I'm curious to hear more when Dr. Phil airs at 3pm today in the Portland area. Was not aware until the previews yesterday that KH and DY have not spoken in 3 years. First thing it reminded me of was Dylan Redwine's parental situation.

A few days ago I happened to take a detour via Skyline Rd. from my usual route out to West Union, and drove by Kyron's school. School has recently started up again, and several of my friends are deeply steeped in the back-to-school family energy. The thought came to me that Kyron went missing right before the end of the school year. The timing seems significant to me, with the way a family's life changes dramatically when the kids are out of school. If there were marital issues between KH and TH, the fact that Kyron was now going to be home all summer may have exacerbated an already tense situation.

JMVHO but TH has always seemed hinky to me, from the very first televised presser. KH has never made my hinky meter go off to anywhere near the same degree, but he's still been on the back-burner in my mind.

IMO the legal wrangling this week over custody and visitation and other divorce matters is directly related to the Dr. Phil episode today. Call it damage control or whatever you want, Mr. Houze is a shrewd lawyer known for his tactics.

The thing I take from the limited view we get on any of these cases is that people are all different, and people are all weird.

KH never sent my hinky meter off either. I had heard somewhere that they hadn't spoken in 3 years, maybe this is also part of the reason he didn't want her searching on his property. People definitely are all different and all weird in their own ways. I'm glad this case is getting a full hour of coverage on a show that will be aired nationwide. Maybe it will spark someones memories. I hope Dr. Phil asks good questions but shows compassion at the same time.

Five minutes into Dr Phil and I am blubbering like a fool already.

Something I did not know: KH and DY haven't spoken in 3 years, and when DY arranged the private search party recently, KH refused to let them search his property.

I have had my mind made up since the beginning, and it has never entered my mind that KH knows more than he has said.

i dont think he knows more than he has said. i think he refused the search because LE wasn't involved and weren't the ones searching. i think the fact they haven't spoken in 3 years also could be a factor. as to why they haven't spoke, i can only speculate but if i were DY and strongly believed Terri was directly involved in Kyron's abduction I wouldn't want to talk to the person who "let the wolf in" so to speak, either.

I think Desiree has alluded to this in the past. Maybe even in the most recent search press conference? I could have sworn she said that she and Kaine don't talk - and then I remember when she was being interviewed a few years ago, after she'd been given Terri's emails to read, she said she had no idea that things had been that bad at the Terri/Kaine home. I know Desiree came away from that believing that Kaine should have seen danger signals, and had ridiculously bad judgment about Terri and her emotional state. This was when Desiree said something about how she now knew that Terri hated Kyron. And I think that's when she stopped talking to him.

I think if I were Desiree, I'd hold Kaine partly responsible for not keeping Kyron safe from Terri - even if that feeling wasn't entirely rational (and it might be rational, I don't know what Desiree read to make her feel that way) - but even if for whatever reason it wasn't an entirely rational reaction, I'd still understand Desiree focusing a lot of her anger on Kaine, believing that he could have stopped it or noticed it or done something. I don't think he could have stopped what happened, but I understand how it could feel that way.

Omg do I have a few things to say. I've just watched drp although I hate his show. I must say; if DY and KH have not spoken in three yrs, how is it that I remember that there was discussion of an email several emails from TH about setting up Kyrons Exhibit the night before. Is it possible that she never took him to the school that morning and that photo was taken the night before?

I still suspect KH because of his focus, his snide remarks on the show, his behavior and his denials. Someone is lying about that fight and I dnt think it's TH. If KH knew his marriage was over maybe he is the one who lashed out. All rafters should be checked. Cisterns Wells, And note to KH; you best allow them on your property to search. :banghead:

How is it that I remember all about the emails and TH contacting the teacher about picking up his exhibit the next day it was too big to carry; they didn't carry it in that morning they did it the night before. And this I remember FROM MEMORY of this case. How is it that DY and KH seem to not know about this? Pls anyone.

And of all days WHY was Kaine Horman at that bus stop that day? He NEVER did that.

When working a case; always look at the unusual.

And is this the first we have heard of a really intense almost violent fight between terri and kaine that night? KH flatly denies this ever happened. I'm sorry; I don't believe him at all.

If Kaine was guilty but wanted to appear innocent, the bus stop is the LAST place he would have been that day.

What was unusual was Terri driving his truck that day. And making up an excuse for needing it that never actually panned out.

How do we know that he never did that? I may have heard that but I don't remember. IIRC, wasn't there something about a plan that Kaine was to take Kyron for an ice cream before Kyron was supposed to leave that night?

Also, supposing that Terri knew Kyron wouldn't be on the bus that day she might have asked him to walk with her so she wouldn't have to deal with the bus driver and the alerting the school stuff on her own at first. He'd be there to be suitably shocked that Kyron was missing and could distract the bus driver from noticing that she wasn't shocked and surprised enough.

Was Kyron supposed to bring the science fair project home on the bus with him? Then Kaine could have been at the bus stop to help carry it.

Exactly. And I think it was said also that those things were about ALL the adult so called "parents" in this case. All should have been investigated properly. Any father when a child goes missing who tells his co workers not to talk to the press, sets that red flag and target on his back immediately to me. I think Kyron is alive, and I think Kaine knws exactly where he is.

Is it true they are going to be on Dr Phil *of all places* today? Or is this a re run?

BBM.
Well said.

I guess Jack forgot about Mark Redwine refusing to take a poly.

agree one million percent. he held things from DY that she deserved to know, like terris DUI arrest and child endangerment charge. that directly affects the welfare of her son and she should have been told. im disgusted that he would with hold that from her

I never knew this little guy was born on my birthday. This little guy needs to be brought home. Happy Belated Birthday (Sep 9th) Kyron!

has it it ever been mentioned if Kyron had any allergies of any sort?
tia
