The judge said the sheriff's office is going to provide her with lunch. This is no longer an issue.

Wonder if she will show up with bruises tomorrow?

Yep, Nurmi totally instigated this whole thing. Why would she have gone to the stand after the break and THEN Nurmi came over, whispered in her ear and BAM she's hungry and has a headache......

If she is getting lunch every day, then Maricopa county should be highly offended at the accusation.

Ooops, never mind.

So, I go back to the fact that she hasn't had lunch for the whole trial, why complain now?

I haven't watched the tape so don't know if the discussion after the jury was excused was broadcast or the "seal" was on the screen.

The complaint was the sheriff's office has not provided her a lunch for the last 2 days.
The judge said she would look into it and let them know tomorrow.

I am rewatching NG and I just laughed my hiney off when they replayed today's testimony where JA says "Well...I don't want to ruin anyone's marriage. SHANNON CRABTREE PETERSON!" Nancy imitated her PERFECTLY! OMG that was hilarious!

Arias will step on anyone who gets in her way ... I'm convinced she would sell her own family out (a la FCA) if it meant improving her story at trial.

I figured it out. When Juan played the tape of her talking about how she loved Cinabons, she just had to have one, so she threw a hissy fit during the lunch break and Nurmi agrees that the craving for Cinaboms is enough to stop the trial. He rushes out to the mall and promises to save her one.

My daughter is in college and has a law class. Her Proffesor showed a clip of the trial. He was explaining something about the trial, but then made the comment that he was suprised that her Lawyer was laying with his feet up on the desk! Lol! He said times have changed!!

We'll find out if Nurmi starts the day tomorrow by asking for a mistrial...I wouldn't fall over in shock if he did.

But the defendant, at least, was aware of this issue. If she failed to mention it to her attorneys--or if they failed to bring it to the attention of the court--I don't think it will get far with the appellate courts.

I don't think she feels like eating, personally. She was not a happy camper yesterday at the close of court. Plus they ran over 7 minutes. I don't think she missed much in those 7 minutes. I just don't think she wanted to eat because she was upset. She sure was feisty this morning, as she was yesterday. jmo

Recently some TH was babbling on about the potential of her getting something less than LWOP-- I had flashes of her being up for parole in however many years... doesn't matter when. If she is ever given that opportunity, I don't care if it's in 40 years and she's 71, in a wheelchair, and crippled-- she should NEVER be let free into society again. For society's protection, for punishment, for justice, for Travis' family's safety.

I can see her manipulating a parole board successfully if she gets the chance. That cannot happen. The jury can't give her that opportunity. I can also see her manipulating other prisoners and/or prison staff and getting violent with someone there. DP is really most appropriate for her.

100% - whatever it takes !!.... DP and isolation seem to be the "safest" choice. :moo:

Yes, Martinez started firing questions at her, she started to fire back and then shoot out a line of sarcastic stuff...it got heated

all of a sudden afternoon break was called. They returned and her attorneys said she was so sick with a migraine she can't continue.. and it was due to not being allowed to eat until 6pm.. 4am and 6pm. Nothing in between and they said something like, at times when trial ran over, she even missed her evening dinner

So they called it a day...

For me that would be almost worse than death row! Sista here needs to each every few hours or I can't function!

I'm on the side where I truly believe inmates should be able to have meals - even if it's a crappy meal.

Yeah, as I was taking my Excedrin migraine (as many as I like, because I can) and then my hot shower and snuggled up in my feather bed trying to fight off my migraine earlier I thought the same thing. I'd rather DIE than sit in jail and live her crappy life.

I went to Pilates the other day and my instructor said 'I'm so glad you weren't here an hour ago.' Seems a client was there who's a big jodi fan. Totally believes her BS. My instructor said she almost had to change rooms.

They are out there. I just hope there isn't one (or more) on that jury.

There are some in the courtroom. I met one who travels from New Mexico to be here for the trial.

Jodi's photography skills are mediocre. I think it'd be good to point that out to her.

She took so few pics of Travis alone, seemed to always take them together, and then that last day she took lots of pics without her in them. No pics of them together except her foot in the dragging pic. I don't get it. Why?

The shower pics, however, are not just bad photography. No, she had a hidden agenda and a camera. She took those pics as either a ploy to get him where he'd be off guard or maybe he didn't know she had come back and hid to take them.

Jodi is so twisted sneaky that I can't think like her. Still haven't heard anything about her own camera she took into his house and left with pics on it, but I bet she has other pics.

She got him in the shower under the pretense of taking the pictures. She expected him to die in the shower and have all the evidence flow down the drain, but it didn't go like she planned. My opinion.

Correct, but Travis kept coming back for more and he paid with his life.

I have no doubt in my mind that jodi introduced travis to anal sex. with her history of anal sex and her constant bending of truth i can see her telling travis although the mormon faith says no sex before marriage it doesn't say anal sex travis, it doesn't say bj's does it travis. sadly he let her use word games and manipulation to gain control over him. she is disgusting and i hope they give her the needle. I find it odd that she acted so repulsed on direct about him shooting a load on her face yet she's gushing about mouth hugs and taking a face shot with joy. she is a walking contradiction.

I think it has always been 4:30 AZ time but if it went a little over, so be it. But that was the general time. But, as Nurmi so eloquently put it, 'as long as 4:30 is the drop dead time' (or something to that effect) meaning no later than that (I guess so JA can eat dinner?)

I'm an appellate attorney and I can tell you that trial attorneys almost always call me way too late.

You should be a commentator for HLN or InSession, especially because you are local.
