So far he has shown a pattern of stalking and obsessive behavior since she was a teen and thay she could have walked away from Travis anytime...that there was no need to kill him. He also showed she has Dory Syndrome any time she does not want to give an answer but this syndrome mysteriously clears up when she wants it to. It shows that none of what she said about Travis is true and this is what I keep seeing over and over. I also see premeditation with trying to have Ryan as an alibi. All these points were pretty easy to pick up IMO, I don't know about anyone else.

My son is sitting here with me watching IS where they showed her talking on the stand with Nurmi about the other incident where she went down the hall and TA grabbed her wrist.....my son looked at me and said "I saw that same thing happen on that "TEEN MOM show".....LOL

Someone said that something she said on the stand was the wording of some song. I can't remember the song. Oh, no.

I think Jaun needs to ask questions in a direct way....he is making statements and then saying "right"? "right"? It is confusing to me also....and then the skipping around is confusing. He needs to just ask a question and see what the answer is from her and go from there.

How much more direct can you get? He's asking her direct questions with the following options: "YES" or "NO".

He's not the problem, she is.

A lot of the most acrimonious part of today started when Martinez asked Jodi if it is true that she has no problem confronting anyone who she feels has wronged her. She said that it depended on how comfortable she was with the person. But she has no problem confronting the prosecutor, and I'm sure she's not too comfortable with him. On the contrary, she's very aggressive and competitive.

Sounds like he has a chance to sleep with her.

They claim they are. I just can't even talk to them, I get too heated and want to yell at them and drill some logic into their heads! From what our WS friends who get to be in the courtroom say, it doesn't seem like the jury is on JA's side so we'll see. Lets hope they make the right decision and let Travis and his family have some justice and peace.

I understand your frustration. I do think it makes a huge difference when you actually watch the trial vs hearing/reading about it.

IMO it was a waste, huge waste... If any new points were scored they were lost on me... It was torturous.

I missed the 1st hour -hand to handle an emergency. Watching the rest was just that- literal torture. Gave me a splitting headache. I'd guess that the jury was not "riveted" either, as Bk keeps saying. I hope they get that JM has to do as he's doing because the pathological liar sociopath can't be engaged any other way.

For the jury's sake I hope that JM's cross doesn't last much longer. The jury either likes or or doesn't like her at this point. They either see her as a liar or they don't. I have absolute faith in JM's abilities, but from my viewpoint sitting in my armchair, its time to body-slam her to the floor a few times with irrefutable evidence of her most significant and despicable lies, then show the jury each and every last photo of her slaughter, and wrap it up.

Like shooting fish in a barrel but Juan thinks he re-eventing the wheel and going over board. Nothing new just two kids fighting over the marbles.

Some of my friends think she will get 2nd degree because people will buy the abuse storyline. I'm tired of injustice. Ever since the FCA trial I vowed never to get invested in a trial again and now here I am. I pray the jury sees JA for the evil manipulative liar she is.

Amen to that! I still think JA will get 1st degree, though; I mean, she butchered Travis. If you're looking to take down an alleged abuser, you'd plug him between the eyes or in the heart, once, maybe twice. She slaughtered TA. Only a psychotic monster would do something like that. This woman just screams DERANGED.

As an aside, I'll bet Casey Anthony hates that Jodi Arias is stealing her thunder! HATES it. Heh.

I can't think of the song you are thinking of. But does the refrain go: " you are making my brain scramble?"

I want that on my T shirt.

I'll wait for HH and get 2. *slamming head into desk*

Good points. I hope the jury gets that too.

So when kids show some signs of this, pre-adolescence, what is the recommended treatment modality? Is there one?

therapy....lots of it. parenting classes and family therapy to help a parent learn how to set boundaries and help try to keep things on an even keel. In really bad cases sometimes meds are recommended. Diet changes may help. It won't work on every kid though....even in the best care sometimes wiring is what it is.

My Hubby took the day off......ugh. He can't understand why I am so aggrevated with Arias and her crap! He better be nice or I'll show him Travis's photos.

Lol, he already saw the pic of the rear end shot of Arias.....and said "what the heck? what's wrong with her hoo haa?"

:floorlaugh::floorlaugh: That's EXACTLY what my husband said when I showed it to him!!!:floorlaugh::floorlaugh:

They have my compassion as well but honestly, I believe it to be a very good thing. People come into superficial contact with psychopaths often.

It's an entirely different experience to encounter them in the midst of gaslighting, manipulation, deception, crazy-making and blame shifting. They'll be able to put themselves in a relationship of sorts with Jodi and have some understanding of what Travis faced.

It's something that really is indescribable. What better than for them to actually witness it for themselves.

MOO

I wish I had your fund of knowledge about these psych issues. I just looked up the definition of gas lighting and the article gave examples. Who is gas lighting? From the definition I read it seems like both JM and JA were both gas lighting. I realize it has to do mainly with abuse. Is jm trying to use JA's gas lighting back at her? TIA

'Dory syndrome'?! Love it, perfectly describes that woman on the stand! :floorlaugh:

So Jodi Arias told CBS after June 4, 2008, that Travis Alexander did not own a gun -- to her knowledge.

She gots more 'splainin' to do...

Right now I am seriously wondering how it could be that it isn't Travis on trial for murdering her.
