Oh this won't be good and the fact the Houthis were so proudly sharing the video of it.. I am sure we will respond. I think everyone in that area should be concerned. The drone that was flying over GAZA was at 25,000 feet consistently. If they can shoot the done down, then what's stopping them from shooting down other aircraft?
Sure we should be worried .... it was International Airspace; you know, where civilian airliners fly through.

It's not like the entity that is Iran hasn't done things like this before so I certainly wouldn't put it past their terrorist proxies:

I think it's interesting seeing the 3D printers and what they are used for [drone production] in the clip immediately below:

Israeli troops operating in the Gaza Strip have located a Hamas drone manufacturing plant and weapons depot within a residential building in Gaza City’s Sheikh Radwan neighborhood, footage released by the IDF shows.

Very heavy security outside the synagogue in Berlin where the main ceremony to mark the 85th anniversary of Kristallnacht is taking place. The German Chancellor, the German President and also the families of the abductees will take part in the ceremony. The entire area is secured by hundreds of police and special forces. Two weeks ago a pro-Palestinian protester threw two Molotov cocktails at this synagogue

Shocking moment Gal Gadot's screening of Hamas terror attack film ends in mass brawls between pro-Israel and pro-Palestinian protestors outside the Museum of Tolerance

  • Videos showed fights between protesters outside LA Museum of Tolerance
  • Gal Gadot organized screening of footage of Hamas terror attack atrocities committed during the October 7 invasion of Israel
  • Police were dispatched to the area for security purposes well ahead of the skirmishes and ended up having to pepper spray several people

Pro-Palestine rioters gathered to attack people attending or supporting the documentary screening showing Hamas atrocities at the Museum of Tolerance holocaust museum in Los Angeles. The screening was rumored to be organized by Israeli actress Gal Gadot.

Regarding, that residence/apartment? with the drone manufacturing. What a jackpot of evidence, if it wasn't a war, they could send all that to a lab, swab the whole place for DNA samples, and dust for prints, look at paperwork, personal items with names. Compare the drones to the ones that were recovered after they were used in the initial attack. Then wait to see if any of those guys survived and return.

IDF denies military’s edited film of Hamas atrocities has leaked online

The Israel Defense Forces spokesperson’s unit says that contrary to reports, its edited film of Hamas atrocities has not leaked online.

[...]

Messages have circulated throughout the morning in parent groups, warning that there may be a version of the film circulating online.

Mental health professionals in Israel have an issued an urgent call to the government to scrap Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s reported plan to show the film to the general public.

Scholz vows to protect Germany’s Jews amid rising antisemitism: ‘Never again’ is now

Chancellor Olaf Scholz pledges to protect Germany’s Jews against a “shameful” upsurge in antisemitism in the wake of the Israel-Hamas war, on the anniversary of Kristallnacht.

Speaking in a Berlin synagogue that assailants targeted with two Molotov cocktails last month, Scholz says: “Essentially this is about keeping the promise given again and again in the decades since 1945…the promise ‘never again.'”

On November 9-10, 1938, Nazi thugs murdered at least 90 Jews, torched 1,400 synagogues across Germany and Austria and destroyed Jewish-owned shops and businesses.

Since the devastating Hamas attack on October 7, some 2,000 antisemitic incidents linked to the war have been reported so far in Germany, federal police say. Authorities have boosted security around Jewish institutions.

"Scandal in Israel.

Shocking recordings of soldiers have been leaked.

1699536196071.png

As the Haaretz newspaper writes, there is an increasing number of soldiers who first record and then post videos online showing the military beating and humiliating detained Palestinians.

The command punished soldiers

'involved in certain acts',
stating that
'this was behavior inconsistent with IDF values'.
Since the outbreak of the war, many soldiers began recording themselves beating and humiliating arrested Palestinians and disseminated the videos on social networks.

'This phenomenon existed before the war, but has intensified significantly since the massacre committed by Hamas'
writes the Israeli newspaper Haaretz.

Incidents not only in Gaza.

Reports from the West Bank.

Journalists collected 15 videos that had been distributed since October 7.
The Israel Defense Forces confirmed that at least five of them were filmed after the war began.
The army added that the remaining videos were
'under review and working to resolve the issue'.

The videos show Palestinians with their hands cuffed and their faces covered, and in some cases they are photographed naked or partially clothed.
In some videos, soldiers are beating and swearing at Palestinians, in others they are forcing detainees to say various things or behave in a degrading manner.

