I finally found a picture of the shower sequence that I keep referencing! It's one that I think was taken AFTER the one we all think is the last one of him alive. His arm is raised higher that than in that one. I can't figure this picture out. What is that around his wrist/forearm and what is that hook-shaped bit on his arm???

Any thoughts?

one of the jurors asked where the gas cans went. she said they were in her grand parents garage, she hadn't gotten around to returning them to darryl.

So do we know if LE recovered the two DarrylB gas cans from Gma/Gpa's garage? TIA

Most people take a shower when they get up (whatever time that is) and before they go to work. You don't have to have sex to take a shower...just sayin.

If they did have sex that day, where are the photos of them together in poses, etc? She even spoke herself about the timer, yet no photos of them together. Usually, "sex photos" involve two people together, not separately.

In the one of Travis with his hands clenched at his chest, I see a man in anguish, head hung in shame, he'd lost to the natural man again. I see him trying to wash Jodi away. Then he saw her and knew that was it. She was going to kill him.

There is absolutely no evidence that they had sex. The photos of him on the bed look like he'd just woke up and was surprised by her and the photos of her could have been taken with a timer. There is not one photo of them together. I believe that every one of these photos were taken to make it look like they had sex that day and then, for whatever reason, she panicked and decided to delete them.

I think if that picture of him where it looks like he just woke up is the last "sex" photo taken, he got up, freaked out, had it out with her and kicked her out of his house somewhere around 2pm and deleted the photos himself.

But she returned. While he was in the shower.

I think she hates him because he has her number and he doesn't back down. He challenges her and wins.

Well all I'm seeing is a couple of pictures of Travis, one in which it looks like he is sleeping on top of the comforter on a made bed in the nude. The other looks like he just woke up and noticed someone taking his picture. Is there any other picture of him? And were these the last "sex photos" taken? According to his roomate he was up around 6-7am and said he was going back to sleep? Where was JA at this time? Or is the roomate mistaken on the day? And it was incredibly hot that day. Air conditioning doesn't always make it up to the second floor of a house that well, especially a room the size of Travis' that would probably only have a couple of floor registers. It's not a stretch to think that he might have just laid down nude on top of the comforter because it was hot. JA says they went to bed at 4am. The bed is made in the "sex" picture of Travis sleeping. It doesn't add up to me. They both had some pretty vivid ideas of what kind of sex pictures they'd like to take, I don't see any sex in these. Unless there are others and they are not being brought in to respect the victim.

The pictures of JA look like they could easily have been staged by her, with a timer, prior to waking Travis up.

I have no problem with the fact that they may have had sex. I totally understand that he could have been easily taken back in by her. It's just that the evidence doesn't seem to line up with that sex story in my mind. Actually none of her story up until those pictures seems to add up really. :waitasec:

Didn't she say they woke up around 1:30pm? And with all the rope action, getting a knife, the measuring, the cutting, the making of "nooses", the tying up of JA by looping the rope around the bed, the oral sex, the anal sex, how did they accomplish all this in about 15 minutes? Because those pictures around 1:45pm kind of look like they were "done", not in the midst of the action.

Thanks for this. Sometimes it is hard to look at things from a forum perspective when I have looked at it so long from an evidential perspective. And, I'm not particularly well spoken. So....your points above bolded by me are put into a way that I couldn't put them. I completely agree!

I totally agree with you. I'm not convinced that they had sex that day either. I think that those pictures may have been taken at an earlier date and that she uploaded them onto his camera at 1:30 pm. The bed has not been slept in. Also - TA's leg look hairless in those pics and they do not look hairless in the shower pictures.

They had sex but IMO neither was "happy".

Travis was tired, disgusted for allowing himself to give in to the temptation. He knew he was using her, he knew it was wrong not only because of his faith but to give Jodi false hope. He was not even close to happy.

Jodi was not happy, of course. She had driven all night with weapons in her car, cell phone off. She knew that unless Travis would apologize to her, say he wanted to be "official" again, she was going to kill him.

I think she took the pic of herself on the timer on June 4. Travis did NOT take any pic of her. In fact, every pic we have EVER seen was taken by her. I recall some people said she was supposed to be taking a pic of Travis and she would set it on timer and jump in the pic...ruining many nice pics of Travis.

I also think Travis didn't want her touching his brand new camera. He wanted to save it for his trip. This probably set her rage meter off its feet.

I disagree. There is an internal timer in that camera that cannot be manipulated. If the state says those pictures were taken 6/4, I believe them. That wasn't even contested by Nurmi.

IMO, I believe that TA was completely finished with her. It doesn't make sense to me that he would finally be rid of her since, what was it?, March or April, and then jump back into the sack with her at that point.

I believe she forced him into the photos somehow. Did she want them as a memento?? Then freaked after the actual killing and decided to delete them?

Him consenting to have sex with her at that point is hard enough for me to believe, but I can't see him consenting to nude photos at that point...just doesn't make sense to me.

Why did JA fill the gas cans in Utah?

She already established an alibi there with Ryan and the police officer. Also she bought gas with a card and left a paper trail, so there was no need to fill up gas cans at that point. Am I missing something? And before you say she had gas to beurn evidence, remember she was pulled over (intentionally) by Law Enforcement in Utah, so she must hyave ditched the evidence by then.

Aaaaaand.. hehe Guns and knives don't burn...

The Washington Mutual statement may be the starting point for the next attorney's appeal, claiming ineffective counsel and citing the failure to issue a Request for Production of Documents for all her accounts... or maybe they did and just missed the significance of the third gas purchase totaling exactly $5.09.

They seemed to 'miss' what was in the binders of those two magazines she tried to send out with messages to MM!

But really now. They have this stuff. She knows they have it. Is she really going to risk not explaining with more whoppers so they don't get surprised? I think if he had sex with her it was to con her into thinking everything was going to be ok. As I recall he had concerns there was an axe murderer deep inside.
