This report goes way back to Feb 28th. So the first two SWs publicized "were not all that we knew about".

"It's widely reported, for example, that two search warrants have been executed in the investigation — one west of Delphi two weeks ago and another on Saturday in Peru. The warrants did not produce a suspect in the girls' slaying, and no one has been arrested, Indiana State Police Sgt. Tony Slocum said.

"I don't have an exact number, but it’s more than the two you know about,” he said. “We actually made arrests as we’re investigating this case.”

But the arrests are not related to the killings.

“If we come across a suspect and/or witness — or anybody — during this investigation, and we find out they’re wanted on a warrant for some other activity that has nothing to do with the double homicide, we can’t turn a blind eye to that. So we’ve made arrests,” he said.

Investigators have spoken to hundreds of possible witnesses and suspects in this case, and they will continue to talk with people until the case is over, he said. Those conversations with investigators should not be misconstrued as the person being a suspect or person of interest, Slocum cautioned, noting that social media posts have made wild allegations about people in the community."

Those boots look more like the type of boot RL was wearing and not what BG was wearing on the bridge. Is there someone we don't know about?

I recently also read this statistic. If you want to commit a murder...now is the time. Doesn't that sound odd? But it's actually true based on stats.

It is true but the number of murders declined also -- so fewer solved of fewer committed. Why?

The statistics would be more meaningful if they were broken down State by state or by top 10 cities. But just guessing, the growth organized crime and gang wars are responsible for a portion of the increase.

Who was the young boy in your class that was bullied, humiliated, made fun of, isolated and left out of all social events? Also did he like to set things on fire, was cruel to animals and possibly a bed wetter past the age of 5? BG may have been this boy in Delphi or some other nearby town. The fire in Flora, 4 young girls and the murders of AW and LG.

If BG is in the age range of 30-40 this would put him in a graduating class of 1995 to 2010. I did not find any school connection between LG and AW's Mothers with the Mother of the Flora fire who lost her 4 daughters.


Martin Bryant - As an angelic-looking child, Martin Bryant was already displaying the telltale behavioural signs of a future killer.
For one, he had an obsession with fire.
Another problematic behaviour Bryant displayed was cruelty to animals. With his air rifle, Bryant loved to shoot birds and other fauna near his Tasmanian home and then delight in watching them die and pumping extra slugs into their bodies.


The Co-ed butcher, Edmund Kemper - American serial killer, necrophile and suspected cannibal who abducted and murdered seven college girls began torturing cats around the beginning of his adolescence.


BTK killer, Dennis Rader - He discovered as a child that he enjoyed binding, torturing, and killing by experimenting on animals.


Milwaukee cannibal, Jeffrey Dahmer - Jeffrey Dahmer killed 17 young men and boys, beginning at the age of 18.
But he had started abusing animals aged ten, and his fascination with mounting and keeping body parts began with animals.


Son of Sam, David Berkowitz - As a child, Berkowitz had been a deeply disturbed firesetter and animal torturer. Adopted out by his birth mother, he began stealing and lighting fires at a young age. He is believed to have set around 1400 fires. He began to torture animals at the age of ten. By 17 he had started to commit violent crimes, attacking young female victims with a hunting knife.

Wow! Great article. Never saw that explained before! BG probably had his in a vest under that jacket. Hope they find his "kit" when they search his home and vehicle.

OT-ish, I had a crime show on a while ago today, and the detective was talking about how when they found the real killer of a young girl, they did not release another possible suspect who was in jail, because he was being charged with lying to police, not the murder. So even though he had been arrested in connection with the murder, he did not do it, but also did not get out of jail. Anyway...reminded me of RL. Carry on.

One of the LE officers said they had interviewed suspects "coast to coast" but didn't mention any search warrants or the results of those interviews yet.

I don't have a clear theory on how they got to the location where the bodies were found, but I do believe they were killed there. moo

LE very quiet the last few weeks. Hope this means they are closing in on the killer. Praying for the girls families every day. An update from LE would be welcome but the media is being patient too it seems along with the families who have expressed their confidence that the killer will be found. LE probably told media they will get the exclusive after the families are notified first.

I think this case will make a great case study for Criminologists, Psychologists and Psychiatrists along with Sociologists when all the facts are in. It will be interesting to see if he is a copycat killer or a new breed of murderer.

I also saw something on TV in the middle of a night : One of the crime specialists said a SK mostly always would have a past filled with animal cruelty because they are already violent but for years don't dare to try their violence on human beings. Sometime, one day they would start to torment and kill also humans.
