You are right on all points but I would love to have definitive, no wiggle-room proof that she is lying to help clear Travis' name. It's frustrating because it seems that it can be resolved SO EASILY through a simple x-ray. I'd love to see her try to explain that away. Hopefully the jury has as much common sense as you. :)

IMO, x-raying the finger could end up proving that it was broken at some point. And there is obviously something wrong with the finger. I think enough holes can and will be poked in her story to give the jury more than enough reason to believe that she is a self-serving, lying psychopath. When JM is done with her, the jury isn't going to believe any of the lies she told about Travis.

I was thinking that the prosecutor was pointing out that she couldn't even keep the injured finger story straight ... she was fuzzy on the date, whether it was one or two fingers, on which hand she had the injury. The prosecutor is postulating that the injury occurred on July 4, 2008 when Jodi murdered Travis with a gun shot to the head and 29 stab wounds - including almost cutting off his head.

I get the impression that she pulled a gun on him and the first shot grazed his head ... makes me think that he grabbed her hand to point the gun away. He probably did crouch down on all fours after being grazed in the head with a bullet ... I suppse that's how she "put him down", by tormenting him until she slit his throat.

Yes- just wish the prosecution could make her do it since it's key to her defense. Or at least ask her in front of the jury if she would be willing to clear it up and prove her claims with an x-ray. The jury would think, seems logical, why don't you do it, Jodi?

That could end up being an OJ and the glove moment.

I think if Jodi knew it had ever been broken the defense would happily show the X-ray but it clearly looks like the tendon's been cut and no broken bones. I'm sure you're right, though - the prosecution feels it can be proven without an X-ray.

Except an X-ray can't be manipulated - though Jodi might have a way. I just believe that if it had ever been broken, the defense would show an X-ray to prove it. Since they haven't, odds are very good that it would help the prosecution.

Okay, another thought on the "Matt forgeries"...(which btw, he could be facing over a decade in prison - this is serious!)

Did the state ever say who they got these two magazines from? I assumed the jail handed them over to the state after they were confiscated. I'm now having second thoughts. I mean, why would Juan focus so much on the penciled writing? He reiterated the 'pencil' a few times. Maybe it was to show that the writing was done before the mags (with JA mailing labels - they can receive subscriptions? ugh) left the jail and not after.

Notice how JA first stated that all items go through a guard before they can be given to a prisoner's visitor? Then she nixed that, and added they go through a guard, then the Sargent, than another guard before visitor gets the item.

She adds lots of details when she believes it will help her. I think the mags did get to Anne(?) Campbell and she passed them on (is she the one leaving the court-room?).

Perhaps JA will use the guard's typical inspection process as evidence that she didn't write the codes. "Well, obviously it wasn't found by three separate inspectors. No, I did not write that!"

Did Matt hand them over (to save his own arse) to the state?

June 4?

... couple of bandairds that didn't fix the problem ... but couldn't go to the hospital with knife injuries after murdering someone with a knife.

If I am not mistaken it is Donovan? that left the courtroom, bff to anne. Hope I have that right. I too wondered if Matt came forward and gave the magazine/s to prosecution.

Wait a minute :waitasec:...(I'm on a roll! This 'Matt' bombshell has me spinning!)

Did Matt help her kill Travis? Hmmm...2 orders at in & out. She asked the LE about more than one person, plus her testimony about the 'ninjas' (one male, the other female).

Ugh, just thinking out loud.

Thinking about the camera. I still don't get why she didn't take it with the gun and the knife.
I bet the camera was covered in her blood as well. :waitasec:
She washed it to get all of her blood out of the tiny crevices IMO.

She couldn't steal it! The room mates would probably have
known it was a new purchase that was missing.

Ugg. Why does this bug me to no end?

Interesting thought! But I think Jodi would have rolled on him a long time ago.

It would make sense to me if Matt was there. That slaughter was too much for a light weight frail girl. Can you imagine the look on Travis face if he saw Matt standing there next to Jodi?

I have thought so too. Unless she was counting on Matt to help her by testifying and help her get a not guilty verdict...
It will be interesting to see how this plays out!