It is not clear where the videos were shot or who the Palestinians are, but most of them appear to have been shot in the West Bank, not in the combat zones in the Gaza area.

'Some of the registered Palestinians were released without questioning shortly after their arrest', we read.

They beat me left and right.

One video shot in the Yatta area south of Mount Hebron shows seven prisoners lying on the ground, handcuffed and blindfolded.

One of them, who appears to be injured, was photographed with his pants down.

Muhammad, 55, told Haaretz that soldiers entered his house at night and took him and his son away. -

'Then they laid us on the ground and tied our hands and feet' - he repeated. -
'They beat us and cursed us.
They hit me with something that seemed to have electricity in it. They hit me left and right on the head, I was bleeding',
he added.

The soldiers recorded everything and posted the video online.

Another video shows completely naked Palestinians.
Their eyes are covered and their hands are cuffed.
Israeli soldiers beat them and drag them on the ground.
One of the soldiers kicks a Palestinian in the head.

There is controversy surrounding the video:
Palestinian networks claim it was filmed in the West Bank, but an IDF spokesman denies this.

IDF: the recordings show terrorists

According to Israel, most of the people in the recording
'are terrorists who took part in the October 7 massacre',
and the recording was made not in the West Bank, but in the Gaza Strip, a few days after the Hamas attack.
There is no doubt that these are illegal actions, as the IDF spokesman said in response: -
'The behavior of the armed forces, which results from the documentation, is serious and inconsistent with the orders of the army'
- emphasized the IDF spokesman.

Soldiers abuse Palestinians

Another video shot near Bethlehem shows a blindfolded and bound Palestinian prisoner.
An Israeli soldier calls him names and beats him, calls him *advertiser censored* in Arabic and says he has sex with animals.
Spits on him and kicks him.
The Palestinian screams in pain.

An IDF spokesman confirmed the authenticity of the recording and stated that the person seen in it was a reservist.
The soldier was sentenced to 10 days in prison and dismissed from service.

Haaretz writes that a

'popular genre of videos' are those in which soldiers force Palestinians to 'say sentences aimed at humiliating them'.
Here, too, the IDF spokesman confirmed that such situations do occur and disciplinary punishment is applied to the soldiers.

A video was recorded at the Al-Awja checkpoint in the Jordan Valley, showing a Palestinian detained and handcuffed.
The soldier dances around him.

An IDF spokesman explained: - 'The content of the recorded video is not consistent with the values of the IDF.
Detention procedures have been improved',
Haaretz newspaper quotes him saying.

The newspaper raises the alarm.

'Increasing arbitrary violence'

Palestinians in east Jerusalem have also complained since the beginning of the war of increasing arbitrary violence against them by Israeli police and soldiers.

As Haaretz writes, a number of testimonies and documents show that young people from east Jerusalem were severely beaten by police officers and prison guards.

An IDF spokesman stated that 'the documentation of the cases cited in the article shows that the soldiers' attitude towards Palestinian prisoners is not consistent with IDF values'.

The IDF takes matters seriously, and the matters are being investigated and dealt with.

IDF commanders are conducting command talks on this issue with all soldiers in the sector, and some cases are subject to disciplinary action depending on the circumstances.

Additional measures, such as termination of reserve service, are also taken where appropriate."

Gallant: One of the military’s Gaza objectives is to prevent rocket fire on Israeli towns

Defense Minister Yoav Gallant says one of the objectives of the military’s ground offensive in the Gaza Strip is to stop Hamas rocket fire on Israeli towns, so that the public can return to their daily routines.

“We are in a prolonged war, and the issue of the civilian economy is a main factor in the management of the war. We need to resolve things quickly, even if not perfectly,” says Gallant during a meeting with directors general of government ministries, local officials, and the head of the IDF Home Front Command.

Opening Gaza aid conference, Macron calls for humanitarian pause, reiterates Israel’s right to defend itself

French President Emmanuel Macron opens a Gaza aid conference with an appeal for Israel to protect civilians as it fights the Hamas terror group, saying “all lives have equal worth” and that fighting terrorism “can never be carried out without rules.”

The gathering in Paris brings together officials from Western and Arab nations, the United Nations and nongovernmental organizations, with the aim of providing urgent aid to civilians in the Gaza Strip that is being pounded by Israel in its war against Hamas, sparked by the terror group’s devastating October 7 massacre.

Israeli authorities weren’t invited but have been informed of the talks, Macron’s office said.

