This sounds plausible. What about the 4:15 call to DR? I guess JR could have passed out not long after LS arrived at his apt, then woke up and she was gone? Would he call DR to see if she was back at Smallwood?

Honestly, I think most people would have said that they passed out, if that's what indeed happen. And to "buy" this story, means that both he AND his house guest had passed out if neither supposedly saw anything. I don't think his story would certainly have made him look good if say, they'd passed out, and the haridresser happened to witness her getting into a car in front of JR's, seeking a ride home. Obviously if they had passed out, they would have NO idea what she did. The only reason that I can see for them lying about this is if they are guilty of a crime that they're trying to cover up.

I would have thought so, too, but after viewing the floor plans of each of the units at 5 North Townhomes, it appears the only entry/exit to each unit is the front door. The floor plans do not show a back door:

I dunno, I just assumed that building codes would require such a thing for a townshouse, maybe not.

While checking to see if there are back doors to their vehicles parked behind 5 North (no garages, btw), I looked at the floor plan and see NO EAST-FACING WINDOW to 11th and College. omg. Flame me all you want, but JR did not see LS round the corner by opening his north-facing window. Who does that?!

I did not directly read in the article that KW found the purse and keys. The article says "The two items were found the next day by a hair stylist going into work." In the next section (8 paragraphs later), KW is described as a spa and salon employee who walked past 5North at 3:45AM on June 3.

They could be the same person, but I didn't see where in the article it is stated that they are the same person. Please let me know if I just missed it.

I was calling KW a hairstylist. But the article does say spa employee. I just used hairstylist b/c that's who I go to see at my spa/salon. I mis-spoke by substituting one for the other.

Hopefully LE knows, and has checked, any areas of the construction that may have been covered over or further finished on Friday before it was known Lauren was missing...are they places, or were there, that she could have actually fallen into? And this could all be some tragic accident?

Oh, heck yeah, there are some deep troughs cut around the perimeter of the site. But I would think the dogs were sent there asap.

Forgive me if I'm beating a dead horse, but I've seen so many posts about JR's windows. Wouldn't the most likely scenario -- if indeed he did watch her walk off -- be that he merely stepped out his own front door as she left, and possibly took a few steps forward to watch her walk away, rather than leaning out of some window? This is what I would do if I were watching someone walk away.

I don't personally think his account is reliable either way, but I don't understand all the talk about windows...

Because Lauren Spierer NEVER made that walk up 11th to College Ave, nor was she seen by Jay Rosenbaum to round the corner of 11th onto College Ave just 3 short blocks to her Smallwood Apt..

And you better believe investigators have spoken to all ppl just like these spoken about ^above^, jay Rosenbaum's next door neighbors, who were both out walking these same streets in and around the times that LS was.. Their having not seen hide nor hair of Lauren, along with any others who were driving down N. College Ave at these times, nor any cameras possibly pointed along her path home, nor any employee, nor patron of the 24 hour biz of Waffle House, nor did the cams at her Smallwood Apt ever surveille Lauren Spierer from that very short walk home that Jay Rosenbaum claims that he watched her set out on as well as make amd round the corner onto College Ave..

I guess this all is just a big ol' coincidence and this young woman, with long bright blond hair, wearing a large, oversize bright white shirt just "invisibly", and totally unseen make this walk home(or any other residence some speculate).. She was not seen and this is noted and I'd say all of those in this area(including the occupants of the white truck that we now know was UNinvolved) these occupants, as with the rest of those in the areas at these times.. NO ONE SAW HER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And the reason that NO ONE SAW HER IS BECAUSE SHE NEVER SET OUT FROM 5 NORTH TO MAKE A WALK HOME(or anywhere else) around 4:15-4:30am of June 3rd.. Jay Rosenbaum is lying and that is the reason that he will remain shut up until one by one the POIs will eventually all be cleared and the pressure will continue to mount on Jay Rosenbaum..
I pray to God that justice prevail for Lauren's precious parents and that a big talking, high faluting ATTY is not able to keep this justice for this young girl from happening.. IMO Jay is responsible already prolonging these parents pain and anguish.. I pray that this be brought to an end..

Jmo, tho! And I believe it is well stated what is our opinion.. What is rumor.. And what is fact.. We are all adults here and this thread is about Lauren Spierer it is not a thread to scold, slam, or attempt to tell our fellow posters how or what to post..

"He has provided full statements to the police and passed a polygraph that has also been provided to the authorities," the statement read. "Mr. Rosenbaum hopes for nothing less than Lauren to be found and to be safe."

Someone (BTown?) posted a pic taken in front of JR's apt looking down to corner. I don't think he could have seen her at the corner...too dark. I think he lied about seeing her leave, either to look better to her friends because he was passed out/didn't care; or because she died (OD?) in his apt.

Good point - that would seem like the logical thing to do. If he didn't watch her from the street, though, here's another idea: I just noticed on the floor plan that there is a "Juliet Balcony" on the second floor of his unit. He could have opened the doors to this very small balcony and watched her from there...seems much easier than leaning out of a window.

lol! Like that helps a lot. JR passed "a" polygraph. Doesn't say anything about him passing LE's polygraph. Not aimed at the poster, but the atty.

I mean, I do not know his IP, but JW's brother have been posting on that message board for years, since before Lauren's dissapearance. People know him PERSONALLY and by his first name.

Like I said, I do not know his IP, but why would someone pretend to be JW's brother YEARS/MONTHS before Lauren dissapeared?

Please post the links to his posts with date stamps made months and years before Lauren's disappearance in which he said he was JW's brother at those times and dates.

Just having been a prior member only proves that the individual was a prior member.

I also read most of the threads over there and did not see anyone say they know him personally and know him to be JW's brother. And, even if they did -- which could be the case since I didn't read everything -- that still is not proof of identity since it could be a prank.
