll either see an arrest or at least a bit more info to discuss.

Maybe you don't see a logo because there isn't a logo there.

You can't blow up a photo that much an expect to see a clearer image. It's imposeible with a raster (bitmap) picture. Unless someone can provide a link proving otherwise, I won't buy into it. jmo

Sounds to me just from reading that article that they have an idea who it could be (but they're waiting for just the right tip). If they are waiting for "just the right tip" could it be they are seeking a tip wherein someone has an article of clothing he's shown wearing, a hat, a pouch? Just pondering.....

It looks like from what people are saying that bridge guy was really into it..some say they think they see GPS outline in pic...some say he had geocaching gear on such as fanny pack and maybe shirt. I was thinking they need to look at someone like this maybe he is someone that takes care of a site in area where people collect items...

He could be a host or have a location...

There may or may not be a logo there, and they may or may not have been geocaching.

Most people who geocache, though, don't use official "gear" with "logos" on it. It's not a necessary part of the hobby by a long shot.

Beck said Libby's grandfather Mike Patty stopped in earlier in the day to say thank-you.

"The girls' families is the ones that's giving us, the rest of us strength to pick up every day and go on, seeing how strong they are," said Beck of the visit.

Patty spoke with Eyewitness News Friday, saying he was encouraged by the tips that have come in to investigators.

"Truly looking for that single tip that really breaks this case wide open and gives the investigators what they need," said Patty.
