If I were LE...

I would set up a Special Task Force or multi-specialty team, assigned to investigate JLM, now suspected of serial abduction/assault/rape/murder, that coordinated with multiple districts where he resided, that included State and Federal agency investigators with specialties, disciplines and resources that local LE do not have.

I would assign someone on the Task Force to work with Mark Eggeman to continue to schedule and oversee HRD dog searches of the area surrounding where Jesse Matthew lived, worked and went to school, alternating volunteer teams from all over the country to try to recover the remains of his victims and bring closure and justice for the victims and those who love them.

IMO, Absolutely no way on the Showalter or the other 1996 cases (Winans & Williams, Scroggins, Silva and McDaniels). He was 14 years old until December of 1996.
Lisk sisters are definitely attributed to Richard "Marc" Ebonitz. Lisk by a palm print in the trunk of his car. (May 1st 1997 abducted) JLM was 15 and1/2 years old.

IMO,its time for Lynchburg to re-examine whether Jamisha Gilbert had any aquaintance with Jesse Matthew and if he was in Lynchburg the night before Thanksgiving 2013

I'd like to see LE look at phone records and any possible link to Jaisle Elizabeth Thomas, age 17, who disappeared Easter Sunday, April 12, 1998. She worked at a grocery store, could have met JLM at a sports or youth event or camp. They could have met at the grocery store, which along with bars, is JLM's signature predator territory.

Right before Hannah Graham's abduction, a male with JLM's appearance tried to pick up two teen age girls at a convenience store, asked them if they wanted to hang out. They told their mother who reported it to LE after Hannah Graham disappeared.

I don't know who has become the Keeper of the Timeline (which is wonderful work, BTW).
But I would add the 9/07/2003 sexual assault at CNU in Newport News. which happens to be the same day as Sophie May Rivera disappearance in Newport News.

There are several things missing/inaccurate at this point (it was last updated 10/5, and created by shutterbug). I don't know how best continue to edit it. Perhaps PM Bessie? I'll work on that, with a few other additions.

Taylor was seen on surveillance video at the same gas station as Murphy, 17. He has maintained he is innocent, saying he and Alexis went back to his camper to smoke marijuana with another man.

The other man was not Jesse Matthew, the Commonwealth Attorney for Nelson County, Anthony Martin, said.

Curious. How would he know?

The person RAT ID'ed as the person being there is not JM, but that doesn't meant RAT was truthful in that ID.

It's my opinion that if RAT had anybody else to pin the murder on he would've given up that person no problem. He didn't want those life sentences. He tried to bargain by saying he'd tell where Alexis is and I have no doubt if any other guy was involved he would've spilled the info.
 
Yes, I agree with you. I think RAT is just trying to pin his crime on anyone he can to get out of prison. I've always thought that he didn't believe he'd get convicted without a body... Oh, you thought incorrectly buddy! :jail: :seeya: I think he's right where he needs to be. Imo it's a never a coincidence that you are that last person to speak to two missing girls (AM & Samantha Clarke), and you didn't harm.

The only way I could think of JM being connected is if there is some sort of group of predator men, who harm women together.

I know the Peninsula area of VA well and the thing that perplexes me is , unlike the Charlottesville/Albermarle County area, there are not that many big areas of woods. Did he transport these victims to the Charlottesville/ALB County area for disposal? It's only 2 hours away.....
