Is AB not one of the two guys that found her things outside 10th&college complex. He was at smallwood when LS was there, and matches witness description carrying her. I realize there is a chance this is mistaken identity but at this point , don't think his involvement can be eliminated

AA was the one who saw her things. AA's unidentified friend put the things on the railing. Later that day, two women found them and turned them in to LE. One of them (who, as I recall, worked as a hair stylist or something similar) was interviewed but wanted to stay anonymous. I can't find the link any more. AB was the friend/roomate of ZO. AB was the one who engaged in "reckless tweeting." Of the people whose names and photos are public knowledge, AB best fits the description of the mystery man at 3:38.

I don't live in Bloomington, but I do recall reading on one forum or another that someone was photographing camera locations (including one at 10th and College) when BPD arrived and started canvasing the neighborhood. This was in mid-June of 2011.

Those things don't make him a POI, they make him a target for speculation.

Same thing to me, I am not saying he is a suspect.

LE stated that there were at least ten POIs of which we only know four or five and ZO isn't even an officially named POI, even though MSM confirmed that he was the person who punched CR.

And sure, I am just speculating that AB was with ZO during the fight, but isn't that what we are here doing?

It's very useful to take some time understanding the visuals. 10th and College Apts is a huge building with a partially enclosed walkway with cameras pointing south and I presume there is one pointing north.

Short answer: These cameras would not capture her walking nor vehicles traveling on College.

Thanks Jupiter812. I had studied the pictures by Btown but could not determine if any cameras at 10th and College pointed north. My reason for asking the question in the first place has to do with the discussion of the mystery man and withness at 3:38. It appears that there are no cameras between 5 North and 10th and College. So, we know that LS is last seen at 3 on camera in the gravel lot. So, what if JR's time frame is wrong and she really did leave at 3:30 instead of 4:30. She could have walked down 11th to College and down to 10th. Knowing her condition it could have taken her 8 minutes to get there. Maybe she has fallen on the way there. Maybe she fell just as the witness sees mm picking her up. Maybe mm knows her and takes her back to 5 North knowing she has been there. They would never be seen on camera and JR's story watching her walk to the corner is correct just at a different time. Just throwing out a lot of what ifs.

So what MB told VS seems to conflict with his account that he escorted LS to JR's place. Of course, he could have just suggested that she go to JR's and assumed that she had gone there, but this account does create a time gap in which LS is apparently alone before she is at JR's.

So now, how about this scenario...
LS leaves the apt of MB and CR on her own and heads back to Smallwood. She's still in bad shape. Mystery man arrives on the scene, then takes her to JR's.

Note that in the IM article, JR's attorney is quoted as saying "“There were other people around and I believe the police have all their names and information.”

So it there may have been three or more people at JR's. JR, guest from home, and mystery man.

There's a person I have in mind who may fit that description other then AB who is friends with some of JR's roommates on FB.

Perhaps he could also be a DD... Remember seeing some talk about being a "trapper" on his FB page a while back. Let's just say his last name is like that SF Giant outfielder who is notorious for "the catch" in centerfield.

Not seeing anyone with exactly that name, but you just said it was "like" that name, perhaps in different language. Is/was he an IU student or might he be another visitor from out of town?

Based on scenario given, if the mm took her back to 5 North or JR's the mm would know that the witness saw him. JR couldn't use 3:30 as the time frame. So he would have to use a different time. An hour later would work.

Now I really wonder why these phone calls were made. I thought the original story was that she wanted DR to let her into Smallwood. Then it would make sense not to leave a message. But according to the new account she had her Smallwood key card. So she did not need to call someone to let her in. If she was looking for her phone, it seems she'd leave a message.

He actually went to the police station (which is not far from Smallwood). I don't know if anyone called the police first. Maybe the police required that a missing persons report be given in person.

I'm confused. Didn't MB originally say she left for JR's because she wanted to party ... and then it became he escorted her to JR's? And now she left while he was upstairs, according to VS? So which is it? To top it off, wasn't MB supposed to be the one who wasn't partying?
