Cr has probably told his attorney that he doesn't remember leaving the bar. That would be my guess.
We know LS left behind a valuable item at the bar plus her shoes ...so we might assume she's not "herself" upon leaving the bar either.
Unless she had a habit of leaving things behind. At no time have I heard/seen a statement from anyone(HT,JW... those around her the most) that it was / was not like her to leave shoes, phone, and possibly dropping her purse with keys in it. If she just dropped the purse/keys and didn't even realize it (rather than her being grabbed, lifted, falling, etc...) she was becoming completely incapacitated.
Sure she may have laid the things somewhere to play volleyball...but she still left them behind.
As to her behavior at the bar...I don't know that there has been an official word on that.
I think this is important because if she was only at Sports for 40 minutes and was able to play, how much time was spent drinking? Sure you can put a few shots down fast... but is that typical of people playing volleyball? Maybe more like after playing, right? But then the alcohol wouldn't even have had time to metabolize by the time they were in the Alley if that were the case, not to the point of forgetting things and dropping things.
I also think it's important if the shoes and phone were together vs. separate.
It occurred to me yesterday (just posting about it now) after reading a post that I don't know what floor LS/HT's apartment was on, and what floor DR's apartment was on. The altercation was recorded on the 5th Fl. So... I'm thinking perhaps LS/CR went to LS's apt looking for her phone - already so out of it that she didn't realize it was left back at the bar. There she is also not wearing shoes, well into her building and doesn't put another pair on? On the other hand, if they were on DR's floor then why were they there to see him? {hey DR are you feeling like we are?}
My only point is that it appears as though LS and CR were beginning to demonstrate symptoms of a bad mix at about the same time.
They made their way to Smallwood in only three minutes, so their travel time is good but their minds are slipping.
Seems like someone who was drunk from alcohol would have a bit longer travel time.
It is a possibility that should be explored. I never got the feeling that they could have been very drunk, the situation seems to point to something more.
I think it was HT who said that JR was out of alcohol when LS arrived there earlier in the night.
But LS partied there for a period of time before going to the bar.
How did HT know JR was out of alcohol? I've not seen a timeline of her whereabouts that night... curious how she would know this.
If (and this is a big IF) CR and LS partied together that night and ingested the same drug, walked the same distance, drank together thereby creating the same mix, walked some more...and one of them succumbed to the effects of it all at just after 3:00am, then it's reasonable to speculate that the other would succumb to those same affects about the same time.
On the one hand I'd guess that CR is about 160 to 175 lbs. LS is only 100.
On the other hand, she might not have ingested as much assuming the same
big IF so I would tend to agree that they would be going down about the same time. This also makes MB's account inconsistent with what we would expect to be happening. How could CR be soooo much more messed up than LS in that 40 minute visit to Sports? And both of them even sooo messed up before they even left Sports. Yet MB says LS is not wanting to hang and wants to "go party"? That seems out of place with the sequence. Again, if their drinking was mostly (or all) done at Sports their blood alcohol level should only be so high in that short interval. Sports should have some idea what they were drinking and how much... if their purchases were put on bankcards, that would be narrowed a lot more.
I'll bet that it wasn't very much, not enough to explain CR crashing, and LS losing everything except her clothes.
Mr Salzman's statement that CR has amnesia from the punch to the face is a little more than hard to believe.
JMO
Agreed. He may have Amnesia, but no way can I believe it came from 2 punches or so that landed on his face. Perhaps a medical person can comment? I've seen people with really serious blows from accidents, falls etc.. many times worse CR's injury who had clear memories, or some that had "temporary" amnesia and the events came back to them. I don't think having a total clean sweep of memory is all that common for what appears to be minor injuries. So far I thought he was faking (which is also possible), but seems there could be something to this idea of "GHB, Roofies" or maybe a xanax blend. (perhaps someone with better knowledge of the comparative symptoms of at least these 3, if mentioning the "H" word is not allowed would make one more likely?)
In this scenario most of the same things could have happened to LS as has been theorized; accident, rape, abduction, or drug interactions/OD, etc
But it's a lot different thinking of LS as barely able to stand at 3:00 with her mind going blank vs. her wanting to "party" So, again I come to this pivotal statement of MB's that does seem inconsistent with the sequence and what was happening to CR. And also again... who exactly was there in CR/MB's at 3:00am? I do recall it being attributed to JR (that's when LS was supposedly leaving his place) that he said if she could walk she could leave. If at least that part were true, what would he have observed to cause him to say that?