Macron reiterates calls for a humanitarian pause in Israel’s operations. He said that by attacking Israel on Oct. 7, Hamas “shouldered the responsibility for exposing Palestinians to terrible consequences,” and he again defended Israel’s right to defend itself.

IDF says anti-tank missile fired at Israel from Lebanon; troops hit 2 Hezbollah cells

The Israel Defense Forces says it struck two Hezbollah anti-tank guided missile squads in southern Lebanon, near the Biranit military base and the northern community of Yiftah.

It adds that Hezbollah operatives opened fire at an IDF drone over the Mount Dov area earlier today. In response, another aircraft struck the source of the fire, and artillery shelled the area, the IDF says.

Meanwhile, an anti-tank missile was fired from southern Lebanon at the Mitzpe Adi base, near Margaliot. The IDF says it is responding with artillery shelling.

"
“The atrocities perpetrated by Palestinian armed groups on October 7 were heinous, brutal and shocking, they were war crimes – as is the continued holding of hostages,” said Volker Türk, the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights.

“The collective punishment by Israel of Palestinian civilians amounts also to a war crime, as does the unlawful forcible evacuation of civilians,” he added."

About 50,000 people fled northern Gaza yesterday, U.N. says

Tens of thousands of Palestinians are again set to move south from northern Gaza today in a corridor established by the Israeli military.

It comes after the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs estimated that “50,000 people evacuated during the day” yesterday, by far the largest number since the corridor opened Nov. 5.

Most of the evacuees are moving on foot, it said. That estimate matches numbers given by the IDF for yesterday's exodus.

Hostage families appeal to China for help

At a news briefing with Hong Kong media, Adva Adar said her 85-year-old grandmother Yaffa “was kidnapped from her bed,” adding that her elderly relative had been without her medicines for a month. “We are very worried for her condition. We can’t let her die slowly, painfully,” Adar said.

Eilon Bibas, whose 10-month-old cousin Kfir Bibas was kidnapped along with his parents Shiri and Yarden and his sister Ariel, 4, said it was driving them “crazy that one month later we don’t have any piece of information about them.” He added that they wanted their families back “but we want them alive.”

Both Adar and Bibas appealed directly to the Chinese government for help to secure the release of their family members.

Nato allies support humanitarian pauses in the war to allow aid to reach Gaza, the alliance’s secretary general Jens Stoltenberg has said.

International law must be respected and civilians be protected in the conflict, he told reporters in Berlin as he addressed the media before a meeting with the German chancellor Olaf Scholz, Reuters reported.

“The war in Gaza must not turn into a major regional conflict. Iran and Hezbollah must stay out of this fight,” Stoltenberg added.

Reuters is reporting that a trilateral meeting was held in Qatar on Thursday between CIA and Mossad chiefs and the Qatari prime minister to discuss the parameters of a deal for hostage releases and a pause in the Israeli attacks on Gaza.

Citing a source said to be briefed on the meeting, Reuters said the talks also included a discussion over allowing humanitarian imports of fuel into Gaza.

I doubt anybody will give info.
Such a person would be asking for death for oneself and the family as traitors.
Hamas has "long arms" for those who betray the organization.

I believe someone will feel betrayed enough by Hamas to decide to help the IDF, even if it costs them. jmo

IDF says its forces are fighting in Gaza City’s ‘military quarter’ near Shifa Hospital

[...]

According to the IDF, the so-called military quarter, adjacent to Shifa Hospital, is “the heart” of Hamas’s intelligence and operational activities, and sites in the area were used to plan and prepare the October 7 onslaught.

A graphic published by the IDF on November 9, 2023, showing a map of Hamas presence in Gaza City’s ‘military quarter. (Israel Defense Forces)

It says that in recent days, forces of the Givati Infantry Brigade and tanks entered the quarter to destroy Hamas infrastructure. Amid clashes in the area, more than 50 Hamas operatives were killed, the IDF says.

The IDF says troops found intelligence materials, tunnels, weapons manufacturing plants and anti-tank missile launch positions.

The quarter houses “strategic” Hamas sites, according to the IDF, including the terror group’s intelligence and air defense headquarters, political bureau offices, and a police station.

The IDF says the largest Hamas training camp is also in the quarter, along with other military positions, weapons manufacturing plants and warehouses, command centers, offices of Hamas commanders, and underground infrastructure — all embedded in the “heart of the civilian population.”

“This is further proof of the terrorist organization’s cynical use of the residents of the Gaza Strip as a human shield for its murderous terrorist activity,” the IDF says.
