That's incorrect. He is in Teller county jail now?? Or he was until this morning at least. He's been in Teller several times.

The district 4, both Teller and EL Paso Counties, court is in El Paso Co and I can assure you he has been at CJC in El Paso Co since about a week after he was arrested regardless of what the Teller Co inmate website says. Teller Co doesn't have the resources to hold and transport inmates like this around. They probably have trouble keeping their website records up to date also.

Don, nowhere near unfortunately, not yet anyway, but maybe one step closer getting a serial offender off the streets for a few years while LE concentrate on nailing it hopefully. Looks like a duck.....

The Dr Phil interview has really helped get more discussion on this case and at least for me I am learning new details by going back through articles.

One is the cell phone appears to have been definitely found near the bodies where they were killed. I was not sure about that till I saw this.

And if we take this part literally then it appears the sketch was developed by multiple witnesses of the perp. So more than one person saw him that day.

"Sgt. Holeman tells us several people have come forward and said they saw the killer walking on the trails the day Abby and Libby were killed. Those people helped develop a composite sketch that was released last month."

I still disagree with them that they cant release more info and there are people that are waiting to come rushing to them with false confessions though. I mean really, how often does that really happen. Is that a valid fear or just following standard procedures. I just dont buy that. I think benefits far outweigh negatives in releasing whatever they can to help get this guy off the streets.
More lives are in danger until he is arrested.

How could he serve in the Marines if he had a leg that was shorter and caused a noticeable limp?

Moot point, since, if they observed a limp, I doubt they’d keep that detail out of the suspect’s description from the beginning. Besides, walking on that particular bridge (with its missing or dilapidated boards), a person’s normal gait would be altered. A video clip would be of limited value.

Wonder why Carter mentioned gait then. I haven't heard the show but am just going by what has been posted on here.

Could someone post what LE said on the Dr Phil show about gait?

If BG is DN indeed and this man on bridge "participated in the murder" as worded by LE early on in the investigation, then maybe they move on to find the other perp who participated and murdered at the end.

Regarding BG’s gait and releasing further audio from Libby’s phone:

IIRC correctly during the image discussions I referenced earlier, didn’t someone compare the boards on the bridge in the photos to video footage retracing Abby and Libby’s hike and reach a conclusion as to what order the frames were in the video?

After 76 threads I think I may be imagining things!

In addition to not knowing the content of the audio we also do not know the quality of the audio. If Libby was walking or running, or it was windy, or the phone was in a pocket, or the terrain they were traveling made noise (crunching leaves, snapping twigs, splashing water, etc) the audio quality will not be as good as if the phone were stationary on a calm day without material or other noises covering or interfering with the microphone. There may not be many, if any, other words that are clear enough to release because everything else is garbled.

The above is JMO, but it occurred to me because I’ve been outside on a windy day talking on my cell and the other person couldn’t hear me well because the microphone/mouthpiece was picking up the wind and distorting what was heard in the other phone. I’m assuming audio would be affected like my phone call was because the microphone and mouthpiece are the same piece of equipment on a phone.

Yes the order is known using the boards. It was simple enough and a fact without a doubt.

TY for the update. So he's definitely been offered a plea deal. Also the article mentions they were squatting at a popular recreation area and the name Front Range is mentioned. No change on the TW or Delphi case by the look of it.