I think she was trying to hurry up and clean up the bathroom, before a roomate came home. She had cleaned up a lot of blood with towels and TA's shirt and she unintentionally threw the camera in the washer. Perhaps it was on top of the towels?

The evidence all points to Jodi. No way she wouldn't try to pin it all on Matt if he had been there. She had Travis subdued. His guard was down. She slaughtered him. If Matt was there, I would think he would have been the one to drag Travis back to the shower. The pic shows it was her.

Or two masked intruders!
Could that be what that look is that Travis had?
Seeing a masked woman that looked like JA and a masked man?

BUT there was no other DNA found at the scene.

I just cannot help but think she had to have help.
How could she kill him and clean up so well in the limited time
she had before the roomie was expected to come home?

Was there enough time?

IMO if she did it alone this is further proof it was premeditated .
She had to have timed it all out.

I really hope Matt was not involved.

Depending on the knife used do you have any idea how difficlt it would be to slice someone's throat to the back bone and then drag his rather large body and place him into a small shower? I am just not buying it. Make love with the guy and turn around the next minute and butcher him? Just can't see this. Matt was in the car waiting for his signal to get to work IMO.
She was there to take the picture but it doesn't mean she was doing the dragging.

Hey guys...have some thoughts regarding what another poster said.
I agree that Jodee (!) probably had some gig with the sex industry all
up and down Calif, Mesa, and Vegas. The webcam Travis mentions in
his blog is telling. I bet anything she is engaged in that.

From her leading fakey sex tape with the soft, sex-kitten voice, to
always being on the road, and her *advertiser censored*, extremely graphic ECU 'portrait'
shots of her used and abused vajayjay, it all just sounds like she's a sex
worker. Each to their own, if she would just cop to it. I sure don't know
any women who would take those kinds of shots unless they were
A) in a committed relationship and B) her man would make darn sure
they didn't get out. Seems like shots a pro with no inhibitions takes.
Plus, Jodee sure looks worse for wear (down there) for her age.

Is there any way we should check Craig's list, AAF, (a sexy hook-up site),
or escort sites in CA, Palm Desert, Az., and Vegas to try and find her
profile? That would be awesome!

Another thing, the fantasies from the phone sex tape, as well as the
pop-rocks and tootsie pops games sound super-amateurish. But, if
you're a pro, I would think you would tailor the sex ideas to whomever
is your mark and their level of experience. To me, this absolutely shows
Travis was pretty innocent in sexual matters.

I hope Juan brings up the topic of her 'new-found' religion and how
she has no disregard for it at all. How can someone get baptized into
a new religion, take its vows, and immediately cast aside basic tenets
of that religion.

Commandments broken: Honor your Father and Mother, Thou shall
not bear false witness against your neighbor, Thou shall not murder,
Thou shall not commit adultery, Thou shall not steal (know she did),
Thou shall not covet anything of your neighbor's (ya riight).

This really irks me. I have Mormon relatives in Mesa, and they are
wonderful Christian people. She is the spawn of Satan himself,
just like Cain.

She is the scarlet *advertiser censored* of Babylon. I detest her vapid dark and
evil soul.
ok, i'm done, had to get it all off my chest. love you guys~

Some have asked about the camera in the wash, I found this explanation and wanted to share.

Mesa Police Officer Michael Melendez showed the jury how he was able to access the pictures on Alexander's camera -- pictures that had been deleted.

Police say Arias deleted the photos then put the camera in a washing machine. Investigators restored the pictures, thanks to a memory card in the camera.

No, the stay request was just a request that the trial court not be permitted to move on to the penalty portion of the trial (assuming JA is convicted) until the AZ Supreme Court rules on their argument about the death penalty.

A lot of states now require the card to be shown and an I9 form filled out. The problem I have with that whole story is that she KNEW the code to get in through the garage, and she TOLD everyone who would listen that she had the code, so why did she not just go in the garage and get the darn thing? Because she wanted to be peeping in windows, that's why. So glad Juan brought this up yesterday.

Mine is why not use the front door and lets just say KNOCK. Or perhaps call?
