10/28/21: Motion for continuance filed by Miller. Joint Motion to vacate jury trial setting. 10/20/21 Update: The Court now sets this cause for hearing on the Joint Motion to Continue Trial on 11/8/21 at 10am. Trial set to begin on 12/6/21, back up date of 1/17/22 & 2/14/22.
11/8/21 Update: Order granting request for search warrant. Hearing on Motion to Continue held. Discovery is ongoing. Counsel for defendant has received the preliminary autopsy report & the final autopsy report is forthcoming. The State has no objection to the Motion to Continue the first trial setting of 12/6/21. The court grants the Motion to Continue. Delay chargeable to defendant. Parties indicate they don't foresee any problem with proceeding to trial on 1/17/22. Discovery Compliance hearing is set on 12/17/21 @ 10am.

@Niner Man, am I falling down on my job. They filed a plea agreement on 12/15. I'm going to check in on the hearing this morning.

The hearing is over. Discovery was the first issue to be addressed; everything has moved along and is almost finished. There are over 2 terabytes of info.
There will be a plea hearing on Monday, Dec 20 @ 1pm Central. Sentencing will be scheduled later. The judge mentioned live streaming so anyone who has a chance can watch.
