Hate to say this but does Casey Anthony ring a bell here? Certainly they've checked ALL cars. And w/ cadaver dogs? I mean, I'd have Dad's car checked too.

Also, I know at some landfill sights they have a "spotter" who watches the trash coming out of the trucks, specifically for dead bodies. Jack Wheeler was found that way. (May he rest in peace) It was in Newark, Delaware. (No not NJ).

Interesting how some landfills employ "spotters"...
Watching for bodies...

GREAT idea! :thumb:

or a moving truck. I'm not saying anyone did anything to him because I have to hold out hope for my own sanity however, the moving a week prior is throwing me off a bit.
Yes I agree. Always hold out hope. But in the meantime, eliminate other possibilities.

The moving a week prior gets me too.
I wonder if something happened in the old house and before anyone got wise to that fact, they moved out. Maybe they didn't figure it would go this far.

The FBI’s Child Abduction Rapid Deployment Team is on the case, but no Amber Alert - doesn’t add up. I’m glad to hear they have an upwards of 100 personnel working the case, using drones, canines, searching on foot and horseback and searching parks and river. Please let this be different than what we’ve learned to expect.

I wonder if they have evidence that this actually may be an abduction after all and that is why the FBI Abduction team has been deployed? Could the stepmom or g/f have passed her polygraph, I wonder?

Oh gosh, this doesn't make me feel one bit better about little Lucas' outcome though. It congers up so many nightmarish images of when little 6 year old Christopher Barrios was abducted in his own neighborhood while he was outside playing alone. Are there sex offenders living close by where he lives? tia

The statistics on abducted children turnout to be devastating for the abducted children. These statistics are based on verified cases where it was known it was an abduction and the offender/relationship if any of the children known.

44% of the time the abductor was a total stranger to the child, and 42% of the time the child knew their abductor including neighbors or acquaintances. Only 14% of the time was a parent or family member involved if the child was abducted and later on found deceased. I hate to even write that but there seems to be a possibility this really could be an abduction.

But the other possibility for Lucas is just as bad to consider if someone close to him in his own home that he trusted has hurt him. 95% of all abused children are victims of those they reside with or someone they knew well and trusted. Most often the abuse/neglect and xxxxxx happens inside of their homes though by parents or a live in.

I keep hoping someone has him far away safe but I know that is wishful thinking and is rarely the case but I will keep hoping and praying for a miracle.

He has been gone way too long now. My prayers are with Lucas and especially those who truly love him, like FindLucasAllen. It has to be the worst times of their lives. I cant begin to comprehend how devastating it is for them.

I have an adorable 5 year old great grandson myself, and I tear up just thinking about little Lucas. He should be home, happy, running, and playing enjoying his life.

Please find this precious little boy and bring him home.

IMO

I have no idea how moving companies work. Surely they have to know that X person rented X truck, right? Or is that not something they would keep ledger of?

At places like Uhaul, you sign a contract and the vehicles ID #s are on the contract, same as with car rental places.

I figured that would be the case with larger companies, but what about small places? Surely they have the same protocol.

Is that an additional/separate team to the one that's been here from the beginning? If so, very interesting.

How did I miss this part?

Search continues for missing Wichita boy
[....]

She says Lucas told his great grandmother he was being hit and kicked. That's when Rasmussen says, she reported the potential abuse to the Department for Children and Families in Kansas. She says she made this report last spring and she has not seen Lucas since then.

It's popped in to my head several times that it could have been his step-siblings that were doing that....but that is PURE speculation on my part.

I would think so with insurance requirements, but I am just assuming.

If Lucas isn't located before this weekend, there are a few places we want to check out. If anyone has a place they would like us to look at, let me know.

:loveyou:You and Mr Pink are the best!

Some possible locations to check (all somewhat close to one another):

And any similar locations you notice. Hoping and praying you never get a chance to go to these places. :praying:

I find it rather odd how people still don't know what information is needed for an Amber Alert, after all these years.

I guess I should have explained or stated differently. I know what is required for an Amber Alert. However, I don’t agree with the requirements. IMO there should be an Amber Alert issued in some cases that don’t meet the requirements. I don’t think there’s a “one size fits all” when it cones to Amber Alerts. MOO

Or at school? The kicking part does sound like something kids would do more than an adult. Speculation, thinking aloud.

I really don't know, Flute. I am just now coming into this thread and saw the article.

Has LE said they do not believe Lucas was abducted or hinted at it? I havent had the time to watch the PCs they have held. tia

From what I saw this afternoon, you really can’t search these areas. There are no sidewalks so you can’t be “just taking a walk”.

This case is strange as they are asking the public to NOT search. They only want us to share the story on social media. They are keeping people away from areas that LE is actively searching.

I know the investigators are tired, and fearful and are giving it their all. Yet I want to shout FIND LUCAS!!! I can't imagine the heartache, and anxiety of those that love him. We're on pins and needles and have never met him.

Thank you! I will show this to him this evening so he can figure it all out.

I think all states are different in their requirements. Some follow the original AA directive to a T and other states tweek it a little bit.
