So the Palestinians were receiving  hundreds of trucks per day of humanitarian aid  before October 7? For how long (that's a lot of aid)?
Basically free handouts aka welfare, all going in the support of Hamas.
This needs to stop.
It's possible that a very small percentage of the Gazans are getting anything at all.
Sick and tired of funding Hamas/terrorists.
Maybe if this aid ends, the people will rise up ?
Omo.

The Israel Defense Forces releases additional footage showing the moment the Navy’s elite Shayetet 13 commando unit and the 401st Armored Brigade raided Gaza City’s Rantisi children’s hospital.

The troops found a cache of weapons and a room that the IDF believes was used by Hamas to hold Israeli hostages hostages.

Yesterday, IDF Spokesman Rear Adm. Daniel Hagari gave an English-language press conference, revealing what he said was proof that the basement of Rantisi was used by Hamas to hide arms and possibly hold hostages kidnapped on October 7.

Agreed. This definitely needs to change. As for the people rising up, we've heard a lot from various charitable organizations and governments about this situation (and protesters), but what about the Palestinians, themselves? Not their "spokesmen". It was very refreshing to see the videos shared of the outcry from  Palestinians frustrated with Hamas, as they're evacuating.

Cold conditions?

Rafah Egypt its 78
Nirim Israel its 79
Those are high temps. Humidity is low and nightly lows are in the low 60's.

Most incubators are usually set to 98.6.

If you are used to hot, those night temps can feel chilly. Also, humidity is relatively low.

They say temps in the Med region tend to ""follow the sun".
It's also the rainy season.

I'm here in Texas, it was 61 last night, and I wore a winter coat and stocking cap. I'm also from Wisconsin and can deal with cold.

Yes, there are plenty hardy people who are fine in tents, but there are also kids and older folks who need shoes, clothes, blankets etc. Also many have loss weight. This decreases cold tolerance.

Bolding mine.
How utterly repulsive that they stored their weapons and maybe hostages beneath a children's hospital.
We've already seen how the preemie infants were treated.
All while Israel is attempting to evacuate the babies.
Notice how Hamas were already gone from the hospital ?
Every time there is a 'pause', Hamas has time to relocate.
Even if they're under a hospital.
Who's to say that someone on the inside isn't alerting them that the IDF is closing in ?
Ugh.
If I sound frustrated, it's because Israel is fighting a war against not only Hamas --but other people and countries who are working against them !
Omo.

Reports people attempting to leave hospital shot in legs

The BBC's Rushdi Abualouf has heard that no people, or any items of aid, have been allowed out of the Al-Shifa hospital for the last 48 hours, according to one of his contacts.

That source - one of the few remaining journalists in the hospital - says four people had tried to leave Al-Shifa yesterday, but were shot in the legs and left on the ground bleeding for around two hours.

Medics had to risk their lives to get them into the hospital for treatment, the source tells Abualouf.

The BBC has been unable to access the hospital to verify this as fighting has been raging in the vicinity in recent days.

That's a familiar playbook by those who want to keep their human shields; Hamas has been called out for these things before:

Don't hold your breath. Hamas (and others) have made no secret of their intentions toward the US and Jews. We live in the "technology age". Don't think they won't use technology to accomplish their goals. They're using modern methods to trace ancestry for a reason. jmo
Finally someone gets to an issue not in public discourse. It’s not just a 100 year issue, not a Roman Diaspora of AD 70..it goes much further.

Bbm.
Excellent point. ^^^
Once they're somewhat free from Hamas, they can speak their minds.
Hopefully more Gazans will tell about the stunts 'Hamas' is pulling in the city.

Snipped for focus.
Notice the balaclava face coverings used by Hamas ?
Other terrorists like Hezbollah use coverings as well .
To conceal who they are.
People who are breaking and entering to steal do this as well.
It has to be uncomfortable, esp. in hot weather.
Boohoo.
Cowards, all of them.
Omo.

If anyone recalls the footage of the Israeli Navy taking out the Hamas terrorists who attempted to boat/dive then swim ashore into Israel to attack innocent civilians back in October, here's the footage of the IDFnow finding below the surface the weapons & munitions:
