May 5th Jodi last comments on Travis' blog. May 18th Travis posts blog entry 'Why I Want to Marry A Gold Digger' (actually a very sweet post about dating with marriage in mind). First week of June Travis mentions to friends he believes Jodi hacked his facebook. According to rmt's timeline he tells her to stay out of his life forever. And he's dead within days.

I really hope they have the texts and emails available from May onwards. I think his last blog post was a catalyst for her.

New theory here: she had Plan A and Plan B. Plan A was to blackmail him with pictures/poses as a last-ditch effort for him to take her to Cancun and/or 'keep' her as a girlfriend. Or give her the BMW? She wanted *something*. Plan B was kill him if it didn't go as planned.

I'm still learning towards murder being her intent all along, but with the pictures, I'm entertaining the idea of blackmail...

I think it's too late to offer a plea of not guilty by reason of insanity. She's stuck.
 
Did Travis own the house or was he renting? I was just curious. He had roommates but I've known of homeowners to get roomies to help with the mortgage.

It's not easy being a lefty.

Statistics show left-handed people are more likely to be schizophrenic, alcoholic, delinquent, dyslexic, and have Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis, as well as mental disabilities. They're also more likely to die young and get into accidents. So if evolutionary theory dictates survival of the fittest, why do lefties still exist?

I'm trying to understand why there were different deposits to different accounts, and why the defense bothered to show the jury there were two different accounts money was deposited to? SO WHAT?

The prosecution was simply showing the dates and times, not so much why she deposited money.

I can't understand what the defense is doing.

Frankly I dont think Jodi has much emotion accept anger and revenge. She certainly has no logic and common sense. That is a given even after the murder had long happened. Her lies are grandiose but they say pathological liars believe everyone will believe them without question.

Just listen to her talk weeks or months later......piling on more lies on top of lies and she does it with ease.

Anger is an emotion, that's what I'm talking about. She had plenty of it, evidently.

Was any money stolen from her grandparent's house, any items she could have sold or pawned on her trip?

Owner, his house was foreclosed on too, after his death.
 
Looking at the timeline...once they broke-up JA went in full stalker mode and continued to escalate until the end. The only end to this scenario could have only ever have been if JA ended up in jail or one of them ended up dead. Nothing, not even an RO would have helped. The time-lime is too clear.
 
Also a lefty as is my entire family. Thankfully none of us suffer any of the above mentioned ailments.

But statisticallly more people die from fatal car accidents from completely sober drivers over drunk drivers. So, I take statistics with a grain of salt :)

He owned it. It didn't sell after his death and went to foreclose where it sold for like 6k or 9k more than the asking price

Ty for the info. I just had a passing curiosity about it. Such a sad case. He was born and raised in poverty, he was able to carve a nice life out for himself and then JA happened. :(

I don't think insanity will work under the law. The crime appears to be premeditated and she tried to clean up, and cover up which shows conscience of guilt.

I think she/they were typical for that time period in Cali. It was brutal, prolly bought high and tried to sell low. It's been as I said, brutal. Especially in less than desirable towns.
