Five years and a month after the disappearance of Crystal Rogers, the FBI has taken over the investigation and is launching a new search for the 35-year-old Kentucky mother of five.

More than 150 state and federal law enforcement officers on Thursday were executing nine federal search warrants and will be conducting more than 50 interviews in Bardstown, Kentucky, the FBI said in a press release.

The FBI has now executed search warrants at Brooks Houck's home, Nick Houck's home and the Houck family farm. Witnesses tell me some members of the Houck family left their properties with FBI agents. We know the FBI is now conducting interviews. No update on when/if arrests could happen.

#CrystalRogers We’re at the Houck Family farm in Nelson Co. FBI, KSP and even some Texas Game Warden vehicles are here. REALLY hard to see anything from where we are. Also not much commotion. Just law enforcement driving up and down the road.

It appears search warrants have wrapped up for now. Law enforcement is gone and now, Brooks Houck is mowing is lawn. Keep in mind, multiple news agencies are here....watching him.

I find it a bit odd that the IRS has also been brought into this investigation. I wonder what money may have to do with this. Maybe using the farm for more than regular farming, may also give us a clue to Jason Ellis. JMO

i just assumed it has more to do with his actual business. I remember seeing some weird sales on his property when I looked up the real estate info forever ago.

it kind of reminds me of how they couldn’t criminally do anything with Al Capone so they got him on tax evasion so they could finally get him on something.

If you go to youtube and type in Crystal Rogers there is a video that shows SCENE:3 properties searched in connection to Crystal. It is helicopter footage of the farm and at the 6:21 mark there are several white and pink marker flags on the road white normally mean excavation and pink shows where the utilities are. I cannot get the link to post for some reason, I have been having trouble with that since my system updated earlier this week. But I can see why it may take several days to search this property.
