Kathi Belich as a Defense Witness? Seriously?

IDK, but the local stations can be googled - WESH, WKMG, WFTV, Fox35 Orlando. They usually stream live.

Is there a way to tape the live stream on a computer? I can't be home to watch the live stream 8-5 every day, and even when it's just a short hearing, it takes quite a while for the local stations to post it online after the fact. I'm concerned the stations won't be able to post 8 hours worth of trial every day. Sometimes members here have taped hearings themselves and posted them on WS. Is there anyway we can arrange a system to have that done for the trial?

And yeah, I'd so love for Baez to be steaming as his career completely tanks while Kathi Belich gets nothing but promotions. That would be awesome. I can see him breaking his television one night, tired of seeing her all over the national nightly news, LOL.

Logicalgirl, I just tried it on my Mac and it didn't work. A google search tells me that it's for Windows only. Hopefully we can find something similar for a Mac.

I've seen a similar link before and I've seen others say they really like it. I don't know why but I have problems everytime I try to open it. I think it is my pop-up blocker but when I try to override it and give it permission to d/l it just gives me a blank page. Oh, and I am not on a Mac. I am using Windows.

Once I can open them, I will copy the links to a sticky thread soon so we have quick, one-stop access.

I can only get it so far. It takes about 1/2 hour to download. And it works for a few minutes but then stops. Very frustrating.

If anyone has an alternate for mac-types I'd greatly appreciate it too. I've just been going with WFTV, which is ok but not great.

Logicalgirl, I just tried it on my Mac and it didn't work. A google search tells me that it's for Windows only. Hopefully we can find something similar for a Mac.

Thanks knt, with the software we have these days with "Windows" it is supposed to be seamless, but I guess that's a tech language for "still not the same" or something.

But you have saved me the frustration of fiddling around with it when the hearing has already started - like I did last time. Thanks.

Yes, I've always been grateful the links are up as we are counting down to the start of the hearing time, but some of the stations seem to have problems, like the audio last time on (I think) wftv, so I end up frantically looking for something else.

Does anyone else on a Mac have a link they use that has been a failsafe for them or is it the same for all of us? I use my Safari browser rather than Firefox so I'm not concerned about pop-up blockers or anything of that nature.

I know this is off topic but is it possible to have a daily summary thread when the trial starts? I saw one a few weeks ago and loved it as even though I absolutely adore reading the coverage and comments I find it overwhelming when it's 6 pm here and I see 700 posts and counting! I know that's a lot to ask as I see how much research and dedication members already put out on here.

I also love the many links and have always had success with every one of them. Thankyou to all that provide links and resources.

I have been searching for the video threads all in one place. I have availablity to TruTV, but some of the links are touchy and not syncronized. I find myself taking headphones off and and on, moving from computer to tv, muting tv, muting computer...Lordy. All I want to do is watch the hearings then the trial. Whatever happened to watching a trial without interruption?

As far as the topic, I think that Kathi is wonderful reporter. Do I think she will end up testifying for the defense? Nooooooooo. The reason? HJP and the SA are far too intelligent to see exactly what the defense is up to and IMO, that is to keep Kathi out of the courtroom. In addition IMO, the defense has about as much intelligence as a soap on a rope<<< tried to convey my opinion as nicely as possible.

I'm running Windows 7 Ultimate (professional) and the link you provided is working well; if that helps anyone with the same operating system I have. The link you provided is the one that works best for my system overall, actually. Thanks much for posting the link :goldstar::smile:. During all of these long years waiting for this trial to begin, I've been testing every link possible.

Also, if it helps anyone; prior to viewing a hearing, I clear all cookies, temp. files, defrag. the drive and perform other maintenence tasks to try and avoid problems with viewing a video. I forgot to do these steps once while trying to view a hearing and had a terrible time having any of the links work properly.

This probably is not the best place to post this, but Beach is going to compile the links all in one place...so maybe when that is done this post will end up there, I dunno. Maybe I get into big trouble, but I hope not. Again, sorry OT, but I saw a chance to potentially help someone out.

You might have ABP (red stop sign at upper right hand corner, green rippled circle with ABP if disabled) installed. (BTW - I love it but disable it for all news and forums I belong to)

Anyway, make sure that it is disabled when using above link.
