I haven't seen anything new; however, I have heard other people saying they felt the case has been heating up, too.

So, I'm not sure what everyone is hearing, but I hope so.

The most recent thing I've heard is that Desiree is working with the Investigation Discovery channel on an in depth show featuring Kyron's disappearance. She says it will air sometime this year and it will be explosive.

That's supposed to be at least part of the big news she mentioned last year.

Prayers for the little guy--he needs and deserves a miracle.
 
If the pediatrician really thought Kyron was having "mini seizures" I seriously doubt the Dr make him wait a week for an appointment and be so casual about it. Terri is full of it.

My theory is that she was drugging him and creating either a health crisis and she would be the hero, or she was setting up Kyron's death. It also could have been an accidental overdose where she was trying to just make him look ill and then she had to hide what she'd done.

Kyron was starting to show signs of being very unhappy so clearly something was going on. I think it's also possible he was mentally checking out to protect himself because she was being emotionally abusive to him.

I am glad that ID will be doing a show on him. I give Desiree all the credit in the world for her patience and strength in these long, painful years she has had to live knowing who did this and not being able to put her in jail. God bless her.

So Kyron had a passport if he went out of the country.

Just responding to the seizures comment, when they thought my son was having seizures his EEG was scheduled a couple months out. When the stress of the EEG was so traumatic that there was no discernible data they never did a follow up.

Then, in a 2016 interview, she didn't mention "mini seizures" but discussed walking into Kyron's room and finding him "doing things to himself", thus publicly implying sexual abuse.

Honestly, in my opinion, she would say or do anything she believed would cause even one second of pain to Desiree, or perhaps, Kaine.

I didn't hear or see this interview, or at least this discussion about "doing things to himself". Any way to find a link? Only because I heard another "thing" that ties into this. Thanks
 
this is from her 2016 interview with Dr Phil....

"Vanessa Van Edwards, a body language expert, told KATU and KOIN that although she believes Terri lied at various points during the interview, the stepmother "nailed" her assertion that Kyron is still alive."

I hope this is saying she knows he is still alive out there somewhere. I have believed for all these years she "sold" or "passed him off" to a group or family.

Sure. I dug it out the other night to add to my original comment, but then decided against doing so. I admit it upsets me to no end to hear her calling Kyron her "son". If she ever earned that right, she forfeited it long ago, imo.

Anyway, I'll link it below with a little transcript I did (for those who may prefer not to listen):

Interviewer: Terri says she told her pediatrician and later the police that she suspected something was off about Kyron in the weeks leading up to his disappearance.
Terri: I would walk into his room and there were things he was doing to himself that would tell me that there was something wrong; that somebody may be touching him improperly.
Interviewer: So, you’re implying that maybe he had been sexually abused?
Terri: Possibly. And that was a concern of mine.

 
Thank you Truth, I heard things before this interview so it confirms my thoughts about this case. I am hoping the aspect of him being taken away because of TH false story here has been able to be run down. Gives me hope he is out there, somewhere.

She discussed "mini seizures" on her fb posts but I have never heard about those other accusations she made. OMG....
I am sickened because that makes me wonder if she was further abusing Kyron during her drunken episodes late at night. I put nothing past her.

Poor sweet little Kyron.

Terri wasn't talking about an EEG. She claims Kyron had a Dr's appointment for a week later and that the Dr thought Kyron was having mini seizures. I think maybe Terri was not being entirely truthful about Kyron's appointment or his alleged symptoms.

Actually, my friend's grandson went to a pediatric neurologist, who is also a specialist since this little boy also has a genetic problem, and the neurologist thinks he is having seizures. This was the middle of January and he won't have an EEG until the middle of February. So, it is entirely possible.

I read the article and google the woman's name that is mentioned that started the underground network for these mothers and kids. It would be interesting to research the organization and see if it had any ties to anyone in this case or the area of Portland Or. I know the articles that I have read say it is all over the US, and abroad, internationally. But reading gave me several names of women that are connected to these networks. There is a FB page too. I don't have a lot of time to dig as much as I need to, but if anyone wanted too, you can google Faye Yager and you can get other names. It mentioned that they have churches, women's shelters, volunteers, and others, even nuns that help these woman hid with the kids from abusive mates. I do think something similar happened to Kyron.

WILDERNESS? I do wonder if there is a clue to the whereabouts of Kyron in one of Nevadas earlier books? She seems to be a fan.

Does she seem a fan for other reasons than the name change requested? Granted, I'm not really in the loop these days, but I have no idea about that author or the character. Just curious. TIA
