Thank you for posting that link bobloblaw. I am now fully absolved from feeling one iota of empathy for Jodi's immediate family. That woman is banking on another twelve people who also live somewhere where it is to hot to think straight for her sister to wiggle out from under the mountain of evidence that clearly shows the brutality of the slaying.

Cuckoohead, I'm not so certain that the sister, or any family member, is running that site.

What does a lazy eye, or lack thereof, have to do with anything? I try to never judge anyone on their physical appearance. My ex-SIL (Who is Mormon and very pretty) did some time in Sheriff Joe's prison, for embezzelment. A newpaper interviewed her and some of her fellow jail friends and my SIL stated that she missed her Clinique! Kind of OT, but I learned then to never judge anyone by their looks or wealth (or appearance of).

What does a lazy eye have to do with this trail/crime? Nothing. But for me looking at her photos and mug shot it would explain why I feel she isn't looking right at the camera. My youngest daughter had a lazy eye and most of her photos before she had surgery have a slightly unfocused look. If Jodi doe not have anything wrong with her eyes then IMO it still looks like she is not totally focused on her picture being taken and perhaps something in her head or her surroundings is more important and has her attention.

You are wrong to judge me as someone who is poking fun at someone for their appearance or lack of wealth. I believe when I see JA I am seeing a psychopath and I want to see if there are any tell tale signs to recognizing one such as a faraway look in their eyes.

Sorry about the macabre. If there was any other way to say what happened to Travis without it being so graphic but I am rather analytical and am wondering aloud how the murder may have taken place which gives ZERO wiggle room for the defendant to pull the ' I was battered and in self defense, afraid for my life so I had to cut him to shreds' BS.

Frankly I think Travis may have been afraid of Jodi. Of what she was capable of doing. I would be. If someone was hacking my accounts, slashing my tires, threatening my girlfriend and slipping between my sheets at three am without my okay I would be very nervous. I'd be sleeping with a gun.

Jodi's mug shot always amazes me. She actually looks gleeful. I now know what I thought looked strange about her face and that is that it could be a mannequin's so flat and unemotional. Does she also have a lazy eye?

Hi, Cuckoohead. No apologies for the macabre. That was all Jodi's work.

I agree with your statements. I would be frightened of post-breakup Jodi.

Jodi has always seemed to aim at self-possession. I think that had something to do with her insistence on (stupidly) giving media interviews while evidence was still developing.

There is a picture that was taken after the body was removed from the shower. You can see a cub in the shower that she used to clean his body with water and also the imprint of his head on the right side of the shower wall as you face the shower. On the gather sight it is very hard to make out the body position because the trunk of the body is bloated (sorry). But after starring at it hard enough and long enough you can tell his leg/lower half of his body is towards the left side of the shower. jmo

However, the prosecution did in fact state that he was sitting down and she was above him when she shot him above the right eyebrow area down towards his left cheek.

I haven't seen the photo you are describing popsicle. What you say does make it sound impossible for the gunshot to have happened like they say. That shower stall looks like a small, one person stand up unit. No seat. I don't see how that shot could happen if Travis's body had the right side of his face facing the back of the shower stall. Hopefully the pieces to this will fall into place with additional testimony. :)

Oh man! Harvest that would be too wicked! Now I'm back to feeling sorry for Jodi's family, if they aren't all cut from the same cloth...

Hi, Cuckoohead. I think that other people have commented on the possible lazy eye for the same reason you did.

In college, I had a friend who had a lazy eye when she became very tired. It had no real effect on her, but I think that it's possible that for someone like Jodi who seems to have been obsessed with establishing and keeping a relationship, it might have increased her urgency and underlying anxiety.

It's such a sad case. Over the years, I've known a few people (both women and men) who could not handle breakups. And I have known people (again both men and women) who, like Travis, made inexplicable decisions when they should have known better.

Cuckoohead - I kept feeling that the evidence that the prosecution was bringing in yesterday was almost disjointed. I was thinking to myself "what's your point?". I'm hopeful that they are being methodical, and that the pieces will eventually come together. I just hope they don't lose the jury in their presentation.

I can rarely find what I am looking for but luckily i did this time.

The defense tried to bring this into evidence at trial yesterday, but only a portion of it (the portion that made TA look bad). The prosecution very quickly brought more of it in in their cross. The defense focused in on TA's statements that she was a "three hole wonder" etc. The prosecution put it more into context with TA's statement that he felt "like a human dildo".

