On the one hand i agree, a rape is a rape regardless of virginity status, but " the first time" should be special, and welcomed, not a near-death experience, imo.

That's how I am viewing it too. She was saving herself and he took that from her. This young lady is so strong to do this!
The poor Harringtons. You know they have to be thinking this is what MH went through also.

All I could find was where the prosecution presented pictures of scars on her throat from back then. Nothing said if they are still there or not.

Just might be the problem. You should get an account, it won't take you long to understand it. Any case you want to know the latest news on you can type in and do a search for it. It's handy.

Why?? I don't understand. I guess because it was discovered during the hannah graham case which they aren't allowed to discuss.

I had the pleasure of taking 45 minutes from work this morning to sit in the courtroom and watch the nurse and the officer who responded to the hospital testify. I saw Jesse Matthew too - surrounded by counsel. Was there for direct, cross, redirect of the two aforementioned witnesses. The nurse mainly described how she collected evidence, the female anatomy, and whether or not she recalled the victim personally or was simply testifying based on her handwriting on the sealed evidence bags. Matthew was engaged in listening to both witnesses and discussing things with his counsel as they came up.

It's laughable! They are trying to put reasonable doubt into the mind of the juror. It's their ONLY hope. Too bad it's weak and won't work. This isn't the OJ Simpson trial, people!!! JM is GOING DOWN!
