From what I've found, he's a pilot. Easier to remove her from the scope than him from the cockpit. Also, "I had a friend", when someone starts having legal issues, they will remove you from your primary duties. Mostly to accommodate the scheduling of legal meetings but also to minimize accidents from being distracted.

From what I know... Charges were filed, court hearings were to start on Sept 6th. She had tons of evidenced, I can't specify but it was substantial and her motivated. I won't say she wasn't stressed out but she had lots of support from family and close friends.

Have we really learned anything new since they found her car? (besides where the homeless camps are in Nashville)

End of time in service. But yeah, same thing. I've thought about her all day. My daughter is just slightly older than Shadow and my son is currently active duty at Fort Campbell so I'm really invested in her disappearance. My heart goes out to her family.

I think part of the gap as far her performing actual air traffic controller duties comes from that job being handled mainly by civilians at Ft Campbell. I'm from the area and my husband was also stationed there for a little while, my parents were best friends with a guy that was an air traffic controller there and we would go to a lot of cookouts and such at his house and most if his coworkers were also civilians. Also a lot of times when soldiers are dealing with legal issues they will put them on paperwork duty, happened to my husband while he had some stuff going on and we have known many other people that have suffered the same fate. Basically because there is no way you can be mission ready with ongoing legal issues so they move you from your job to have someone else fill it, either temporarily or permanently, depending on the issues at hand.

Argh, I've forgotten his name! If his arrest had to do with Shadow's case then we can start to discuss him. BUT we can't discuss here until the police or media name him as a suspect. If his charges are too vague (and they probably will be in the system) we may have to wait for the police to release his name as a suspect before we can discuss. Just FYI. Tread carefully until we see it in the news.

It is too vague, though I do find it interesting that it says, "Total Bond Amount: $0," and that he has been in custody since 10/6; this leads me to believe that whatever the charge, it is something serious, and/or LE/prosecutors are making sure that he is not released any time soon. By the way, I still have not been able to find updates on the body that was found by landscapers in Nashville on October 3rd; this would have been three days before the ex-husband was arrested. Could be a total coincidence, though. I do have to say that I am surprised by this turn of events (the ex being arrested, for whatever reason).
Agreed. I have been searching daily for updates on that body found as well. One news site had an update date on October 5th, but there was nothing new added to it. When they found those other bodies in Nashville, they were quick to release info days after. But the one on Charolettes Pike....no updates.
