I know that, I am just confused as to where the bridge she was hitchiking on, and why she would leave her bag and phone in the parking lot if she just dropped it.

Not only had she been partying right before the concert (alcohol for sure, possibly drugs), but her parents claim that she fell in the arena and cut her chin. Her parents claim that the cut on her chin is evidence of a head injury (lawsuit initiated by parents against arena). She left the arena to smoke, even though there were smoking rooms in the arena and she knew that there was a no re-entry rule in place. After she walked out of the arena, she could not re-enter. She apparently accosted a couple of people that were standing outside of the arena. Then, she walked across the parking lot to Lannigan field. In that parking lot, she was seen by some athletes. That is where she dropped her phone (or it was planted), then she walked across the Copley Road bridge (over the train tracks) towards Ivy Road. She was seen hitch hiking there. It is minutes from where she was hitch hiking to Route 29. Her body was found off Route 29.

The DNA would take precedence even if there is not a match between how he wore his hair on his head and facial hair at that time. A better match than how WG described him when he saw him at the mall.

Autumn Wind Day, 24, was last seen on July 24, 2003 at a Food Lion in the 10,000 block of Warwick Boulevard. The next day her car was found abandoned in the grocery store’s parking lot, which is two miles from CNU.

I am just worried this useless PD who has failed to solve all these cases for so long is trying to pile on and fabricate evidence to close other cases. I am not impressed at the chiefs longos handling of this case.

There is plenty of DNA on file that could have been matched if any fabrication were to be done.

If he is responsible for even a fraction of what has been going on around there, he must have been pleased as punch with himself! Up until now, there might have been slight suspicion, but no real links to all of the horrible crimes. He must have loved being able to commit multiple acts of violence and not only dodge suspicion of himself, but even dodge the suspicion that they were related. He does not hesitate a fraction of a second or even look uncomfortable or wary when he approaches Hannah. He even went back into another bar! Brazen!!!!! Scary.

If there is any connection to the Samantha Clarke disappearance, that would be a VERY big deal. There are already documented connections between Randy Taylor (who was convicted of a different murder earlier this year) to Samantha Clarke. So if they are thinking that JM might also be connected, that would strongly infer that there may be connections between Taylor and Matthew.

LE enforcement has also been reported today searching Rt20 north of Cville. That is the road that you would take if you were going from Cville to Orange County.

I was just coming on to say this exact same thing. If they can link him to Samantha then that opens up a ton of new questions and concerns.

I think she will be returning. We have seen in other cases where the DA paid for the expenses for someone that lives abroad so they would be able to testify in court.

I feel sure LE has already talked with her. And if she herself has already heard about the arrest, and it has gotten international attention, she may have contacted LE.

She knows she is lucky to be alive today. He would have killed her too if someone hadn't come up on the scene. She was already unconscious when found. I am sure if LE tells her that her testimony is vital in helping him be put away she will return.

She was awesome. It's amazing how good her description was--one of the best I've ever seen. When I saw the yearbook photos that were posted a few pages back, I was floored by how exact the match is to some of JMs younger photos.

I hope she can take some comfort in what good data she provided LE.

Yes!! Even if he were convicted, these missing girls deserve justice. Their families deserve to have their remains. I just keep thinking about her .. Don't know why, but I feel like Jesse knows where she is ..