I wish we could read the entire exchange. Too bad they don't have the same sunshine laws as Florida. We're only given bits and pieces.

I thought that was a very dangerous move by the defense. Once you open that door it's really hard to close it back up again. And it could backfire on them for two reasons 1) a jury doesn't take too kindly to bashing a victim 2) they especially don't like the bashing if they feel they are being manipulated or lied to by the attorneys with the "bashing" evidence.
It appears her attorneys only sought to enter into evidence a narrow piece of that conversation and in doing so made it appear they didn't want to provide the context of the conversation. Which they didn't and in my opinion it backfired on them and to some degree they might loose credibility with the jury.

I had noticed that during the initial entering of the conversation by her attorneys that Jodi's mother (at least I think it was her mother the camera often would pan to her) had a completely inappropriate huge grin on her face while her attorneys were saying that Travis was not a good man and was abusive. Needless to say on redirect her Mother looked none too pleased when a larger portion of the conversation was entered into evidence. She looked pissed.

I know it seems completely boring but it's absolutely necessary. That technician gathered all the evidence in the home. So she will have to testify to the evidence she gathered or photographed and testify to their authenticity. The interesting stuff will come later when the actual people who tested the evidence takes the stand. But first they have to enter in each item.

Wanting to give this Mom the benefit of the doubt, she may only know what her psychopath daughter has told her. I did notice yesterday that she seemed to have some sort of head phones on. At least on her left ear, it was nothing small but rather large like a stereo headphone. *shrug*

Hi, PrincessSezMe. I have heard very, very little of the trial, but I can agree with your hopes about being methodical. For me, it was the O.J. Simpson trial that convinced me that juries need to have narratives set directly and economically before them. In this case, they don't need much: the ferocity and gore of this terrible crime; Jodi's obsession with Travis; the lead-up including the theft of the gun and secret visit; the forensic evidence and her changing alibi as it was released.

Victim pic in shower stall ....right foot and left knee touching wall - right knee looks like touching the wall. JA places hand over nose and up to foehead - eyes closed.

Exhibit #78 - victims boy - vic in shower stall. #2, #3, #4 - hairs found around
Exhibit #79 - item 2 placard - white baseboard trim stained w/what appears to be blood - blood on floor (JA looks as if she is attempting tocry? looking somewhat ill - peers up) she is dep breathing, left hand to side of face,

Exhibit #228 - towel from master bath - open package to make sure. JA loos away hand to side of ear - deep breaths, hand over eyes,

Witness says single towel #228 - Bianca from mundotextile

JA wipes nose w/folded kleenex, again.

Towel from washer - Bianca concepts by mundotextile - labels match..... matching towels but different in shades and one is spotted - one is not. (bleach spots)

Quoting myself ...(sorry for all the typo's folks)
This was what the witness was saying about the picture of Travis in the shower stall.

I found the picture posted online @ news dot gather dot com

It is a graphic picture and I am warning everyone if you do not want to see it then do not go looking. This picture was shown in court yesterday (although I am not sure it was televised) and has been shown on NG as well.

MOO clearly the mind of a completely unfeeling, unaffected, cool, calm, and collected psychopath. :chilling:

she is like a freaky Blanche Dubois type, speaking so sensibly, regarding the locking of doors and the slashing of tires...gives me the creeps...she tries to lull you, it all makes so much sense.

So maybe Travis is a player, sounds like he has zero respect for women and was toying with Jodi for a while because he liked being a bad boy. There are a lot of guys like Travis...you break up with them...you take your lumps...

while I am interested in the abusive email, I think the motive was rage at the vacay.

she must never see the world outside.

JSR - You're right. I guess I'm thinking back to how the prosecution presented their case in the Anthony trial. There was so much drama in the opening days of that trial.

Hopefully the jury in the Arias case is better able to grasp the case the prosecution is trying to build. It's unfortunate that the jury in the Casey Anthony trial has made us all a bit skeptical of juries in general. They seemed to lose interest when the forensic evidence came into it.

Guess it will be some time before I stop comparing other cases to that one. After all, Scott Peterson is sitting where he belongs isn't he? And not only does the Arias case have a body, and a cause of death, she took her own crime scene photos. Pretty hard to negate that. I guess the only thing her defense can do is paint her the victim, and I'm not sure how successful they can possibly be with that. Overkill is an understatement.
