Is there any evidence of prostitution?
No....
Is there any evidence of prostitution?
There is actually one already in progress in Detroit.

I think it's quite premature to make that call. It may very well be that the police are using the time to gather more evidence before filing charges against them as it could be used to impeach their stories about what happened. If they are already in custody, what's the harm in waiting? Certainly seems like nothing to lose and everything to gain by waiting for now.
Anyone recall what JL used as a stage name?
Craigslist still has plenty of "Casual Encounters" listings. I'm in the NOLA Casual Encounters right now...which is probably a bad idea, considering I'm in my office.
If anyone ever confiscates my computers, I'm in serious trouble.
I think MAS introduced me to him as Terry, or maybe Tony. Again, with her was usually in one ear and out the other.
I think Skeeball mentioned earlier about her mood swings. One minute she would be dancing and having a good time, the next in a corner crying. I'm lead to believe that when she gets in trouble she breaks down and just cries. I know in our experience, when she cries it usually over the top until everyone just gives up. I'm not sure if that's her MO here, but it certainly seemed that way from her first day in jail when she was questioned. I don't necessarily believe she didn't know what was going on or was too far gone to sign her name, etc... I think that crying uncontrollably is her crutch cause she has a lack of criminal history and it has always worked in the past, cause we get tired of it and leave.
It maybe that TS (Pimp?) had a customer looking for a Girl and asked TS to find someone for them. JL was the unluck girl. Maybe TS and MAS made the drop off and that was the end of JL?
Her stage name was Riot and she worked at Stelettos before she started working at Temtations. I feel she knew Speaks and thats why she left with them. I am from Springfield, the town Jaren lived in, and I was not close to Jaren but I knew a lot about her. Around the start of 2011 I actually caught a ride to bourbon with her and a friend [they worked on bourbon I was just hanging out] I know JL has been working on bourbon for a good 4, possibly 5 years. She started out as a shot girl and the past couple of years a dancer. She was into drugs but no more than anyone else that liked to party. I think that she knew Speaks and Margret and she left with them with intentions to buy drugs from them.

So you actually know this MAS freak? Do you think she or JL could have been into Quick cash or Sex and Escorting?
I live here in BSL and IMO LE is still very much active with this case...I have heard helicopters all day (I live about a mile from Bay Oaks). Once again IMO I feel as if they are looking for the scene, if this scene is located would it hold any viable evidence? With the rain and the time that has past. This has shaken me to the core...being a mother of 3 girls. My condolences and prayers go to all family and friends of this beautiful woman.

i mentioned earlier that i think MAS said in passing one day that she was escorting on and off.
Personally, I don't think JL was involved with it. Yet everything in the quarter is a hustle. It's summertime in Louisiana. It's slow, so offers of money can make people do thing they normally wouldn't do.
What I don't understand is why JL left in the first place. What doesn't make sense to me is that all the locals working in the quarter gets offered things that are too good to be true. Dancers promised money and rings, musicians promised recording contracts, bartenders being promised their own bars, etc. You sort of get numb to it after a while and stop listening. It's not as if the reputation of these two is on a level where you think there is a chance you might get what you were promised. IDK
Money had to be the reason JL would have gone with them. She would have been working for the cash sounded like she and her BF were broke.

"What business transaction or personal grievance they had, we're not sure at this point," said Hancock County Chief Deputy Don Bass.
I agree with you on this, however, money talks, if he had the cash on him up front in the club that night, that could easily lure her out. I just have this feeling she was not going on a promise, I think she was going perhaps to allegedly dance at an afterparty, and the money was given up front. IMHO
