Is LE toying with KC and her team?

I personally think JB & his team want access to the crime scene as its being processed so they can possibly "compromise" the crime scene themselves. I think they know they are up the creek and are grasping at straws.

Somebody is toying with someone. What is up with the ch 6 news saying that evidence from the remains site are connected to the Anthony home??? It is a headline but I cannot find the source of that information. If it is connected then isn't it pretty much a done deal. I mean who else who be connected to the Anthony home but Caylee???? I think they know darn well who these remains belong to and are stalling the defense. It sure wouldn't hurt anything to let them observe the scene.

i think in a backwards kind of way the defense team is absolutely ticked off

maybe they can reach out to their client

hehehehehehehehehheehe

:clap: In my gut... I think your absolutely right robotdog!

I think Jose Baez has no idea what he is doing and is trying anything he can think of just so he doesn't miss something. Very ironic for the defense to imply LE is not cooperative after the games KC and the AntFam have played!

A day after the State's atty made the argument about the media, Ms. Baden went on Geraldo and invited him to film the crime scene. It horrifies me to think that when the defense does their autopsy that Geraldo might be standing there filming his exclusive. Ya think the defense might get paid for that?

You have got to be kidding!?! You know I hate to say it but I wouldn't put it past the A's to have a private funeral service but let the "highest bidding" media outlet(s) to come and take some pic's - they'll use the opportunity to make more $$ off of that precious baby and I would be outraged! :furious:

Apparently Judge Strictland felt differently Manny and felt that it was best to uphold THE LAW - he stated clearly to the defense "Your asking me to assist you, but I can't assist you by interfering with a murder investigation"

in a neutral place, so that nothing will change on that level, as their best resource waits behind bars.

I couldn't resist

Salem

Thanks for the laugh. After driving my kids to school in the snow and ice, I needed one this morning.

Sure it would. A couple of points there.

Yes we all are pretty sure that this is Caylee. It all matches. BUT at this state of decomposition, and given that the remains are scattered, the only formal identification, in this day and age, is DNA. Until a formal identification is made it would be inappropriate, unethical and possibly illegal to allow defense anywhere near a childs body. Period! The Medical Examiner has certain statutory obligations in the handling of human remains. As was cited in court, she cannot simply allow an outsider to observe. Once a formal identification is made the remains will be released to next of kin, and the defense can bring on whatever experts they wish. Plus as part of the normal discovery process, that occurs in every other criminal case in the nation, they will be given all of the materials and findings from the formal autopsy.

As far as access to the crime scene. NO! HELL NO! noone is ever allowed in an active crime scene unless they are prought there deliberately as an expert or subcontractor of the forensics teams. This is an absolute. Once again this happens in every criminal case in the nation. And once again normal discovery process is available for the defense to get access to all evidence gleaned. The defense has the presumption of innocense, the state has the burden of investigation. And the defense may not interfere with the states investigation.

As far as what harm could it do to let them look. One of the defense "Dream Team" experts, Dr. H Lee, tampered with, removed, and apparently destroyed a key piece of evidence from the site of his last big media case. the Phil Specter case. He was observed to pick up a small white object from the crime scene and bottle it. This object is believed to be one of the victimes fake fingernails, and could have proved that the victim certainly did not kill herself. But alas the item was never seen again after it entered the esteemed Dr. Lee's pocket, and the case was deadlocked in a mistrial. He was admonished by the court for what he did, and it should have been a career destroying action. But here he is again, looking to get access to an active crime scene in the Caylee case. If you were LE would you let him near a crime scene? Or those he worked the Specter case with, such as Mrs. Baden?

All the defense experts and talking heads that are screaming on TV how outrageous this is, and how they have never been denied access to a crime scene before. They are Lying! point blank, they are lying! The most vocal voice is dr. Baden, who is obviously in the tank for his wife, who is a member of the "scheme team". They have only ever been allowed access to crime scenes when they were working for or consulting for LE. Once they put on the defense hat, or take money to be an advocate of the defense, they do not get that access. EVER.

Motion was denied for the autopsy because there is no formal identification. Out of respect for the body the Judge felt there was no reason for any strangers to be present.

As far as the crime scene denial, JB oopsied on that. The words "crime scene" were not put in the motion. Judge can't rule on something that is not asked for. I personally thought that was the highlight of last Friday. A real Homer Simpson "doh" moment.
Gotta love it!

I ask myself if LKB and KR really believe that KC is innocent of this crime? These are intelligent women. Why in the world would they want to be involved in a crime where the accused murderer has an invisible nanny as their defense. I mean, don't they have reputations to protect?

No, but they have wallets to fill with money. Anyone jumping to join the defense is looking to make money with book deals and TV interviews. They don't care about KC, the A's or Caylee. They only care about themselves and how much money they can make.

I like KR and her books, but I will not be reading them anymore. Anyone that chooses to align themselves with the defense are questionable themselves.

Yeah, but just think. If they had allowed him onto the crime scene, that fake fingernail might have finally turned up. *sarcasm*
