That was a rumor and never reported in MSM, so is not part of the discussion here.

I dont think it's ever been reported in MSM that BG was homeless ( or has it? ) but we have discussed it as opinion for many months.

I would do an assesment. My grandmother was a cop..she would say quickly access..it there a rock or something i could use as a weapon, does he have physical control over me or just my friend. how far to the nearest people?

then if I

did not think I had a chance to attack , assail or, rescue my friend with a rock a board or nearby opportunity
If I was not restrained and knew the way to the nearest open biz, house or street..I would RUN LIKE BLOODY HELL.

Wouldn't LE have some obligation to steer public scrutiny AWAY from DN, if they thought him not involved? Why SO tight-lipped ... do THEY even know yet???

I’m not waiting and quiet a few are not either. We just are not posting everyday. LE already stated in an interview they don’t see much of a connection more or less with DN he’s being treated the same as many poi that came in front of them.

I have been absent for the better part of a day and have seen some interesting posts re: theories and feel I need to qualify my impression of homelessness. Homeless people, first and foremost and due to limited access, have poor hygiene. So the pic of BG does not convey MY impression of homelessness. He did not look 'dirty' and that is why my answer to the survey said I believed BG was not homeless.

There is a good probability that DN is BG, IMO...I am now asking this because there are no other POI that we are aware of? Possibly. I have come to the conclusion that I am now waffling on DN simply because LE has not provided us with further information. Very upsetting to me if he is not BG. IMOO

Months ago when it came out that one of the girls didn't leave the other or something to that general effect, I asked my daughters separately what they would do and without any hesitation whatsoever they each emphatically said they would NOT leave the other. I said "but you might be able to get help" and "the experts say you should run if you can" and "but you'll both get killed" and whatnot they didn't even consider for a second that they would leave the other. No matter my presentation to them (separately and then together) they insisted they would never, under any circumstances, leave the other. This messes with me and gives me such conflicting feelings.

This had me re-assessing my initial answer: RUN! Then I remembered actually telling my girls when they were 12-ish (twins) you NEVER leave your sister...I am aghast that I initially thought I would run myself but know there is a high probability that I would not...possibly thinking 'we' would be able to navigate our way out. That, however, is an ADULT process and these girls were not and were BEST friends. I would have never left my wing man at that age.

Ty for finding this news! So glad this woman managed to get away and call LE. Hopefully, in addition to being able to describe assailant's clothes, she was also able to describe his sz, age, features, Etc.

At the very least, we need to get some of these dangerous creeps behind bars !!

You're welcome foxbluff. I am glad she escaped as well. I am also curious about additional details like size, age, and voice. A few details that I think make this development relevant to Delphi:

Attack around 3 pm
On a trail with bridge
Similar clothing
Gun ( I think that's how BG got the girls down the hill)
Camo Mask ( this guy knows his face is plastered all over Indiana)
Proximity to Delphi

There are several comments on Bedford PD FB page vouching for the credibility of the witness as well.

For what it's worth...I think it is time to move on from Daniel Nations. IMO

After watching the many vids on YouTube of people actually going to the bridge and walking across it, it is hard to imagine anyone walking across it without looking down. The spaces between the planks are wider than you expect, and there is nothing to hold on to- anyone would look like they had a limp navigating it. Also, it’s very high up.

All that to say, this was a determined suspect. But why? The motive has remained elusive.

Hope interest in these two girls continues, and hope, also, the right person with the right idea helps, too.

I agree... I know it has been pointed out the distance between the crimes... two hours, maybe? May be too far away. All the same, this you are pointing out is a lead. Dots need to be connected and I don’t think you are overthinking it.

Not ruling DN out. IMO he is not BG. I am very interested in this case but weary of the obsession with DN and eager to explore new leads.
