I am liberal but he is right and that makes sense. some ppl are just addicted to drama.

I know a lot of people hate Fox news, and even more probably hate Greg Gutfeld, but he said something the other day that was so insightful that I had to back it up so I could record it and play it for my teenage/young adult sons. I can't upload the video, but I'm going to subject myself to serious flaming by transcribing it:

I think that rings true for a lot of millennials. Flame away! ;)

Just read article in Salina Post about funeral services. Was saddened to learn he is expecting a baby this winter. One more child will have to grow up without a parent. Husband and I were talking about another murder case last nite, a husband killed his wife and is on the run. I could never kill anybody just because I didn't want them in my life. And this is another case of a person killing his wife and not even thinking that he killed his two son's mother. That just proves to me he didn't give a hoot about them, either. I guess if some can kill anyone, they don't have the ability to care about anyone except themselves. My thoughts go out for Capt. Dave and his family and friends.

So a crowd of more than 1,000 — including law enforcement officers from across the country — gathered at Children’s Mercy Park again Saturday to mourn another Kansas City, Kan., police officer killed while serving the city.

By creating the protocol manual, Melton had written his own funeral ceremony.

“Dave, I hope we’ve made you proud,” said Zeigler, his voice breaking. “We’re very proud of you. Rest now, brother. We’ll take it from here.”

Memorial service for Melton reveals the man behind the badge

KANSAS CITY, Kan. -- It was a touching memorial service on Saturday for Capt. Dave Melton as family and friends, legions of police, and members of the public filed into Children's Mercy Park to pay their last respects to the officer who was shot and killed on July 19 responding to a report of a drive-by shooting.

At tonight’s Unified Government Commission meeting, a sister-in-law of slain Capt. Robert David Melton took Mayor Mark Holland to task for remarks he made at a news conference July 20.

While she thanked the UG for support and prayers, Lynn Melton also said she had two questions for Mayor Holland. She addressed the mayor during the UG Commission meeting, with John Melton at her side.

“You, Mayor Holland, stated at a press conference on July 20, 2016, less than 24 hours after Capt. Melton’s death, to a grieving family of both blood and blue, and to the entire community, and I quote you, ‘We have seen the loss of innocent lives at the hands of police,’” Lynn Melton said.

She said that led to two questions, “Could you please provide for the record the names of these people?” and “Why would you use this press conference to attack the very organization that protects you, your family and your church, 24-7 at taxpayers’ expense, as well as protects our community?”

The Kansas City, Kansas, mayor has apologized to the family of a police captain who was fatally shot this summer while investigating a drive-by shooting.

The Kansas City Star reports that Mayor Mark Holland said during a commission meeting Thursday that he “would never intentionally introduce controversial comments during a time of grief” and that he was “deeply sorry” for that.
