Yall. He would have to be doing some seriously fast ninja moves to change his hoodie and get his hands back in the same place in 2 frames. I think it is much more reasonable to assume the hoodie is still on but the difference in light just changed the appearance in the frame. I bet in the next 2 frames it would reappear.

In the frame by frame it makes it look like he is making a turn to me. He seems to be leaning too far to the left (if you were behind him) to be walking straight.
Still looks and sounds (based on what the colour science guy said) like clipping to me. Not sure what "actual fine color detail differences" means. I see clipping a LOT. It's ugly.
What I meant by "fine color differences" was whether its small spatial scale color difference.
Plotting an x-profile of the RGB and YCbCr values to convince myself. I agree with both you and my office neighbor.
The red line shows the image row I chose to plot values for, going right through the spot on BG's right hand (maybe a watch).
The little dark dot in the Cr image shows up as a small dip in the Cr plotted curve around sample 48. The RGB line profiles also show what looks like clipping, like you said.
For everyone other than Billy Mabou, sorry for the gory detail! Sometimes it's necessary to understand what I'm looking at.
I agree. He is either
1.) turning.
2.) walking carefully, possibly avoiding hole/obstacle.
Or...
3.) about to sprint.

Correctly if I am wrong...Agreed, looks like he was about to strike. MOO is he could have closed the distance in 5-6 seconds.
To me it seems like a dirty blonde color, and I believe it is a handlebar type mustache. He almost looks like he's wearing a windbreaker over a jacket. Why does the mustache appear so dark in two of the images and either non-existent or light in the other (more widely distributed) image? Which do you think is the most accurate representation of BG's face? Does he have a mustache at all? If so, is it dark or light?

Nice. That seems more fittin w other two imo. What's the green patch on the hood of hoodie( for whoever else sees hoodie now) doesn't match background leafage to me personally.

Are you Surre? I thought it was a gremlin..🤔BBM
It's obviously a parrot on his shoulder.

I love so much that no matter what is presented in life, someone legitimately knows a whole lot about it. It makes me smile to be around people and taught by people who are truly knowledgeable. Most of us go through life living and learning on the surface. When a person has the chance to use deep knowledge for something other than their job, I always take notice and feel honored to watch. Thanks for sharing your knowledge you might not show non-work people too often. What I meant by "fine color differences" was whether its small spatial scale color difference.

I think for the same reason people think his hoodie disappears. It is a different angle the phone caught the light. His hoodie, mustache, shirt tails, jeans and shoes all look like a different color than the first 2. So we have 2 choices- the hoodie was removed, he dyed his stache, and changed his clothes or the light makes it look different. I'm going to go with b. Even though many people prefer aspects of a.Why does the mustache appear so dark in two of the images and either non-existent or light in the other (more widely distributed) image? I own an Etsy shop. I take product pics on my phone. I take about 10 pics barely changing my phone angle because the light looks totally different. Try it with your phones! Take some pics while turning it slightly and watch the difference. I think Libby just moved her phone and the sun was caught differently. I'm ok if people don't agree. But it seems so logical to me that I can't believe it's still such a topic so long into this case.
Hope this doesn't sound rude cause its really typed with no rude undertones. I'm typing on my phone and I tend to shorten things which sometimes sound snippy. I hate typing on the phone
