I'm not sure where I read this, but I thought an earlier post stated there was a security person at the construction site across from 5 North 24/7. If this is true, does anyone know if this person has been interviewed if they saw anyone walking on 11th towards college at 4:30am. Or even heard people talking at that time.

Just wanted to say that I'll be off-line for a bit while vacationing in Michigan. I'll be a half hour or so from JR's hometown and will try to check the general condition of the nearby lakes, since they've been posted about. I hope the landfill search breaks this case open. Many of the letters to Lauren posted yesterday were so hopeful that it was heartbreaking.

Touching. As we move toward the possibility of a landfill search, the Spierers are in my thoughts more than ever.

Once again, I can't help but notice that absent from these messages "from Lauren's closest friends and family" is any message from JW.

That's right. Of the half-dozen people there who i can identify and have facebook pages, however, all are facebook friends with JW (and HT). Most are also friends with DR, and about half with JR. None with CR or MB (or ZO or AB). This may reflect the pre-June 3rd status quo more than anything else, but fwiw...

I don't know what video of North Walnut would really tell us. I would prefer to hear Waffle House or something of that sort had video. I'm so curious about that place, does anyone local know if their cameras point out. I would have to assume because they would probably want to encompass the entire parking area.

If LS was perhaps walking it is possible she got off track. Or was headed someplace ELSE. I am really curious what businesses on Walnut have cameras on the sidewalk, specifically.

Probably more on their parking lots. Mad Mushroom perhaps -- and I'll be the doctor's office has cameras.

If I'm over in town tomorrow I'll try to remember to check out what else is on that street and who might have cameras - and where.

Of course any camera footage is a good thing... I'm not totally familiar with the area and I just thought it would be fantastic if businesses close to her last known area could provide something informative. Of course we don't know what video footage LE even possesses. Anyways. The locals are our best bet! Hopefully you locals will check them out tomorrow!

I assume it is from a Press conference, because I do remember hearing it, though it really doesn't signify anything. All we know us that they got a video, but nothing was ever said that anything useful was seen on it.

I'm about 15 minutes north west of his parents home. There are sooo many lakes, big small and ponds between my house and his. And thats just the direct route there. No joke on being the great lake state. My brother in law actually lives with in a couple blocks of j.r. fyi his house(j.r's) is'nt special and it looks like no one has been there all summer. Lawn is dry and not especially taken care of. There's alot of boys over there that look so simular to jr. I was doing double takes when I stopped at the local gas station.

We have to be careful re-reading a timeline from start to finish because some of these reports were so early in the case certain details such as the times were later changed when they examined video evidence more closely.

Right. The 3:15-30 time comes from June 12. On June 16, they released the updated timeline with the 2:40-50 timeframe.
