Police: Katelyn Wolfe Murder Suspects Wanted to Know What It Felt Like to Kill.

Two childhood best friends killed teenager Katelyn Wolfe for a thrill and then bound her body, attached it to a weight and threw it into a Sullivan, Ind., lake, according to court documents released today.

God help us all. :stormingmad:

Also from this link

"On June 9, Crosley's wife told authorities she had gone to rural areas to look for Wolfe and saw a shoe floating in a lake, according to the affidavit. The next day, a dive team searched the area and found Wolfe's body in the lake."

Does that mean it was actually one of the killer's wife that alerted police to the potential whereabouts of Katelyn's body?!

Yes. She led them to the shoe. I can't tell if that is just one HUGE coincidence or what, but if it is, I feel incredibly sorry for her. She just had his baby and married him. I can't imagine how she is coping with all of this, especially if she read the affidavit. Ugh.

I read some of that on another news article, but I wondered why SHE was out looking for Katelyn. And why she would go to one her husband's "haunts" to look. I don't know if he told her anything or if she guessed??
Just seems if you wanted to go look for a missing person, you would go to where they were last seen, not in another town in a lake. Anybody know what she knew or how?

I know this is a late response to your question/post. I was also wondering why she was looking? Where was her husband and baby when she was out searching? Did she till him she was going to go look for Katelyn? I am just having trouble understanding why she thought to even GO to that place that Katelyn was thrown into the water? I just don't get it. On another note though, I am glad she came forward instead of trying to cover for her man, as we here at WS see time and time again. I suppose she could of stayed silent on the shoe and backed up an alibi for him. I am glad she has more sense than that.

Poor Katelyn, RIP :(

At the conclusion of the hearing, Crosley was remanded back to the custody of a Greene County Sheriff's deputy but instead of following the deputy's order to leave the courtroom for the trip back to the Greene County Jail, Crosley turned and attempted to speak to the Wolfe family. The order was repeated twice before Crosley walked in the direction of the door.

Crosley is facing two criminal cases. In one, she is accused of not telling the truth and attempting to mislead officers investigating the death of Katelyn Wolfe last June.

81 years for Buskirk:

http://www.wbiw.com/local/archive/2014/03/jordan-buskirk-sentenced-to-81-in-prison.php

-Greene County Prosecutor Jarrod Holtsclaw asked Judge Dena Martin Tuesday morning to sentence Jordan Buskirk to the maximum penalty for his part in killing 19-year-old Katelyn Wolfe.

Superior Judge Martin did just that...

Two weeks ago, Buskirk's partner in crime, 26-year-old Randal Crosley of Jasonville was sentenced to 81 years for the murder and other charges.

I thought I'd post this because it's more detailed than the others I posted. It's long, but quotes from the family, judge, offender's family, and the offender:

I pray for you guys every night,” he said. “I deserve to be punished. I not only destroyed your family, I destroyed my family, too. I can’t bring her back. I wish I could.”

Interesting, as well:

****

This ordeal is over (for most).

I hope the remorse is real and given that it's after sentencing, I tend to think that it may be . :(
So sad.

So evil. How can you sit around with your buddy and come up with an idea to murder someone. Lives ruin. They are so stupid. Kate gosh I feel so sad. To trust friends and then get betrayed. arghh

http://wthitv.com/2014/06/06/tamera-crosley-sentenced-to-6-months/

Tamera Crosley, the wife of Randal Crosley, has received a sentence of one year in the Greene County jail as part of a plea agreement.

This comes on the one year anniversary of Katelyn Wolfe’s parents reporting her missing.

Police questioned Tamera Crosley following the incident. As a part of her plea agreement, she was be required to give police a truthful account on the recovery efforts of Katelyn Wolfe’s body.

These "men" are disgusting! I still don't understand what Crosley's wife did. In the beginning it seemed she helped, but then she was charged? What did she do?

http://www.newsbarb.com/2014/06/06/tamera-crosley-pleads-guilty-conspiracy-commit-theft-false-informing/

In January of this year, Crosley was charged with obstruction of justice, a class D felony, two counts of false informing, class B misdemeanors, and conspiracy to commit theft, a class D felony. The charges stemmed from two separate criminal cases...

Crosley admitted that she was guilty of giving false information in the investigation of the disappearance of Katelyn Wolfe on June 7 of last year, when she told Goodman that she had no knowledge of her husband being involved in or dealing drugs.
