Was he involved in, ah, procurement, scheduling, pimping?

IIRC, unfortunately, women become involved in prostitution to fund their drug habits?

Although this guy does not have Distribution on his lengthy list.

Argghhh, I have missed the developments with this 'treat' of a POI. I don't know why as I am 'watching' this thread yet got no notifications for it.

I am going to have to spark up my old laptop and see if I didn't save a copy of that photo from her crackbook way back when. I may have as I tend to do that when something really piques my interest and Dianne's couch photo certainly did.

I somehow think that if this is our guy -- he never served a day in Thule, Greenland as he doesn't seem to have an single iota of military discipline in his body. And, Thule's not exactly the kind of place where one can feed a nasty coke habit at the drop of a hat. I could walk the place end-to-end in 15 minutes. What a tool.

This is a riveting case and you all are rockstars!! I wish there was a way to have this thread in the Unidentified forum as well. Technically PRH is both missing and unidentified. Hmm. I may ask to see what, if anything, can be done.

Y’all have done amazing work here over the past several years! Last night I spent several hours browsing newspaper archives for Diane/Diana/Donna Rae and marriage or divorce records, but every groom’s name I searched in yearbooks led me not to PRH. I don’t know why that seemed to me a good place to start.

I can’t think of any AF or IN contacts off hand. I’ll definitely tag them if I can remember one. I’ll keep poking around newspapers and see if I stumble across anything.

After reading through every post last night I came away thinking of Rasmussen. I wondered if maybe PRH was a chameleon of sorts for reasons such as his. Just thinking out loud a little.

This is certainly an interesting case. Some things that stood out to me was the mistake about the name of his mother on the marriage license and also maybe why he might have had a false identity. He said he was Italian and Colletti is an Italian last name so while that is obviously not his real last name, perhaps his real name or his mother's maiden name were similar and while trying to recall his fake mother's last name which started with a C he put an Italian last name though the real Paul's mother didn't have an Italian last name. Or maybe he did that to support him saying he was Italian to his new wife. Hmm. And there's lots of Italians in New York State etc so that would fit with him really having Italian blood. Of course, some Italians are associated with the Mafia and crime families too..As to why he might have had a fake ID, he might not have been running from anything at all or at least nothing really bad. Two well known cases involving fake IDs are Lori Ruff and Joseph Chandler. Neither of them were running from anything really bad as far as is currently known. She had mental health and probably family issues, but that was all. She was just an ordinary woman from Pennsylvania. As for "Joseph Chandler" he also had mental health issues although he probably was using a false ID because he was running from paying child support to his family he left behind( when he was using his real name). This guy too may have had a false ID just because he had issues with child support or some other not really noteworthy debt. Fake IDs in these types of cases usually ended up being associated with more mundane issues than the Mafia or criminals wanted by the FBI or something or even anything really criminal at all. That's not to say this case maybe different but perhaps this guy just had mental health and child support or minor debt issues or some family issues he was running from or felt like he had to- in his perception. Perhaps his head injury at one time affected his thinking or it was just mental health issues. It's intriguing he didn't lie when asked by his wife about the scar on his head, but rather refused to discuss it. Why not just lie when he lied about so much else? He must have known his wife would wonder. It may have been an innocent injury and not from anything criminal, though. Hopefully this case gets solved one day. Those using the names of dead kids..was there somewhere they could get those names from other than on their own especially in pre internet days? I believe I have read there was. If "Paul Herrod" is still living, this case may not be solved until he dies and it's discovered he had been using or had used in the past fake IDs or a fake ID. This is a long thread, but from my reading through it, those were my impressions.
