They were also meant to be going back to UK that day and vacate the Airbnb by 11am. They could have dropped him back to his hotel on the way to the airport. Why were they still there when Lucy supposedly tracked them down later that day? Did they book an extra night, buy new plane tickets ? Why did they not leave as planned ?

This is bothering me too! There's been a lot made of the two men staying an extra day, apparently to assist with the police investigation. But the two men had extended their stay before the police had even contacted them! Lucy said they were shocked when she turned up.. this was the first they knew of jays disappearance. And it was after the 11am checkout time.

By rotating the photo, I believe they were also compared to photos of Jay wearing his trainers in previous photos and the consensus seems to be they are not Jays feet in the photo. But who knows .This is just MOO you dont have to agree with it

We know then at 8.49am and 8.50am Jay sent his location via both Snapchat and WhatsApp to two friends. We can confirm that it was Jay using his phone at this stage.

which is kind of imprecise because you could meet some one say exiting a venue without actually having tickets and attending IMO.

Snapchat info is always frustrating as it’s so vague! And there are so many options and possibilities when one says Jay “posted” the watch picture. To me, this info implies three possibilities:

1. Jay posted this to a main, public STORY of which any of his friends / followers could watch, send to each other and screenshot. This would be a really silly thing to do and certainly, as @Kassandrra said, could initiate a fight between the three of them as it would show a lot of people what they had done.

2. He posted it onto a private story, where Jay was able to select and decide which individuals could view. This means most likely a small group of people close to jay could view and screenshot the image.

3. Jay only sent this image to a handful of friends / whoever he wanted to show off the watch to. I think this is what he did.

EDIT: Also, once a Snapchat is sent once, it is deleted. Unless!!! The recipient SAVES the picture in the chat or screenshots it immediately upon opening it. You can’t save a snap any later than about 30 seconds. I wonder if anyone actually HAS the photo saved or is this just what his friends have said?

All IMO from years of experience on Snapchat lol!

jmo - if he’s out there in scrub , off the path or even on the path but who knows going to where because he was disoriented- extremely hard to locate

If he’s out there and victim of someone , also extremely hard to locate.

The truth is not yet fully spoken if I feel - his mates and those men are speaking half truths only
This will only come close to solved if someone talks and even then his body may not be recovered

His poor parents - a hard path ahead of them.

I accept that there has been a stolen watch but I think that there is something more involved, something involving supplying drugs at a rave. The watch theft being a complication in the story.

With all the speculation online coming to the fore on msm I wonder how much more stuff on there will come to mainstream in the next week or so seems strange that stories considered conspiracy last week are now being reported as fact now

The guys at the air bnb...pretty sure they said he went out to buy cigarettes and came back before leaving to get a bus. So if that is true they werent asleep

Was 100% on my ‘Occam’s Razor - he’s headed back to an Airbnb with two guys he knows from holiday to carry on partying, got his head down for an hour, woke up and felt awkward so wanted to get back to his hotel asap and unfortunately got lost and passed away’ theory….

All of a sudden this watch story comes out and the identity of one of the Airbnb guys paints quite an unsavoury picture about him and my whole theory is up in the air! I genuinely have no idea now. It could still be possible that these bits of information coming out are just crazy coincidences and my original theory is right, that he’s got lost and passed away. But I do have to admit I’m probably more 90% now rather than 100%.

It’s making more sense now why his mum thought he was taken and not just missing when there are drug lords involved.

Actually, I just referenced crime ring without any nationality. (I don't know the nationality of the AirBnB people.)

It's possible the photo was taken on a previous day or any day. JMO
