Agree. Juan comes out of an interesting bag, too. I see two aspects that may make him so argumentative:

1. Napoleon Complex. I see this aggressiveness often in my work world. The shortest people often act the toughest and talk the loudest. My boyfriend has some of this, which he admits stems from insecurity about his height. Many feel they were bullied as children, so they become very "Joe Pesci" in adulthood.

2. Cultural insecurity. It's fairly common for non-whites to feel the need to be fiercer, smarter, etc. in a white working environment. Some have concerns about people assuming you don't know your stuff. Jodi comes off very 'Smarter Than Thou', so I'm sure she's pouncing on this particular nerve of Juan's.

Interesting. I have this theory about how larger breasts may make women pre-disposed to brutal rage-filled slashing murders.

Just think, were it not for Jodi Arias' breast implants, none of this would have happened.

Also, she's half-German. And we know what they are like *cough* blitzkreig *cough*

I absolutely agree with that, cuz a man is a man lol! But, he was about to go to Cancun with a girl he was supposed to really like, even if she wasn't as into him as he would've liked, so it was clear that he was movin' on, and Jodi was what, 1200 miles away? I don't know if he KNEW she was coming and just decided to "hit it" one last time, or if she surprised him and just showed up. But either way, it seems strange that after texting her all of that, that he would just be like "ok" and sleep with her again. Ya know?

Except I read that Mimi told Travis that she did NOT want a relationship with him and if he wanted to take someone else to Cancun that was fine. But they decided to still go for business.

Did I imagine that? It's very possible with all of the details in this case...you know 3 different stories of what supposedly happened! LOL!!

Just reviewed the photos. I now think Travis leg is not crossed in the shower sitting photo. It appears that his calf is pressed against his thigh. I only see one leg. He may have just slithered down the wall when he saw her. I wish I could see his face and arms.

I can't get over the amount of strength it would take to stab him so many times. I still tend to think this was a stiletto type knife. Oj slashed Nicole's tires with one and also did all of his handy work on her and Ron with one.

Actually, it wouldn't take all that much strength. The wound that did the most damage initially passed through the soft cartilage between Travis' ribs and sternum, striking the inferior vena cava. Other wounds, including the back wounds, struck bone without penetrating.

In any case a sharp pointed knife can do what sharp pointed knifes do: cut and stab. Not to be gross, but the problem with using a stiletto or overly effective knife is that what's exhausting is when it gets stuck.

As far as strength, Ryan Burns mentioned she "adjusted" him during their make-out session by grasping his hips and physically moving him to a better position. She was able to fill three five gallon gas cans (about 30 lbs each) and lift them back into the trunk of her car.

What stabbing and slashing someone like that would take is endurance. If you remember, Jodi mentioned to Travis that she would run and run but never really broke into a sweat. She had more than enough endurance for an enraged, adrenal-fueled two minute knife attack.

Only have one question, Why did she take time to have her nails done? Any ideas?

If she really did, she probably only got a manicure. She is not the getting her nails done type of girl. I have not seen one picture with her nails "done". No polish, no nothing.

I was watching AC's special last night. There was a portion they showed where she said "He spit". Since there is always a little bit of truth in everything she says, I want to watch that part again. It was when she was talking about the murder. Then she said, "or maybe it was just water". Anyway, I'm going to try to find it. He probably was spitting in the sink, and it was another Freudian slip.

If anyone else remembers this, please post the clip in the meantime.

When did Jodi claim she became a brunette? I recall her saying she tried to dye her hair back to brown but the first time she did it it wasn't the look she was going for, it was too light but I can't recall the date. Was she ever on Travis' bed with the same color hair we see in the evidence photos before June 4, 2008? That would be one way to confirm the pictures were taken June 4, 2008 or if they were taken before that. Ryan Burns met her at the March 2008 OK City PPL convention and she was blonde. She moved to CA the beginning of April.

Found it! Starting at about 4:30 she says there was SPIT. I do believe that is a slip, and he did begin to spit at that point. She stabbed him first! "There was spit coming out"

You don't go all stealth and then just leave your butt hanging by parking in the driveway. Jodi rented a car, bought gas, and turned off her phone till it was over and she was on her way. She screwed up in other ways ,but she wants us to believe that she was welcome there. The car was parked down the street or a block over. Why announce your presence during the trip. It only became important when she needed it to be.

I think Jodi came packed out for Cancun. She had her mind made up. She was going or Travis was dying.

This is my first post on the TA Case so please excuse me if this has been discussed before. But there is an airline ticket purchased at Priceline for about $260.

I read about it today when discussing the three gas cans and her bank statement. Most posters assumed that that was the ticket she bought for Travis' memorial. But I thought I saw a minus sign besides it as if a refund could have been given later.

Could this purchase have been an air ticket to Cancun? How much would it have cost for a ticket to Cancun?

i had a look on priceline,i can't remember where i put the departing flight from but destination cancun it was around $300 for a one way ticket and i think $408 for a return so i'm not sure. i do think those prices change daily though since its a comparison website?

i also looked at a flight to his funeral and im sure that was around the $300+ dollar mark aswell. but not being from america i am pretty much clueless on travel destinations

I'm anxious for JM to tie all the pieces of the puzzle together as was done in the Scott Peterson case. I'm anxious to hear him talk about the shower photos. No one sits in the shower the way Travis did. And it's ridiculous to think that they were deleting photos as he was in the shower. That makes no sense. She had him at knife/gun point for sure. He looks terrified. As someone pointed our earlier the shower door was open. Why would he turn off the water and sit down unless she forced him to? Once JM goes through those minutes it will all be crystal clear to the jury. I hope he uses lots of visuals.

Next week can't get here fast enough. I'm counting off the days till Wednesday. I'm that eager.

I found this picture online that I thought was really kinda interesting.

Apparently a person took Travis' last shower picture, and put it in a software that basically cuts the face in half and mirrors it back so its one face, its interesting to see this, one side of the face he looks sad, and the other kinda mad.

I really believe when this picture was taken he knew something sinister was about to happen.

I believe the same. That was a small cramped shower, no one is going to sit in it. Especially to take pictures even if its for the sexiness of it all, or to prove your weight loss. It wouldn't be sexy or show your weight loss, your body would be scrunched up. I think he more or less sat down either because she forced him to with a knife or gun, or because he was plain sick and tired and didn't know what to do.

For her to think that its believable that she took pictures of him in the shower with the door open, he sat down on the shower floor with the water still running and was showing him pictures? Water would be splashing all over his brand new camera. Why would he do that? It makes no sense.

Its my belief that she either showed him the gun or the knife at that point and took a photo of his face on purpose. He's looking wide eyed directly in the camera, and he looks pretty scared. I think she then attacked him with the knife...

Talk about a tragedy of epic proportions. Can you imagine getting a relationship ended due to a freak of nature development you are born with? You are no longer welcome because of a physical sexual thing? This could send someone over the deep end in a New York minute.

I agree. But don't you think she should have been open and honest about it in the first place? IMO that is one other reason why she is so mixed up - especially sexually. I really do think it explains why it was probably SHE who wanted anal sex so he would not find out. So she put it over to him that he could still consider himself a virgin if they had anal sex. But eventually he started wondering and noticed she was different. He felt deceived and she felt rejected.
