I can't believe JH is entertaining "these people", they are inserting themselves into the situation that has absolutely nothing to do with them. He has let them into his home, given them things of Lucas, let them control a and they go and visit e.g. in jail. I am shocked and worried all at the same time. They have no business being involved at all.

Sounds like Billie Jean Dunn (Hailey Dunn's mother). She was famously quoted after Hailey disappeared as saying, "Every day they don't find Hailey is a good day for me."

Hailey was eventually found, deceased, but to this day no one has been arrested for her murder.

Boom! That's what I've wondered about! Is it a they? Do they visit EG in jail? These people are EG sympathizers imo. That's what makes them controlling the monies questionable.

There's nothing to indicate he cares about his children in the least. He ignored reports of abuse from family. His daughter is now in state custody and he's not fighting to get her back - he's willing to allow the child-losing-child-abusing-child-endangering-drug-doing-pregnant-woman to come right on back home when she gets out of jail, and that's not going to help being their daughter home. He wasn't even willing to help EG pay her child support for her boys which would have shown a smidge of them actually caring about those boys. It's the least he could do since she was raising his son alone the majority of the time.

Yeah, getting custody of the new baby is definitely not on JH's radar.

No, we don't see his actions show concern for children. But I think he probably would tell us he is an awesome dad and might have some macho possessiveness about his kids, I guess I'm thinking. He can't admit he was wrong about her, which makes him believe her lies?

I surely didn't mean to ruffle feathers. I don't think he has the tools to parent them, but I thought he was still a victim and all that. I just know my SO became overprotective, maybe even controlling in some ways, when I was pregnant with "his" child. So maybe him *thinking* he has a shot at the baby without EG would get him to open up to the truth of who she is and what she's done.

Are we able to get permission to change JH's victim status on the forum? Maybe within certain parameters?

Thanks, that's what I thought. While I am not shocked by any of this at all, it just amazes me that he's being so open about it now for the world to see. Wow.

Okay everyone, I spoke with Tricia and we are going to allow some sleuthing of JH. Given the events of the past day or so in particular, with the and the conflicting statements from JH to the media, it is time to delve a little deeper into JH's past.

I want to be very clear that we are not going to allow general maligning of JH's character and we are not going to allow anyone to accuse JH of disappearing Lucas. The police have not indicated that JH is a suspect in Lucas' disappearance.

What we will allow is discussion of JH's statements to the media, speculation about why he is behaving and acting as he is (e.g., saying that he will take EG back if she gets out of jail, stating shortly after Lucas disappeared that his family shouldn't be bringing up abuse, leaving his son with a woman who lost custody of her own sons due to abuse allegations, etc.). We will also allow discussion of the affidavit released pertaining to the alleged abuse JH perpetrated against EG's sons with her ex. If JH has a criminal record that may also be sleuthed (with links).

Please do not veer into wild speculation and please use links wherever possible.

We have no reason to think that LE has stopped looking for Lucas. Texas Equusearch has said they plan to return to Wichita if needed.

I'm not against the idea of a PI, but I don't understand why now is the time to hire one. LE isn't going to be able to share much at this point since the investigation is open and active.

Just got caught up. Reading the FB comments from the recent KAKE post.....just let me insert my facepalm here :/ I did see a comment from ALR and the subcomments, MTT posted something in regards to the JC that is interesting. I want to comment more on that but don't think I can and don't want to get in trouble so playing it safe.


I see a lot of you saying you are sitting on your hands and I wish I knew why, ack! I know you can't say, work has been crazy and I am doing good to keep caught up on reading.


Off to work again. Poor Lucas. All I can hope is now that the weather is changing a little, more people will be out and about and mowing and tending to their land. Maybe, just maybe, our sweet Lucas will be found.

I'm not sure when he found out. But, based on everything else, I'd say he definitely thinks he is the father. He has believed her with much worse. But that's just my two cents.
