As 2016 comes to a close, I can't help but think about her. I moved away from Indiana just over 3 years ago, but I always keep track of what goes on at home. There is a trend I don't like. Someone mentioned a few posts back about a case similar. Well, there are apparently FOUR cases that are similar to set off my senses. All had their cars left behind, with personal items in them and a flat tire.

I am placing the link here. This case is 18 months cold now and I know it doesn't sound good at all. But she needs to be brought home one way or another.

Angie has gone missing from Indy too, Larissa and Angie look quite similar, both were dancers.

I've seen this and kept track of this pattern also. I've often wondered if these women weren't stalked, and their cars tinkered with in a fashion that would compromise them in so many miles/after a certain distance.
Whatever happened, yes, they need brought home.

I just had a tab open about Angie, I was coming to add her to the list.
I don't like the smell of this at all.
The police don't SEEM to treat strippers the same as soccer moms when they go missing. :(
(Notice I said seem. No accusation making, observation making only. Sure got reamed for not emphasizing that word before ;) )

I agree
Strippers, escorts, prostitutes.
IMO are NOT given the same attention & consideration as a typical " soccer mom"

I agree, both cases have quite a bit of evidence that police haven't shared with the public as well. There are video tapes, cars, witnesses etc. It definitely seems like there's no urgency in either case, and little to no additional info or updates since the initial days they went missing. Could it be an internal investigation? Or is one needed? I guess I feel like the public can't help if we don't know what is going on, and they don't seem to want info from the public.

Speaking of police and their attitude toward this profession.
Takes me back to 1995 when I was married to my first very controlling, alcoholic husband.
Everything we ever had was his and he knew it. He came from money.
He had always told me if I left, I would have nothing., be nothing.
I always knew if I were to ever leave and support myself and my daughter..hell, even just to get enough to get out, I would strip.
I was young, beautiful, ambitious, and extremely head strong.
A few fights later, another chase through the woods behind our house with a knife, and that's just what I did.
Time went on and one night as I was dancing I look up to see my soon to be ex, drinking a beer. I'm sure he expected me to freak out but instead, I dropped my dress & kept dancing.
My gf & I were escorted to her car after work as we expected him to cause trouble.
5 minutes into our drive home he tried running us off of the road. This happened 3 times until we stopped at a 24 hour station and dialed 911.
A sheriff came and interviewed both my ex, and took our side of the story.
When he was finished ( mind you my ex had empty beer cans in his vehicle and was clearly wasted! ) he looked at me and said " sweetheart, your husband is obviously having a tough time with your new " career choice " and you need not be so hard on him. He'll go home and sleep it off " as he let my drunk soon to be ex husband drive home wasted.
It's been my experience that this choice of work is not taken seriously at all.

I'm so sorry you had to deal with this! But, good for you to get away!!
I think Larissa would have been able to wipe her slate clean once the country saw her perform on American Idol.
She's truly vocally-talented! I hate that she never got her shot. I hate that her son will never enjoy the benefits he deserves

I've been an advocate for domestic violence and missing persons long before I came here to WS.
It kills me when I think of a child ( age irrelevant ) that must live with the fact of not knowing WHERE their mother or father is in this world. Are they alive or dead? Will I ever see them again? Do they think of me as often as I think of them? ( tears, oh boy ) The milestones & life events that were stolen, from parent & child.
It hurts my heart like nothing else just to think about it, I can't imagine living it.

This is a bit off topic, yet I found myself thinking yet again about this.
I thought about it & got a bit pissed off again because for the life of me there are times I just don't get people...

I was getting ready for my daughters martial arts class when I thought to myself " I can't imagine looking at a young mother, or any mother's missing persons flier & with ALL of this awesome technology we have today all it takes is a " click " to share it. One " click " to get that CHILD'S mother's ( or father ) face out there to the world. I share missing persons photos DAILY. I will never understand how so many can look at those flyers & SCROLL RIGHT PASS THEM.. "
I've even ranted about this on my FB.
If more folks had the mindset " if that were MY loved one " I would hope they would choose to " click and share "

I have followed and personal investigated both Larissa Sam amd Angie Barlow. While similarities are there. I do not feel in this situation they're related.
Larissa Sam's Uncle was the last to see her. Fact. What we know? She left work amd was at his home drinking moonshine. She went over for a drink and to play guitar and practice for American Idol. Her Uncle has said she left at 4 and also 4:30AM but also that he was asleep. He and her were the only two there. She leaves at aprox 4:30AM June 21st. Car later found. Then video of car being parked 20 mins 15 without traffic as it was early in the morning in a desolate area away from her Uncles in the opposite direction of her Greenwood apartment. Car found backed in and with personal items and a flat tire. Phone but no SIM.
Uncle left to pick his wife up in Michigan days after she disappeared. He totals his car on his way back but doesnt have his wife in tow. Fishy? Definitely.
No confirmed sightings of her since.

Angie Barlow. Last seen in the apartment of Baron McCullough and Raven Miller. Raven set up a private party to which Angie was to be paid $500 and tips. She was under the impression it was a house party from the tips mentioned. They told police she got a call from a male at 3AM and left. Phone records contradict their statement. We do know Angies car left at 3:30AM and Ravens followed behind immediately returning 37 mins later. Angies car found on opposite side of town. Drive has been proven it can be made round trip with no traffic while stopping for 3 mins at the location in 35 mins.

The day after she went missing they paid up their rent which was 3 months behind as well as Ravens car payment w months behind. Police then questioned them being a text was found sent from Angie stating the address she would be at with the words "in case I go missing". Afterwards they left the apartment and never returned while both quitting jobs and abandonding family contact. They are still off social media of all forms and whereabouts unknown.
I also found they licensed a roadside assistance company called RoadRunner a month prior to here disappearance.

I think both cases have strong persons of interest without enough physical evidence to tie them as suspects and bc of this taking out the theory they're cases are related.

These two cases have long bothered me. Unless I'm totally stupid, both of these cases have viable and probable suspects, yet...Nothing.... Crickets.
Does LE not care because of their lifestyles? How incredibly sad. I hope against hope that there is movement behind the scenes here. These lost women certainly need a knight in shining armor to bring them justice.

If you go back on her Facebook posts to June 2015 seems like she was having trouble with Islamic neighbor. Several rants about that religion. Another post indicates an exchange of words with someone at a store where the lady called her Mars Hill trash (or something to that extent) and she indicated she had only recently moved to Greenwood and didn't know where Mars Hill was located.

I've always lived on the West Side Of Indy and you hardly ever hear of things this bad happening here. Now the East side that's a different story.:moo:
