Is he blameless in his death? YES.

Do his sisters probably want to roll up a newspaper and smack him in the back of the head for ever getting involved with her. Yes lol...they probably wish beyond life itself he was here so they could intervene and help him.

I doubt they knew what was happening or that anyone predicted she would crouch near his shower that day and stab him in the chest.. then finish him off.

His siblings lost so much...both parents and maybe grandparents, such a tough upbringing and yet they have not murdered anyone.

Think of the losses they have suffered and continue to suffer. That really kills me

:rocker: Yes, it sure is messing up her "script" ...lol :great:

JA "thinks" she is one step ahead of Mr. Martinez ... Well, she found out Thursday that she is NOT one step ahead of Mr. M !

:waitasec: I wonder IF she is going to change her "demeanor" tomorrow on the stand ? She was soooooooooooo disgustingly arroagant and indignant with Mr. Martinez, and I am wondering IF she is going to go back to the FAKE and foney Jodi, that mousy, "abused" demeanor? :waitasec: NOT that that would help her -- I think her goose is already cooked ...

:great::great: I am sooooooooooooooo looking forward to Mr. M's cross coming up this week ! I can't wait !

:seeya:

I agree! I'm so excited to see more of what we saw Thursday. I also wondered if she'd go back to meek, abused Jodi, but there's no way. The cat is out of the bag, so if she goes back to her defense demeanor, she'll just look more crazy in the eyes of the jury. :great:

So, the mystery Christina Lopez is a witness for the DT. Is that correct? Is she really willing to get in trouble for JA? If so, to bad for her. eh

According to court minutes, Christina Lopez is a State's witness.

Here's the crime floorplan someone posted earlier

Her gun story is just a stupid story and now her goose is cooked. Why didn't she make up a better lie to fit the timeline and logic of self-defense? It really insults everybody that hears her gun story because it's implausible and impossible.

I don't know how I'm suppose to buy that story. No way...she's just a stupid liar...yuck...forget that evil ryhmes- with-witch and starts with a B....she's done for...toast..... :offtobed:

Nobody can buy that story because it didn't happen.
She is a Liar Liar Spiderman pants on fire

She sure showed some great self control when it came to throwing up though...she held it alllll the way home, until she got INTO her house

Naturally before my first cup of coffee I'm probably way more alert and clear then when the drugs flow. We can analyze her to death but I venture to guess most of us have been hurt in a relationship at one time in our lives, and we never cut their head off, sliced through the muscle, with blood dripping all over us, and the floor and mirrors, then lifted the gun and shot them through the head. Then slipped and tripped through puddles of blood after punching the knife through 29 times to go stick it in the dishwasher along with the brown sheets we dragged the guy around in. And tossed most the stuff in the desert on the way with our KY Lubricant to the next man's house to grind on him. SOMETHING IS WRONG WITH HER, NOT HIM.

Travis had issues himself. He would have known she was a time bomb, at the very least after the slashed tires. That's a giant red flag. That he kept seeing her even after that was an unhealthy choice.

Life isn't fair. It just isn't. But keep at the front of the situation the sheer nerve of someone to "take" another person's life.

Your Life? That is all we have when it comes down to it. Friends and jobs come and go. But we are given our life and nobody has a right to take that from us.

They take what is most precious to us, and the devastation spreads to everyone that knew us. They leave a lifetime of pain for everyone else.

Issues...we all might have some issues but hopefully nobody chops my head off and stuffs me in my shower

I would love to watch the part of Juan's cross that dealt with the magazine. Can someone give me an idea as to what part of the day this happened. That was Thursday, this is Sunday, and I can't even remember what I ordered at Starbucks yesterday much less when this questioning happened on Thursday LOL

I am curious what his sisters and friends saw in Jodi during the short period they dated they did not like wishing Travis to break it off or not be around her, etc? This is curiosity to me. Anyone have information about this? Much appreciate in advance.

I would think her going from meek, to confrontational to meek again would show all the jurors what an act she is putting on. She may start out meek tomorrow but I think once JM gets to her she will be confrontational again.jmo

I "think" it was toward the end of the day.

I know I haven't seen/read anything about Travis's sisters even ever meeting Jodi. Not to say they didn't.

I am thinking they lived in or about the Riverside, California area not far from me, and he moved to Arizona. My guess is they had little to no contact with her?

Yes Travis did have T shirts made up. IIRC tho there was a discrepancy as to when Travis had the shirts made up and the pic we have seen Jodi wearing it. Not speaking to the T shirt and undie pic. The pic of Jodi wearing the T shirt. Anyone remember that discussion here?

What does IIRC mean or stand for?
Thank you for your answer on the T shirts.

One thing is certain, JA's claim of self-defense went out the window when she said the gun went off by accident and she didn't even know her finger was on the trigger. So much for Wilmott's 'kill or be killed' scenario.

I know I haven't seen/read anything about Travis's sisters even ever meeting Jodi. Not to say they didn't.

Also, I don't think Travis had ever even met Jodi's mom. So his remark to her about "you are just like your mom" HAD to be something JODI had told him, and it was probably a lie to.

I've been riveted by this case ever since I saw the 48 Hours Mystery episode featuring JA. I'm very grateful for this site and the thoughtful, knowledgable people here who share my interest. :seeya: I'm fascinated watching the behavior of this sociopath testifying.

I've read most of the threads on the topic of this trial (over days!) but I may be repeating what others have said already;

* I've read a lot of criticism of the defense attorneys, yet I have to maintain respect for them in doing their jobs to the best of their ability. They are working with a manipulative, lying, violent offender who functions on the brink of what the rest of us consider to be reality. Although I do not believe in the fundamental basis of the defense, and I loathe the smearing of TA's name, I believe that they are following the lead of their client. I do believe in our system of the right to counsel and respect these attorneys for their position as such.

* Does anyone have knowledge of the police activity in regard to the weapons used in this crime? I would assume that they have or are scouring the area where Jodi might have discarded of them? I'm also guessing that after all these years its is no longer conceivable that the weapons would be found.

I am pretty sure it came in at the end of the day on Thursday...That is what he left off with.

I don't think that's fair. Most people who live with or love someone disordered are as unlikely to predict the actions of their loved one as anyone else. Perhaps even more so because so often disordereds are very capable of things normal people can't imagine doing to another human being. Your brain just doesn't work like theirs does.

There are a whole array of psychological assaults a psychopath or disordered is able to utilize against even their closest family and friends. Such a personality is quite likely to manipulate inherent human nature (such as trusting someone you love is basically good and honest). Even if they're fortunate enough to recognize warning signs before a tragedy help is largely elusive for the treatment of personality disorders. If Jodi were an adult when and if they realized something was wrong there is literally nothing they could have legally done. The only things that could have saved Travis' life after they met were if Jodi were dead, incarcerated, or moved onto a new victim.

When I left my disordered (likely psychopathic) ex I knew he was more than capable of extreme cruelty, psychological abuse, and constant threats of physical violence. However, I had absolutely no warning that within weeks of my leaving he would be stalking and cyberstalking me, attempt suicide in front of his 12 year old daughter, and drug then rape his sister's 14 year old daughter. I knew he was bad...I just didn't know how bad.

I have great empathy for Jodi's family...not because I hold compassion for my ex but because I have two children. One child still adores and idolizes his Daddy. My heart breaks for him all the time. Loving someone so void of any soul, so dark and depraved it defies definition altogether, isn't something I would wish on anyone. It steals a part of who you are - and leaves you exhausted, drained, and feeling both helpless and hopeless.

It's not so much what they did or didn't do before June 4/2008. For me it's the way they act in court. It makes me sick to my stomach.

Your welcome. IIRC= If I Remember Correctly. I just remember some discussion here regarding when Travis made up the shirts (blog) to the date on the Pic of Jodi wearing the T shirt.
