What I learned from listening to the jailhouse call between Casey & Lee was that she kept telling him that Zanny/Nanny's telephone number came up as private. So that means that she had no number to reach Zanny at...but when she talks to 911 prior to being arrested she tells the 911 operator that she talked to Zanny & Caylee that day. That they called Casey that same day. When the 911 operator asks her about the number for Zanny, Casey says that she tried to call Zanny back but that Zanny's number has been disconnected.
If Zanny's call registers private as she tells Lee, you cannot call it back to find out it is disconnected because a number would not have shown up on the phone screen.

Whenever I start to doubt whether this was a premeditated murder I go back and listen to that first call where she wanted Tony's number. I think that is a true glimpse at who she is, defiant, juvenile, self centered, cruel and cold. She blasts her mother for questioning this ridiculous story, ridicules her cameo's on TV. Then there is the "all everyone cares about is finding Caylee" comment. That omg I am in jail, I should be the center of your world... gag. She absolutely cold while this girl cries about Caylee.

But what caught my attention was when Christie was trying to pry info from her and asking if Tony had any information that could help them Casey says "Tony had nothing to do with this". If your child is missing isn't that a current event, Tony has nothing to do with mess??? I think there at least two past tense references to Caylee in those early conversations.

WOW
Who would have that that a little word like "had" could be so telling. You're right on the money.

Yeah she already knows that Caylee is long gone and somewhere hidden from the world and hidden from a decent burial

hvpdr,

Excellent catch, excellent info!
And Welcome to WS!

Couldn't you just *69 it or whatever that allows you to recall the last call?

think "after the fact" means for her after the fact of getting/buying the phone, she set it up after the fact, at least I hope it's what she meant

Sorry I don't get it, what KC says is that she receives calls from Z that come up as private but still has a number for Z in her possession that was given to her which when she tried to call it was disconnected
But regardless it's all lies anyway

Simple, wholes in her story showed up real quick.

Another lie I just caught KC telling in her phone call with Lee was when he asked her for Juillette's number. She told him that Juillette had just moved a couple of months ago so she didn't know how to get in touch with her anymore. Well that phone call was taped on July 26 with Lee and if Juillette had moved a couple of months prior to that phone call and she didn't know how to reach her, then how could KC have told her about Caylee being missing?

I don't know if you do this, but sometimes I'll go back and take another listen to the phone calls and each time something new seems to stand out to me. Today when I took another listen to the jail phone call between Lee and Casey :http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uQ2BxypXC2A

When Lee was drilling Casey about the blackjack that she "lost" and stating that the phone should have been saving the contact number for the babysitter as well as the sim card,
she says, " I set it up after the fact to save just to the sim card." It's probably been discussed, but that phrase seemed like a big slip up to me...
and then - once the call is officially over and the recording comes on about AT&T blah blah....you can hear Casey audibly SIGH loud and long - like that was a really hard performance for her. It is telling and sickening.

Thanks for bringing new light on the sigh. I've listened to the call ZILLIONS of times and always thought that she sighed because the call kind of got cut off before she officially said bye. That sheds a whole new light on things for me now.

GREAT POINT INDEED about the use of "had"....

Please provide your feedback on this may mean ... I thought it was very strange and telling.

LEE ANTHONY, BROTHER: You know, I know there`s some -- you know, some people that you referred to in the past, and you know, I`m just curious if, you know, anything has changed as far as who I can trust and all those type of things.

CASEY ANTHONY, MOTHER OF MISSING CHILD: I mean, as far as I`m concerned, nothing`s really changed on that level, so -- and if anything does, I`ll obviously let you know.

Maybe he was referring to Jesse. She had told her mother not to trust him. Maybe LA suspected that she might have told Jesse something about this matter and was wondering if he should contact him and if he was trustworthy. This is what comes to my mind.

I agree, this phone call is on the 25th, 9 days after her arrest. They released the 911 tapes, the first call home and this one. This call is the day after two of the 911 tapes are released, and the first call home are released. It is the first call after Lee realizes they are being taped and possibly released which I think is why the language is so odd and unnatural. I don't remember when Cindy's interviews where she throws Jesse under the bus are taped but I think the Jesse being untrustworthy idea was already being floated at this point by the Anthony crew.

Well it's plain to see that neither of them wanted to mention names. But Lee wanted some confirmation on who to trust. Obviously they had this discussion about that person before. And it seems like Casey assures her brother that whoever they are speaking about (without mentioning a name) is still to be trusted.
Does this mean something? Yes, they are hiding the identification of a certain person. It could be a person who knows too much about something that took place.

What about Ryan P., the one Cindy called to tell him Casey was a sociopath? Didn't she borrow money from him for "rent"? Maybe she told Lee to stay away because she knew Cindy made her look bad to him on top of her owing him $.

She was referring to Jesse. She'd told her family that he was not to be trusted. That is what Lee was trying to reconfirm.

IIRC, this was mentioned later on by Lee. I don't remember where I saw it, maybe his interview?

What about RM?

According to what has been deduced from the document dump, it appears that on June 10th, KC texted AH that her and RM are no longer friends.

I don't think it was necessarily about whom he COULD trust, but just easily about whom he could NOT trust. Since Casey states in her Diary of Days to "trust no one but yourself" I highly doubt she was trying to let him know whom he could trust...Trust no one...She was saying, from my viewpoint, Nope, you still cannot trust them-and I also believe that was Jesse...since she had specifically told her mom not to trust him and made her believe she was afraid of him...She certainly is a piece of work.
