2 autopsy’s bring the police back to the home last night and word is, lucas’s death happened in the homes bathroom....

I’m going with, she drowned him!

I’ve always thought this scenario a possibility. She mentioned baths in her written statement. It was a key part of her timeline. There are always hidden meanings in people’s lies. Even liars experience stress when they lie. That’s why it’s difficult to fabricate an entire direct statement. Their lies include deceptive tactics such as diversion, explanations before anyone asks for one, virtue-signaling, ingratiation and blame sharing. Another often used technique to lie is by using temporal lacunae deception methods; using missing gaps of time as seen by phrases such as “the next thing I know” and “later on” as well as “after” or any other term that spans time. I predict I will spend some time revisiting her interview and written statements later on. A liar has nothing but contempt for the world and everybody in it. She needs a DOC gif with her name in the dictionary under Liar.

I am just now listening to the new NG interview w/JH. Don't know what to think right now....
Just so sad and downright sickening to me that no matter what JH thought then or thinks now (and I don't know yet about the "now") he had to know Lucas was being abused.

Agree. When I was legally smoking pot for my medical condition, I looked healthier than I'd looked in years. I gained a little weight, filled out some, my hair got thicker because of my improved diet, etc. Some pot smokers get glazed eyes but there's definitely a physical difference between those on meth and those on weed.

JH: He has staunchly defended EG and it would be very believable if he never talked to LH like he claimed on the 15th. By nature, he seems incredibly un-observant.

Landlord: the landlord has never gone public to my knowledge about what he saw or didn’t see at the house. But LE has— wasn’t this information included in EGs trial? We know he was there on the Olive Garden night when she drove high to meet him, but has it been confirmed that Lucas was there and alive?

I don’t think NG would just toss out incorrect information without good sources. I think some people should be concerned about losing their jobs, but I don’t think this was pulled from thin air.. I’m also still not agreeing it’s all correct.

Assuming for conjecture's sake that NG's mention of 10th/11th is accurate, what kinds of things would MEs/pathologists look at that could indicate such a specific date of death after Lucas had been gone for such a long period of time?

I don’t think the new date comes from the coroner’s office. It’s more likely that it came from a tip.

She may have asked for an attorney when police questioned her after she was arrested at the scene. Sometimes that attorney will attach as your PD - at least temporarily, especially since it's likely they know she qualifies for a PD, since she just had one a week or 2 prior. I would bet that person is who escorted her out, and they were done representing her upon her release.

I was just re-reading some stuff and I felt the need to remind you all that through EG's 4 initial interviews with LE she was unemotional and falling asleep.
Seems her "panic" had subsided quite nicely.

At the 49:00 mark in the podcast, NG claims that there have been 2 autopsies completed, which resulted in an LE search of the home's bathroom last night and a death date of the 10th/11th. She doesn't cite sources, just says "unconfirmed" and "we're hearing". SGCO DA has put out a statement (linked upthread) saying they do not have autopsy results & disputing the claims made by NG.

This is what we are learning at this hour. Reportedly, police back at Lucas Hernandez' home just last night investigating again.

There are claims two autopsies have been completed on the child.

All we know right now is it is now believed, based on autopsy two, that five-year old Lucas died the 10th or 11th in a bathroom.

How do we know this? As of yet unconfirmed, but something about the autopsy or the late night search last night seems to indicate Lucas was killed in the home's bathroom.

The biggest problem I have believing he could have died from complications of influenza is Lucas was never reported to have signs and symptoms of influenza. (There can have stomach issues, however, this is usually caused by drainage and is not constant vomiting.)

Not saying that I believe the flu story, but this year's flu was crazy. Despite a flu shot, my 6-year-old daughter got it. She went from being perfectly fine to having a 105-degree temperature and being hospitalized over night. She never had ANY other symptoms-no body aches, no tummy trouble, etc. There were zero signs that she was sick outside of her extraordinarily high fever which came on very quickly. The pediatrician in the hospital said that she'd probably been sick for days up to the point in which she was hospitalized. Talk about feeling guilty-we'd had no idea there was anything wrong. She'd already developed a bacterial infection by the time we took her to the ER for the high fever that wasn't responding to Tylenol or Motrin. If we'd waited even a few more hours, it might have been too late. I've dealt with flu stuff for years, have been through it with my son at least half a dozen times, and have never seen anything like this. While she was hospitalized, several other kids were brought in for the same time. The doctors said that it had been like that all winter-kids going from no symptoms to being intubated over night.

for any ME experts, how narrow of a timeline can death be? can it really be as narrow as 24-48hrs after 3 months? i am sure this varies greatly based on a myriad of factors but these are the two things i am trying to get at:

1. is it possible NG provided credible insight from a tip she received but Lucas still passed on the 16-17th? perhaps the ME performing Lucas' autopsy saw something (such remaining signs of an internal injury) that shows passing likely to be earlier in feb (hence the 10th/11th mention) but Lucas' young body was able to hang a few more days and actually didnt pass until the 16th/17th?

2. if #1 is scientifically possible, while it is frustrating how some of this information is being leaked, could this strengthen the argument in court she abused Lucas? re if there is something very specific or alarming in his autopsy that isnt necessarily from abuse but possibly is (such as remains of either internal or external injuries), this could give LE a new angle to evaluate exactly what happened? maybe they have and thats where the bathroom comes into play?

that being said, i think its very likely NG mixed up the dates. but just thinking about all options

I can imagine other inmates making a ruckus just for her. I've heard of being done in other child abuse, Murder cases. Even the most hardened criminals don't like her kind.

Could it be that the reason LE dropped the Lucas charges at the time they charged EG for MH is because they knew...he was already dead and thus she did not abandon him at home at that time.
