That is really odd because i could swear that LE originally said they could not find him anywhere.

I don't think he's been seen since he was named POI which was after the 10:39pm last night time when the DNA results came in. This is how I understand it anyway. So he probably wasn't seen at all Monday and probably split after he relocated her to where they found her.

I went back to the WWL twitter feed. MF was named POI at around 5:30pm yesterday. (Monday.) So I wonder what his demeanor was the 3 days he was in and around.

Now that they are going to issue an arrest warrant, that should help to keep anyone from offering him shelter or assistance. What a he is to something like that to an innocent child.

Also from the article: "The brother of Matthew Flugence, Russell Flugence, was arrested and charged with obstruction of justice after Sheriff Newell Normand said he had information implicating his brother in the murder and did not come forward.".
 
Sadly, the stepfather will carry such awful guilt for not seeing the evil in his nephew sooner, and allowing him around the family. A bad situation all around. Nobody expects that their family member could be a monster.

Unfortunately, this (Woodmere) area has a huge problem with drug dealing and drug- related crimes. I have a feeling if there were bullets and casings found near the boarded up apartment where the blood evidence was found, there is drug activity involved with this suspect and others he regularly accompanies.

I would guess his demeanor was just as it always was if he was wanted for a recent sexual assault of another child and no one in his family was aware. The side effects of the new synthetic drugs that are easy to obtain on streets like these are scary- hallucinations and manic and violent behavior. I bet heavy alcohol and drug use by MF contributed to an already unstable mental state.

Maybe little Ahlittia was a lot wiser than many of the adults around her and had already wised up to the truth behind this evil man, and he thought he could stop her from telling others what she knew, what she experienced. And she has probably saved others from the same evil she witnessed in such a short life.
 
What a monster this MF is! I hope that they locate him soon. When did Ahlittia move in with her mother and stepfather? I recall a previous comment on here that it was a month ago. I am just a bit confused by Hill's comments:

"Hill said he hasn't spoken to his nephew in several weeks. He said he had no idea that Flugence was wanted for the alleged sexual battery of an 11-year-old in a separate case. He said if he had known that, he would never have allowed his nephew around his family."

What is several weeks? I'm sure that there is a reasonable explanation, but I am just curious.
 
well this news just made a terrible day 100% worse. I don't even have any words for this.
 
I've been lurking since she was taken. I was just reading The New York Post and it had the story that she was found dead in a trash can.
How in the Lords name can anyone do that to a sweet child????? I'm just sick over it.
 
Just to verify, they have a suspect/probable perp but he's not in custody yet?
