No, Travis probably isn't drunk. My boyfriend's voice gets gravelly and his words slur when he's dog tired late at night on the phone, too.

But what I'm troubled by is Jodi KNOWS he's tired as heck, but she doesn't care. She only cares about herself and keeps yacking and yacking, to keep him on the phone. Selfish!

Friendship with this girl is abusive: she's too needy and attention-starved. She just can't let go of this man's "teat." All that phoney flattery in that bubbly, childlike voice is sickening.

Is she bi-polar, swinging from the highest-high (chit-chatty nonsense singing after midnight) to the lowest-low (murder)? She sounds so Up! Up! UP!!! that she must be in a manic high state, like is 10 a.m. after drinking two pots of strong coffee. Meanwhile, Travis is clearly about to pass out and start snoring.

She tried waaaay too hard. That's part of the reason he was turned-off from a serious relationship. Men can smell desperation, and they don't usually respect it. Sad.

I just don't understand this at all. If she only wanted a portion of the tape played and the judge said no, it has to be the whole tape, why didn't she just pull the tape at the last minute? This just seems so very odd to me!

I totally agree. I'm really puzzled right now as to why defense pushed playing this tape. IMO, this tape blew her entire story right out of the water.

She claims to have just put up with his sexual demands and on the tape she is so happy about his stamina! This tape was the best thing that could be done for the prosecution. :waitasec:

Three things:

1. Tape was made as: BLACKMAIL

2. It no longer matters who fingers those were.

3. I hope the state plays the segment of the tape where Travis said he never pleasured himself before her. Stop tape - ask who was manipulated, corrupted by who and who is the VICTIM here. Repeat like 5 times.

When the verdict comes in - I hope everyone in the Alexander family leaves a Tobleron on their chair as they exit the courtroom.

As she is escorted off to jail everyone should throw Toblerone at her.
